Kerala: Christian groups launch a campaign to identify hotels and restaurants owned by non-Muslims for ‘spit free food’

Soldiers of Cross’, a Christian Group, has been sharing a district-wise list of Hindu-Christian owned hotels that they assert are ‘spit and mucus’ free. The lists are being widely circulated on Facebook, Whatsapp groups, and other social media platforms.

Earlier this month, a video of a Muslim man allegedly spitting in the plate of food had rekindled the debate surrounding the unhygienic practices adopted by some Muslim cooks while preparing food. After the video went viral on social media, Christian groups in Kerala reportedly launched a campaign to identify hotels identified by non-Muslims and urged their followers to visit only these hotels for ‘spit-free food’.

Social media pages of Christian groups such as ‘Soldiers of Cross’ shared lists of Kerala hotels that served “spit-free food”. These lists included hotels owned by Hindus or Christians in different districts across the state that they call “spit-free hotels”.

A report published by The News Minute said both Hindu and Christian Groups have been leading the campaign against Muslim hotel-owners. However, OpIndia could not independently verify if Hindu groups were also involved in creating the awareness of the menace that is being reported from various parts of the country.

‘Soldiers of Cross’, a Christian Group, has been sharing a district-wise list of Hindu-Christian owned hotels that they assert are ‘spit and mucus’ free. The lists are being widely circulated on Facebook, Whatsapp groups, and other social media platforms, where users are exhorting others of patronising only those restaurants that follow higher standards of hygiene practices as against those who might be serving their patrons with spit food.

As a part of its campaign to create awareness among patrons, the group is also asking people to avoid hotels and restaurants with ‘halal’ signboards, asserting that ‘spit food’ is being served there.

Increasing instances of Muslim cooks found allegedly spitting in food
The “spit-free” food campaign was launched in the wake of a viral video that showed a Muslim man allegedly spitting in food while preparing it. Habitual fake news peddler and an apologist for Islamists, Alt News defended the perverse practice by proffering a bizarre argument in its defence. In the article, Alt News tried to justify the act of ‘spitting’ by passing it off as blowing air onto food.

Notably, this is not the first time that Muslim cooks have been under the spotlight for spitting or applying saliva while preparing food. There have umpteen videos shot in different parts of the country where Muslim cooks are seen spitting in the food. On November 15, just a week after the aforementioned video started doing the rounds on the internet, another video of a cook—from a Muslim hotel in Ghaziabad—spitting on the dough before preparing rotis went viral on social media.

In October 2021, a similar video had surfaced on social media in which a man was seen spitting on roti at a Dhaba in Ghaziabad. The accused arrested in the case was identified as Tamizuddin. Hindu Raksha Dal had filed a complaint in the matter. The video was of Chicken Point in Panchvati Ahimsa Vatika market at Bhatia Mod. Not only several cases of cooks spitting on roti have emerged in recent times but incidents of spitting had come to light while packing food items as well.

In March 2021, the Ghaziabad police arrested one Mohammad Mohsin after a video of him making rotis while spitting on them at an engagement ceremony went viral on the microblogging site. The incident purportedly took place on March 11 in the Bhojpur area of Ghaziabad district. The cook identified as Mohammad Mohsin in seen making rotis and spitting on them.

In the last week of March, another man named Mohammad Khalik was arrested from the national capital after a video of him spitting on the dough while preparing rotis in a tandoor had gone viral on the internet. The Delhi Police took cognisance of the viral video and arrested the cook named Mohammad Khalik.

In yet another case of a cook spitting on rotis from March 2021, Delhi Police arrested two persons named Mohammad Ibrahim and Anwar after a video of them applying saliva on dough of the rotis had gone viral on the internet. In the video that had gone viral, one of the two men was seen spitting on the rotis before putting them in a tandoor. It was then reported that the video was from a hotel in Seelampur in Delhi

The message could not have been any clearer or more direct than this

On the occasion of Constitution Day celebrations, which was organised by the Supreme Court of India, the President of India was pleased to make the following observations and earlier,

Prime Minister Modi had spoken of separation of powers during his address at a Constitution Day event. He had said, “The government and judiciary are twins as they are born out of the same Constitution. As the nation looks towards the 100 years of Independence in the next 25 years, the government and judiciary must strive with common goals and common mind to meet the aspirations of the people through collective responsibility while keeping with the separation of powers.”

