What the ....

Su Swamy is trying to prosecute Hasmukh aadhia on corruption charges for which he needs sanction from PMO.
Does he have any idea who Aadhia is ? This guy is pretty close to Fin Min & Ketli.
He makes most of the decisions we read in media re Finance matters.
What ever Swamy's intentions are there is time and place for every fight.

in fact, such a translation must be given if possible (exceptions only when the poster does not know the language) as board policy.

On Pranab Mukherjee's acceptance of the RSS invite, his daughter's liberal consciousness has suddenly woken up, loudly.

This is the same Sharmishtha who in 2012 Nirbhaya case had commented on her brother 'Denting painting' comment that 'She couldn't imagine what her father must be going through'.

How sad that the same father has betrayed her. What she must be going through!

Must be saying 'Oh Father, what have you done?'

But her father is no idiot. He is not Manmohan. He is the ex-President of India, who almost became the PM of India. Such an experience leader are very few in India today.

But Sharmishtha feels she is more intelligent than her father. 'Oh father, what have you done?' But what did her father do? He just gave 1 speech!

Or has delivering a speech at RSS's invitation become against the Indian constitution or Fundamental rights?

I see this in a different light.
Disagreement is one thing
Racist/Sheer hatred is another.
This is called Pathological Hatred.

I don't agree with your views - This is Democracy.
I will not share a stage with you - this is Fascism, Racism and Pathological Hatred.
Argentina will not play Football with Israel.
As if no other Army in the world is taking military operatioons and no other army has hurt even a fly!

Pranab Mukherjee will not go to Sangh's stage.
Because only RSS is an un-constitutional organisation in India, rest everyone is holy, moral & completely perfect.
This is neo-casteism, where untouchability has new norms and the joke is that all this is happening under the construct of 'Samavesh(?)', Tolerance & Democracy.
The call to boycott should be seen under this racist PoV.

When Indian interlocutors can talk to Non-State actors of Pakistan, then why can't Ex-Prez go to a ideological org stage to deliver a speech?

Racist hatred like this is not new.

In the Hindu literature world, if a writer shared space with any BJP-RSS leader, he or she would be boycotted. This is well known policy.
Complete ostracization, even to a family level.
Shri Uday Prakash has faced this issue/

Manager Pandey was a lifelong Marxist but when a picture of him doing pooja was found, he was ostracized.

I knew a Hindu poet who, before going to any event, used to enquire whether any BJP-RSS leader was coming there or not. As if only one ill is there in the world - Hindu nationalism. Everything else is friendly and open to interaction, even Naxals & Terrorists but not RSS.

1984 when Indira died, Pranab was preparing for swearing in.

But Rajiv became PM and Pranab did not even make it to Cabinet. He made a new party but came back to Congress. But he has never forgotten this.

He has done what LK advani did to BJP. But praising architect of partition of India is still suspect & worthy of criticism.

How RJB changed Indian political landscape.

This was the time when 'Hindu Nationalism is bad' converted to 'Hindu nationalism is the ONLY bad thing' - amongst Indian intellectuals who lost their minds.

Today, the same intellectuals are to the point, when just to oppose Hindu nationalism, they will blindly support Islamic terrorism.

I would like that along with RSS, we should also discuss PoVs related to Gandhi-killing and Partition, and why not also Nathuram Godse's views?

Even then, the visit to the Sangh by Pranab Mukherji is not that sudden.

Budhham sharanam gachhami, Dharmam sharanam gachhami, Sangham sharanam gachhami is an old Buddhist mantra meaning I take refuge in Buddha , I take refuge in dharma and I take refuge in sangha (the community of monks and disciples). It is a regular chant I remember from childhood. In time it was adapted somewhat pejoratively to refer to the RSS followers and in their case only the last line was used. In this context it is sarcasm combined with the old reference to the RSS.

A well-seasoned political leader like Pranab Mukherji has spoken from the podium of the RSS and praised Hedgewar as a great son of India. In doing so he has not only settled his account with the Congress, but has also laid the foundation of a healthy tradition of debate in Indian politics. For this he must be felicitated.

To be noted, only Untruth is afraid of debate.

One should also not forget that Pranab Mukherji is not just the father of Sharmishtha but also the father of all the Congressmen (father in this sense used the way Amitabh Bachchan would say 'Main tumhara baap hoon' i.e. I am bigger and more powerful than any of you)

Guys, even if there is a tiny chance that PranabJi can be roped into the BJP, I doubt it will significantly alter BJP’s chances either way in 2019. It will be somewhat similar to roping in Kiran Bedi for Delhi elections in 2015. Whatever is left of Congoon popularity is only due to Queen madam’s European origins. A significant amount of Dalits, Muslims, and other OBCs look at her as this great white messiah who can deliver them ‘justice’ from ‘evil Brahmins’. Entire Congoon strategy is centered around that. Take that out, there is nothing left in Cong other than secularism gas

good post by sushobhit! even a track-thoo 'dialogue' with RSS is worthy of just a distant thoo-thoo wonlee! here then, the equation changes to 'RSS < aap+congress' from RSS/aap/congress.