Without diluting it to the slightest degree, can a better way be found to select judges for the higher judiciary? On Saturday (November 27), President Ram Nath Kovind suggested changes in the Indian judicial system to clear the rising backlog of pending cases. He made the remarks during his valedictory speech on the occasion of Constitution Day celebrations, which was organised by the Supreme Court of India.

During his address, President Kovind emphasised, “I am of the view that the Independence of the judiciary is non-negotiable. Without diluting it to the slightest degree, can a better way be found to select judges for the higher judiciary? For instance, there can be an all-India Judicial Service which can select, nurture and promote the right talent, right from the lower levels to the higher levels.”

He further added, “This idea is not new and has been around for half a century without being tested. I am sure there can be better ways of reforming the system. Ultimately, the aim should be to strengthen the justice delivery mechanism.”

The Indian President pointed out the ever-increasing pendency of cases, thereby adding to the grievances of people and organisations that are seeking for redressal. “The issue of pendency has ramifications for economic growth and development too. It is high time all stakeholders find a way out by keeping national interest above all,” President Kovind had stated.

While speaking about the cost of justice, he noted that only a small section of Indians can approach the courts. “From lower courts to the Supreme Court, it becomes increasingly difficult for an average citizen to seek redressal of grievances,” he added. President Kovind said that he hoped to see increased access to advisory services and legal aid to common people in the near future.

President Kovind also said that the Judiciary must exercise “utmost discretion” while making comments. He said, “Hence, it is also incumbent upon the judges to exercise utmost discretion in their utterances in the courtrooms. Indiscreet remarks, even if made with good intention, give space for dubious interpretations to run down the judiciary.”

Quoting Justice Frankfurter of the US Supreme Court, the President said, “Courts are not representative bodies. They are not designed to be a good reflex of a democratic society. Their essential quality is detachment, founded on independence. History teaches that the independence of the judiciary is jeopardised when courts become embroiled in the passions of the day, and assume primary responsibility in choosing between competing political, economic and social pressure.”

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi had spoken of separation of powers during his address at a Constitution Day event. He had said, “The government and judiciary are twins as they are born out of the same Constitution. As the nation looks towards the 100 years of Independence in the next 25 years, the government and judiciary must strive with common goals and common mind to meet the aspirations of the people through collective responsibility while keeping with separation of powers.”

I think that we all know that the UP elections are going to set the tone for 2024. There’s been a lot of deal sharing recently over the last couple of weeks. Akhilesh Yadav as being tying up with every caste-based party available. Unfortunately see but also very dangerous. Caste as well as freebies, seems to be the name of the game and all election bound states.

Mamta, is trying to make headway in Tripura, while Kejriwal more so in Punjab. Where is he going to get the money to fund thousand rupees every month for every unemployed woman? Simply make outlandish statements and then claimed that the federal government is not giving them funds to institute these measures.

Yogi has a lot to watch out for over the next couple of months. When not just talking about Akhilesh and his caste-based politics. Even Owaisi, will be trying to make even more headway in Muslim dominated areas.

Congress at this stage is seemingly nowhere in these elections.

what is the aukat of this anti national soldout clown and who among the BIF is/are pulling his strings

there is no doubt left anymore that this is a well planned out regime change operation and these farmer's "demands" will continue ad nauseam

Rakesh Tikait Calls For Nation-wide Movement Against Bill For Privatisation Of Banks

Rakesh Tikait Calls For Nation-wide Movement Against Bill For Privatisation Of Banks

5th December, 2021

In a fresh warning, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait, on Saturday asked citizens to 'See the result, on December 6' when the bill for privatisation of public sector banks is going to be presented in the Parliament. In a tweet, Tikait said that he had said at the beginning of protests against three farm laws that the next 'number would be of banks'. Yesterday, farmer unions had announced to form a 5-member panel to re-open talks with the Centre on unresolved demands.

The BKU leader also claimed that 'there is a need for a common movement across the country against privatisation'.
#StopPrivatization

— Rakesh Tikait (@RakeshTikaitBKU) December 4, 2021
Rakesh Tikait demands state-wise compensation for deceased farmers
While speaking to ANI ahead of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha's scheduled meeting on Saturday, Tikait had asserted, "Our demand for minimum support price (MSP) is from the Government of India. The talks have just started, we will see how it goes. We won't develop any strategies today, we will only discuss how the agitation should move forward."

He further added that the Friday talks between Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and farmers were inconclusive. "Talks between Haryana CM and farmers yesterday remained inconclusive, although they have agreed to take back the cases registered against farmers. Like Punjab, we need state-wise compensation for deaths of farmers and employment," he added.

Farmers to restart dialogue with Centre
Briefing the media, BKU leader Rakesh Tikait announced that the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) had finalized a 5 member committee to make all decisions regarding the future course of the farmers' protest. Members of the 5 member committee include farmer leaders Ashok Dhawale, Gurnam Singh Chaduni, Shiv Kumar Kaka, Yudhvir Singh, and Balbir Singh Rawal. According to SKM, several issues such as a law on MSP, the Electricity Amendment Bill, and the Lakhimpur Kheri case needed to be resolved for the year-long protest to be called off.

A senior member of the SKM added, "After the repeal of the three laws, we took stock of the situation today in a meeting held at Singhu border. We then discussed how we can take our movement forward. The biggest issue we talked about was MSP, Electricity Bill and pollution caused due to stubble burning. On these 3 issues, action has not been taken by the Centre yet. Additionally, cases against farmer leaders during the agitation need to be cancelled, and compensation to the 700 farmers who died needs to be given. We also discussed the Lakhimpur Kehri case which is still pending."

The word "Hindu" disappeared from the maharashtra secondary and higher secondary forms in the religion column... "Non Minority" was used instead of "Hindu"... This is a first, NO?

Heartbreaking to hear of General Bipin Rawat. Especially since he was the first CDS and made huge changes with regard to pulling up all branches to speed as well as finally on shackling the Indian Army especially with regard to both operation Balakot and the strike into Myanmar as well.

The MI 17V was a latest generation of MI17’s and something that we are operated for decades in various generations. The latest helicopter and what can be said would’ve been a seasoned pilot.

So unfortunately, what went wrong? I’m fairly sure that unfortunately it came down to spatial disorientation yet again.
What does this mean? Well, the Nilgiri Hills from where they took off is notorious for fast and changing weather. Taking off in the Valley and then trying to rise, I’m quite sure that the would’ve been caught in changing cloud cover. For pilots, this can be a complete nightmare.

In a sense, the pilot can quickly lose sense of exactly where he is in 3d. He will quickly lose all visual cues and in a Valley with terrain all around him, it can be a death trap.

I am not sure whether the Mi 17 V is equipped with terrain radar. This will be a question for the military gurus. In any case, it is an all-too-familiar scenario.

We have all heard of the case of Kobe Bryant, who again was with a trusted pilot of many years who again was in a Valley with quick cloud cover forming. Pilot was dead sure that he was pulling up, when in fact he was hurtling the chopper into the ground.

As in many cases, the pilot lost orientation completely because of spatial disorientation again.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee takes credit for the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage tag for Durga Puja. Here is the truth

G Kishan Reddy (@kishanreddybjp) December 17, 2021

'Durga Puja in Kolkata' has been inscribed by @UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

This recognition is due to 2 years of hard-work of the @MinOfCultureGoI through @sangeetnatak.

I would also like to thank @MEAIndia & India's Permanent Delegation to UNESCO. https://t.co/39fZboYSvi

No, Mamata Banerjee, you didn’t get the award. It is a recognition for India and proud people of Bengal because of the proposal sent by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, an institution under the Modi government.

You, on the contrary, did everything to destroy Durga Puja festival… https://t.co/hGinJg1GSD pic.twitter.com/FKlZKGOIbm

Friends, Muns et. al, long time no see. Was this site down? Tried posting a couple of times and site link seemed broken. Anyway, lots of seminal events in the recent past, most notable being the tragic death of Gen Bipin Rawat.