BTW, IIRC, he's the same sushobhit who had a rather big showdown with someone i know on FB some months back; the 'allegation' on him at that time being that he was a 'liberal' voice of Hindi-lekhan (with the usual hallmarks of dissing RSS, Hinduttwa, & all the freebies which come usually bundled with fiberalism in India).

Dipak Ji, my Hindi is very rusty - have not written or read anything in it for years although we speak it at home all the time. Urdu was never good. But language is one thing you can easily recollect thankfully.

This guy writes very well indeed. His FB page is quite interesting, and led me to a whole treasure trove of other writers, of course in Hindi. It takes me quite an effort to read it all and understand it, slow going, but brilliant nevertheless. The other guy I discovered is Atul Kumar Rai who is also very talented.

Thanks for sharing. His post on Bharat Niyati is also quite thought provoking.

a couple more prolific Hindi writers i'd recommend following on FB are, Vinay Jha, and Tufail Chaturvedi. they're though more than just 'writers', and are socially very active. the former is an aged person and uses more of Hindi words in his posts than Hindustani, which is why even sometimes some Hindi-speaking people might struggle a little bit to understand each and every word of his. is from Bihar. also, is not very sympathetic towards BJP too (used to be active in some Hindu orgs earlier i think and later fought for Hindu issues, but was disappointed with BJP's apparently ho-hum attitude...was also insulted by Smriti Irani at Varanasi....a rather long story). nevertheless, he seems to have a very good grip on affairs and seems quite experienced and knowledgeable; a sample, one of his recent posts about 'Dharma-nirpekshata', as espoused by our DDM, v/s 'Panth-nirpekshata', which is what (the latter) the 'secularism' of Indian constitution is based upon:

Tufail Chaturvedi OTOH is a writer, poet and shaayar. is quite a brazen and unapologetic actual and 'internet Hindoo'. uses Hindustani copiously in his posts, which are generally brief(er), precise (he usually builds his posts almost like how Ravinar starts/builds his blogposts, using some parallel, real-world examples, as if movie-scripts), pointed and hard-hitting many-a-times. recently saw a speech of his and was quite impressed and influenced by what he had to say, how succintly he put it and wrapped it all up, and the import of which reaching the audience and the viewer directly and clearly. sharing it here (kshama, non-Hindi speaking members):

Interesting, which is why the RSS is so vilified and yet feared because they teach self-defense, among other things.

What he says about Islam and its ideology is well known to anybody who is willing to read the Koran, nothing says it more clearly than the book everybody knows of but very few non-muslims ever read.

The one sentence he speaks about local ghettos: "If anybody has any doubt, go with your wife/mother to one of these places and see what happens". This is so true, I've experienced it myself, walking to a restaurant in Nizamuddin with my family, going through the street from the parking lot outside was a journey I am not willing to ever take again. Those who've been there will know what I am talking about.

Karims is in Jama masjid area not Nizamuddin iirc.

Primus ji what happened there? Just the staring/lecherous eyes or something else?

I know a female friend who was groped and verbally abused in Fraser Town in Bangalore, Kerala. Ironically, she had gone to eat ‘ramazan delicacies’. Quickly learnrd her lessons though.

RM, that's correct. It was as if the entire male population was staring at us (I was the only adult male accompanying two women and two young girls) hungrily as we walked to and back from the place. It is hard to describe, but there were these little shack like places along the street and these bearded men were just sitting around scratching themselves deliberately and staring at us. I've never felt so uncomfortable in any public space, and I've been in South Bronx and Harlem alone after midnight, trying to fill up gas in my car, approached by drunk and menacing guys - back in the day.

I've sat with wild cheetahs while they were tearing into a warthog and have been on top of Kopjes in the Serengeti with lions a few feet away, have not had the feeling of impending doom as much.

In another life I used to work in the Jama Masjid area and visited the local schools for health inspections. Had to take rickshaws to traverse the narrow lanes. That was another experience altogether but at the time I was much younger and alone, so was not afraid.

A close relative is married to a European woman. He took her to Karim's along with their daughter and said that people starting following them and they had to literally run from the place.

Chandragupta Ji, the one I am talking about is indeed in Nizamuddin.

In the end, in both situations (with my relative and me), although there was no physical contact, the tension in the air was physically palpable and at any time it could have turned into a major disaster. These areas are no-go for the police I am told so God help you if you get assaulted.