Now coming to current events, I am keenly watching the following events as they play out:

1. The horrific lynchings at Golden temple. Now, its not my case that any random joker can get away by defiling Sikh sentiments, but the lynchings of the accused is simply barbaric. And worse, every hypocrite, including BJP, doesn't say word about the lynchings but all want investigation into the alleged sacrilege. Imagine, after one of those lynchings by Hindus of Muslims for alleged cow smuggling, had Hindus said the same thing, namly the lynched Muslim's actions must be investigated? Every Lutyen hypocrite from Tavleen Singh to separatists masquerading as diplomats like K.C.Singh have nothing to say about the lynchings by Sikhs but will go on overdrive, even invite US intervention on every random Hindu hate crime. In any case, this blood thirst by a section of the Sikhs doesn't bode well. Hope its nipped in the bud. Now, with Sikh anger so palpable, and most likely directed against an imaginary Hindu enemy, its clear why ModiJi surrendered on the farm laws.

2. For those on the ground in India. I noticed 2 rallies of Pappu were fairly well attended, one in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and the other one in Amethi, UP. Anyone knows if there is any traction gaining for Pappu & Co? Plus, his new Hindu Vs Hinduthva dog whistle targeting Hindus but hiding behind Hinduthva; is the aam Hindu buying this distinction? I hope not, and this attempt by Pappu is a damp squib. Is that the reason why I don't see either ModiJi or YogiJi respond in kind? But if Pappu's hate campaign against Hindus gets any traction, I hope ModiJi/YogiJi will remind voters of the "Hindu terror' bogey that Pappu & Co concocted.

3. Likewise, from what I see, Akhilesh Jinnah in UP is also getting huge crowds at his rallies. Is this an indication that YogiJi is in for a tough fight despite YogiJi's tough talk and all the development work by ModiJi/YogiJi, this UP election is not going to be a cake walk? My own feeling is that, let the Lutyen scum and international bigots scream, but YogiJi should not hesitate to pay Pappu/Akhilesh in the same coin if they continue to play the Hindu hate card.

Hi CRamS,

Sorry for the delay but have been traveling this week. Hope you’re well. Site has been up I believe throughout the whole time. If there ever is any concern, I think you have my email as well you can always PM me on any concerns.
I’m not quite sure what to think about the whole Sikh situation. I think slowly we are starting to see more militant Islamization of Sikhism as well. Unfortunately basing far too many of these lynchings occur on a very violent basis. I’ve seen far too many videos recently including the NIhangs, and more recent what seems to be this mentally challenged beggar being lynched.

It seems that, we are seeing almost fanatical reaction, one that we would almost ascribe to Islamists shouting Jihad and death to the Kaffir type response. I personally feel that this is militancy rearing its head from Pakistan. There seems to be some kind of underground madrassah type activity towards Sikhs that we just have not been able to put a finger on. 80s militancy seems to be renewed and I am sure there is some Pakistan connection. This includes what I’ve been saying previously with regard to all of this happening once the Kartarpur corridor got reopened. Add mafia style families controlling opium and heroin, and you have constant fuel to the fire.

Pappu, I feel just doesn’t ever have the pulse of the nation. For the first time I am hearing murmurings of Muslims openly coming out to renounce Islam. This would be unheard of a decade ago. Yet we are starting to see famous celebrities doing this publicly and on social media.
We are starting to see opens media groups that even we hope to connect with that discuss Takfir, or apostasy from Islam.
Yes, Hindus are becoming more inclusive which I think is the right response. Pappu, may feel that his old strategy of divide and conquer between Hindus may be successful… In trying to split Hindus into two camps. I do not feel that this will be successful.

Have no doubt a lot of those photos have been staged with free food as well as ₹10 notes and other amenities to draw the crowds.
I do however feel that the UP elections are not going to be any form of cakewalk. In fact I do think that the greatest danger does come from Akhilesh Yadav, who has been really fighting the battle along caste lines. While the BJP has been trying to do as much inclusivity as we can including sops for Hindus as a whole, Akhilesh, has been strongly fighting the battle in dividing along caste lines.

Many numerous parties have been set up along these lines. So, while dividing Hindus via Pappu strategy, may not work. Caste divisions I feel will continue to hamper us.

I am hopeful that master strategist Amit Shah can counter this with his known caste breakdown as we have previously seen on multiple occasions.

UP Court orders FIR to be lodged against Salman Khurshid for comments in his book on Hindu religion

Court orders FIR to be lodged against Salman Khurshid for comments in his book on Hindu religion

Dec 22, 2021,

LUCKNOW: A court here ordered on Wednesday to register an FIR against senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid for comparing the "Sanatan" Hindu religion with the Boko Haram and ISIS terror outfits in his book titled "Sunrise Over Ayodhya: Nationhood in our times".

Additional chief judicial magistrate Shantanu Tyagi ordered to register the FIR against the former Union minister.

The court directed the Bakshi Ka Talab police in-charge to get the FIR lodged under the relevant provisions of law and ensure a proper investigation in the matter.

"The copy of the FIR be sent to the court within the next three days," the magistrate said.

The order came on an application moved under section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) by one Shubhangi Tiwari.

In its order, the magistrate said, "From a perusal of the application and the arguments raised in its support, I am of the opinion that cognisable offences are made out against Salman Khurshid."

The applicant alleged that certain portions of the book amounted to hurting the religious feelings of Hindus.

It was also stated that an application was moved at the police station for the registration of an FIR against the Congress leader, but the police did not do so and hence, the plea was filed in the court.

Muns et. al, you guys must have seen that Dharm Sansad event in Haridwar where a bunch of Hindu nobodies were hyperventilating against Muslims. It didn't take even 10 minutes for the entire cabal of Hindu haters: Lutyen elites + leftist and Islamist perverts going all the way up to western rags, to have a field day linking this with ModiJi and BJP and you know the rest of the script.

Furthermore, past several days, you must have seen the same set of gangsters pick every single incident of Hindus opposing Christian frauds and their conversion rackets go to town painting Christian persecution stories. Once again check out western rags. On this, Savio Rodrigues from Goa Chronicle and staunch nationalist will be publishing a rebuttal to NYT rag that as a Christian, he doesn't feel prosecuted in India. Can't wait to read his rebuttal.

So its clear the Hindu haters have decided that 'proving' ModiJi and BJP as 'fascist', 'communal' 'thugs' who our are out to commit genocide on Christians/Muslims is the only way to unset him. They are particularly playing the Christian angle in this season of Christmas so it will generate headlines in western rags and get western attention. Shameful, and we thought India is an 'independent country'. No, we are still a cesspool of colonized slaves.

Only way to counter this vile break India game plan is for Hindus to unite. But is that happening? UP, Uttarakhand elections will offer a clue.

Now coming back to the Haridwar event, it seems to me that it was organized by a bunch of nut cases. Mind you, some of the concerns they raised are genuine. Like Jihadi terror, Islamist inflicted ethnic cleansing of Pandits from Kashmir, Owaisi's rants, and general anti Hindu propaganda by Pappu Congressis and others.

But the manner in which they went about it, the slogans they raised left a lot to be desired. Plus, taking that Nazi like salute was sure to make this to international headlines. This makes me wonder if there was a conspiracy behind this event, or the clowns who organized and participated in this event even have zero PR IQ or not. They could have raised exactly the same concerns but in a much more PR savvy manner. But then again, had they done that, nobody would have even noticed or cared.

So, while the event puts BJP on the back in the halls of elite discourse, but on the ground, if it has the effect of Hindus opening their eyes on how they are being targeted, and they must unite behind BJP, I am not sure its not such a bad thing. But calls for violence etc., are not correct and counterproductive. India doesn't need any more communal riots and the cycle of Hindu Muslim violence that will follow. Hindus just uniting with a show of strength is good enough.

Hi CRamS
I read about the Conclave in Haridwar, really on Swarajya. Surprisingly have not really seen it too much on the news. Have no doubt that international news agencies will pick this up and replay it for the nth time to create some equal – equal between Hindutva and the Abrahamics.
Foreign audiences are already sold on this, so I’m not quite sure how much it will matter. I really wonder who this gathering was really for. It seemed to be at a very local level, with some boisterous statements, possibly even marijuana/substance enhanced.

They probably thought that none of this will probably come out of their local level meeting which was small thinking in view of social media platforms today. I don't think a lot of Hindus are going to buy into this. It may be used politically, but again I think it will have very limited effect.

On the persecution side, I will say this about Christianity as a whole. It is fundamentally based as an apocalyptic faith. Jesus himself was an apocalyptic figure and truly believed that the end times were near. This same thinking can be found within much of his disciples and later stalwarts of the faith such as Paul.