Nitin Gadkari threatens legal action after Shehla Rashid accuses him of planning to kill PM ; and Sheila Rashid does a "down-hill sking" which even beats the Pakistanis of Kargil war fame. She says her tweet was "sarcastic".

By the way has any one noticed, "death threats" being received by "seculars" as well? After the news that Modi has a life threat (with letters to support that claim), Jehadi sympathisers like Umar Khalid says he has got a death threat (delivered to his pal Jignesh Mewani ). Burkha Dutt also says that there are folks who have threatened her. I feel this is a calculated attempt to downplay the life threat on the PM of the country.

The Indian National Congress is just remaining in this shape due to its allegiance with the Nehru-Ghandi dynasty. The moment Nehru-Ghandis lose their clout, that is the end of this party. The party does not have any pan-India 2nd level of leadership who can actually run the ship. The Congress strategy of aligning with state level tiny parties, I feel is going to be a big shot at its own legs.

Meanwhile if any one is having a good laugh it would be M/s Yeddy & A.Shah ;). With even the Dy.CM in Karnataka calling his folks for "fire fighting", things are not looking good.
1. DyCM asks party MPs to do firefighting . May be the training staff at R.A Mundkur Fire & Emergency Services Academy can be deputed to teach the MLAs a few basic lessons in fire fighting.
2. Will speak to high command; resolve issues, offers Siddaramaiah . The Liaison Officer still seems to be putting his best leg forward.
3. Allocation of portfolios sets off rift in JD(S) . JD(S) folks not happy with portfolios, Congress MPs not happy asking to sit idle with no ministerial posts. Lingayath MLAs actually taken for a ride. And rumours of BJP already offering these folks solace & comfort. The entire govt. machinery is now in stand still mode.
4. Karnataka's new higher education minister is Class 8 pass. To do justice to the man, he himself had clearly said that with his educational background he would not be able to do much in the education sector.

Baloon flyers, Pranab Mukherjee hardly could win a LS seat in WB, so to expect him to make any sort of dent in Indian Political chaos is laughable.
Also being a Former President kinda bars him from taking up the office of PM or for that matter any other office ever again. So to think he was sending any message to anyone is fooling our own self.
Anyways I have no trust in someone who was part of 'Rape Bharat' club during Sonia Regime, nor he suddenly has become sagacious and influential.
I read his speech. It was as if some teacher was reading for my 10th standard history book, boring, insipid, no insight and nothing substantial.
He like Advani is an Old man now who went when he was invited. There are no political signals in it for anyone.
After retirement, everyone becomes smart, is true even for a retd. president.
Better focus on upcoming spinning off of congress offshoot in KA and Yedi becoming CM finally :)

Random thoughts, Naxals, commies and fakes are so against FDI in India. How come they don't oppose the largest FDI that comes in thru christian and Islamic charities for conversion and breaking India.

Cause they all have the same aim, a "post Hindu India" and collaborates outside India with these insist that they must take up causes which keeps India underdeveloped and backward and non- competitive. You will be surprised the number from these groups whose present or next generation are able to emigrate on fellowships/ scholarships without academic brilliance.

Funnily I don't think these Indian BIF forces realise that there value is only as long as India is united and Hindu.

Once This USP is lost, India will be treated like Pakistan or Bangladesh by Gulf masters needed only for numbers and low level manual jobs,
while Xtian world would treat us worse than African or Latin American countries. We seem to have forgotten our slavery and rape in less than 70 years.
Ofcourse it will become a good basked case for the commies and psudo-Liberals to shed tears and do some poverty tours.

Along with that, These BIF forces will get dumped in the dustbin of western sinister dump.

(for those who didn't watch or couldn't understand) in a few words, the gist of the speech was - this struggle and fight against the brutal polideology of islam is to be fought by us commoners onlee. a sympathetic govt could only help us so much; a military can only help so much. rather, its we who got to fight it out in our gali-mohallas (lit., in our lanes & neighbourhoods). and more importantly and in a complete, meaningful manner, this ideology will have to be countered only by ideology. further, raving & ranting about on SM would be of very very limited help, if any. rather, the least one can do is to help those slogging & fighting it on the ground, financially, logistically, in whatever way one can (without being explicit, Tufail ji tactically avoids taking name(s) of those he & his group helped, smart of him, but one can understand about whom he is talking. they were able to collect Rs. 19,64,000 in a matter of just 2-3 days or so to help *someone* in the dadri case, a family who told that Tufail ji & his friends were the second people who came to visit them in 6 or so months, and the first one to help financially).

P.S. - thanks for sharing about the terrible experiences, Primus ji & Chandragupta ji. these days my mind barely rests in peace. ignorance would've been bliss. but, alas!
my brother once went with his friends to that famed mohd ali road of