Hence the drive to try and convert as many souls as possible before the end time comes about. So that seems to be one driving force. Another part of this myth is the myth of persecution. The second driving factor for conversion. Christian have been playing this myth of persecution, ever since Jesus was nailed to the cross. Jesus was persecuted. Ever since then every Christian thereafter, seeks to highlight persecution in his own life, to in some way connect with their persecuted Lord.

The persecution myth is inherent to Christianity. In the early days of the church, it was felt that such a myth was a major contributor to conversions.
So, guess what I’m trying to say is that there will always be persecution stories. Part of it is needed for conversion, and the other is finance from Christians aboard.

The way I think it works in India something like this. A new convert of the exhibits that conversion zeal/Josh for his new religion. He will seek to glorify his new conversion in some way, which usually means in India erecting a cross at the highest point locally, either being a hill or building a church illegally on government land.

Financial incentives are usually there especially from missionaries abroad. When the local community objects to such churches or symbols erected, Christians will then scream Persecution, to not only gain more media attention and finance but also because this is a needed part of Christianity, considering Jesus himself was persecuted.

This fake cycle should be busted. In all of these attacks, I wish we had the actual trigger to these events. That is never reported.
Aditya and I were chatting about this. I believe that he did manage to get an interview with one of the heads of VHP on this very issue. Will be interesting to understand what the gameplay is with regard to this well-known “persecution tactic”.

As predicted earlier, this is a repeat of the bangalore incident.

Even there, there were locals involved and the presence of the BIF was unmistakable as it is here too and there are similarities with koodankulam and sterlite as well.

How long will the GoI continue to tolerate this from the cheenis

It's become so very easy for the pakis and cheenis to use local labor to carry out their nefarious activities.

Intelligence Note Indicates Chinese Involvement In Foxconn Labour Unrest: Report

Snapshot
An internal intelligence note hinted that Chinese aid to the workforce at Chennai's Foxconn's plant was the reason behind the labour unrest.

Just a few days ago reports appeared stating that Apple supplier Foxconn's plant in Chennai would remain closed after worker protests over a food poisoning incident. But now according to a recent report, an internal intelligence note suggested that "Chinese aid to the left-leaning workforce inside Foxconn" is the reason behind labour unrest.

This note was obtained by The Week, which stated that according to the internal note “the knee-jerk reaction to the substandard canteen food causing ill health to a few staff members is an indicator of an international design to destabilise industrial establishments”. Additionally, the shocking note claimed that “it is no secret that China was aggrieved over these factories, as, earlier, 48 per cent of the components for Apple iPhone were produced in China".

"Apple has increased its stable of contracts with manufacturers in India of late as the US-China feud threatened to impose tariffs on Apple devices,” the note further added, as quoted by The Week.

It was also said in the note that due to India developing as a manufacturing alternative for Apple and other global IT corporations, China's supply chain became entangled in the US-China trade conflict. The list of Taiwanese companies in India includes names like Wistron Infocomm Manufacturing at Narasapura in Karnataka and Pegatron Technology Pvt Ltd at Mahindra City near Chennai. It should be noted that Wistron had halted operations owing to an assault and violence allegation within the workplace.

Additionally, Sanmina, Ford, PPG Asian Paints and Enfield India Limited, among others, have all experienced disturbance, according to the intelligence note. It also reportedly mentioned a few other businesses in Sriperumbudur, claiming that “the group is making all efforts to intrude”. It further urges that "nefarious activities" should be thwarted by taking the required countermeasures at the highest level.

In the case of Foxconn, one of the Taiwanese companies in India, labour unions were not allowed within the facility and individuals who participated in union activities had little job security.

The Week’s report stated that according to the intelligence note, the issue was that "left-leaning forces" took advantage of the facility's working conditions. It went on to say that the agitation was led by the New Democratic Labour Front, Peoples Democratic Youth Association, Peoples Rights Protection Centre and Students Uprising Movement".

The involvement of these movements in the agitation, as well as their linkages to movements outside India, is being investigated, according to sources in the Tamil Nadu government, the report added.

However, K Kangaraj, state secretary of the CPI(M), dismissed the possibility of a Chinese hand in the agitation at the Foxconn facility, saying, "This is the reason given to hide the unfair labour practices followed inside the manufacturing facility.” He said: “The immediate provocation was that there were severe infections and a few employees died".

Meanwhile, after a high-level team of ministers and senior officials visited the Foxconn complex, the Tamil Nadu government urged the business to improve working conditions, and following discussions with representatives from the state administration, Foxconn committed to enhancing workplace environment.

Gents, those on the ground, any thoughts of the resignations of OBC leaders from YogiJi camp. The UndY type 'secularists' are hyping this up as though Akhilesh Jinnah has already won the election and YogiJi is out, but what is the reality here?

I didn't know who this guy Swami Prasad Maurya is until I saw him interviewed him, but he didn't strike me as a tall OBC leader. My gut feeling is the with Akhilesh & Co possibly using a range of tricks (is he getting help from abroad. I recall last election, some Harvard prof was advising him) including probably bribery to lure away MLAs from YogiJi, and that too those from the OBC and Dalit community, there is bound to be some effect. How much is the question. Can these resignations tilt the election in favor of Akhilesh Jinnah? Or is it just a case of losing 10-20 MLAs? I read that these guys who resigned were not going to be given tickets anyway for poor performance and hence their impact won't be huge. So will the OBCs and Dalits continue to stick with YogiJi for all the good work he has done despite their leaders jumping ship? But it does seem UP election is not a slam dunk as YogiJi claims in his many interviews, its going to be close either way.

forget about ruffling feathers, we need to clip their wings but good

Ban or completely slowdown twitter, facebook amd instagram to a bare crawl until the elections are over.

Twitter is openly interfering in India’s elections. It’s time to ruffle its feathers now

Twitter is openly interfering in India’s elections. It’s time to ruffle its feathers now

Abhinav Singh
15 January 2022

Ahead of the assembly elections scheduled to be held in the states of Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, American microblogging platform Twitter has jumped in the fray as well. No, to not contest elections but sway the result of the elections. Akin to how the microblogging platform polarized the US presidential elections, the bluebird company is now looking to alter the Indian elections by putting up a facade of ‘helping the voters’.

Reportedly, Twitter on Thursday announced a series of initiatives with an aim to empower people with necessary information before they cast their votes in the elections. According to an ANI report, the initiatives have been launched under the ‘JagrukVoter’ campaign.

The news agency informed as saying, “Ahead of #assemblypolls in 5 states, Twitter announces a series of initiatives to ensure a high voter turnout & engage voters. They are: Election search prompt with Election Commission of India, Custom emoji & notification campaign, voter education quiz to support voter literacy”

Reportedly, when visitors search for relevant keywords on Twitter’s Explore page, these prompts will supposedly provide ‘genuine, authoritative sources of information’ to the users.

The press release by the company stated, “People will be directed to resources where they can find accurate information on candidate lists, voting dates, polling booths, and other topics,”

Payal Kamat who looks at public policy and government for Twitter India was quoted as saying by ET, “Public discourse is shaped by these conversations, and we recognise the responsibility that it places on us — to ensure that people are met with reliable and authentic information as they go out to vote.

However, the question begets itself – how does the microblogging platform decide which information is authentic and which is not? Afterall, truth and authenticity can be arbitrary terms used to quash upon the rights of people sitting on the opposite end of the political spectrum. Twitter, inadvertently is saying that it will silence the news and stories coming from one particular faction of the political divide.

Netizens call out Twitter

Safe to say, the netizens weren’t impressed by Twitter’s rather insincere attempt to educate the voters. The microblogging platform was collectively targeted with many calling it a brazen attempt by a foreign entity to meddle in the Indian elections.

One netizen remarked, “This is dangerous. Twitter Facebook google are known to manipulate election in usa and several countries. @ECISVEEP @SpokespersonECI must dissociate from such private platforms with excessive control on information flow and ban them from any such activity.”

Even the foreign nationals were circumspect of Twitter’s initiative with a user named tateinho from Queens stating, “Who needs the CIA when we can just send out Twitter to force regime change lol”

Meanwhile, one user called out the central government for not taking any strict action on the microblogging platform earlier which has now prompted the company to up its disinformation campaign.

“You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor and you will have war” The government didn’t respond to Twitter’s show of strength earlier this year. As a result, Twitter will step up it’s campaign of disinformation and screw them over in the elections.”

Twitter engineered Donald Trump’s downfall

There’s no beating around the bush that former American President Donald Trump and his ultimate ouster from the White House was engineered by the grand coalition of Democrats with the tech giants. the microblogging platform was the head sepoy in the battle and led from the front and created a lopsided field where only anti-Trump agenda was welcomed and pushed on the platform.

As a result, Democrat leader Joe Biden, leaning on the crutches of social media platforms and left-liberal brigade managed to gain access to the White House. Similarly, there is a clear divide in the ideologies of Washington and New Delhi. Joe Biden and his coterie of left-leaning Democrats cannot withstand a conservative, nationalist leader making giant strides on the global map.

Twitter and its love for the Islamo-leftist cabal

Twitter has a rather flagrant history of censoring free speech, especially of conservatives, who are most pronounced in their opposition to Islamists and leftists.

The censorship and suspension of right-wing influencers and even individuals by Twitter needs no introduction. Meanwhile, Islamists and left-leaning anarchists are given a long rope by Twitter to keep on publishing whatever nonsense they deem fit. This has led to people identifying Twitter as an organization that has a hidden agenda.

Modern politics is all about the narrative war. Whichever side dominates it, ends up on the winning side. While Twitter is playing the long game with Biden in its corner, the Indian government still appears to be soft on Twitter. Apart from using the slow and tedious judicial process, the government hasn’t really opted for other much effective and lethal routes to counter Twitter.

However, now is the time to train the guns and show Twitter who is the boss. If the platform is allowed to meddle in the state elections which are being dubbed as the semifinal to the 2024 General elections — the likes of other Silicon Valley social media companies will have their confidence bolstered. Somethings, which cannot be allowed to happen.

Looks like a similar thing happened earlier too in gujarat where a number of "caste leaders" fearing that they may be overlooked for tickets for the forthcoming elections perferred to quit the party and seek their fortunes in another party.

looks like none of them made it then and per the SM, these guys in UP too may face a similar result and have little luck in their chosen fresh pastures.

Nothing for us to do except wait and see.

I do worry about the UP elections, especially with regard to Akhilesh Yadav. I worry about two things. Mainly caste calculations which I think not many of us have a real clue. I really hope that a large proportion of the Dalit/OBC vote, will think about their own caste politics and rise to vote en masse for a larger Hindu coalition. I think that over the last few years the BJP, has been smart enough to not only understand caste politics but slowly work to ally with those in this arena.

Akhilesh, seems to be doing this has his primary focus just over the last year. How much impact he will have is yet to be seen. Also, the other thing that I worry about is the number of freebies yet again being offered. Not just in UP but Punjab as well.
We are seeing the rise of freebies including the usual or free electricity, free water, free Wi-Fi and even now a stay-at-home pension type system for nonworking woman as well.

This kind of freebies system can really not only change the swing vote I feel but also in the long run make severe inroads into the idea of a unified Hindu India.

I mean, how can the government subsidize many free programs without driving itself bankrupt from politicians and states such as this? It’s coming down to a system of who can offer more freebies, without any consideration on how they can actually deliver on what they offer?

Just an example of the below when it comes to freebies.
To match Kejriwals plan of 300 units of free electricity as well as waving electricity bills, Akhilesh is also now promising the same and more.

What is even more astonishing, is the fact that Kejriwal is funding pilgrimages not only for Hindus to Ayodhya, but for Muslims to Ajmer Sharif Dargah and Christians to Velankanni or the Basilica of our Lady of good health.

There is been long association with regard to Kejriwal and Mother Teresa.
Chief minister Channi, has also been seen in churches singing hallelujah.

I think also that there is a greater gameplay here with regard to British tactics of dividing along caste lines, eroding into the Hindu vote bank.

Only time will tell if this is really a successful ploy.

A year ago, Modi described Netaji as the first PM of India

At a time when the entire nation is marking the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I am glad to share that his grand statue, made of granite, will be installed at India Gate. This would be a symbol of India’s indebtedness to him.

Till the grand statue of Netaji Bose is completed, a hologram statue of his would be present at the same place. I will unveil the hologram statue on 23rd January, Netaji’s birth anniversary.
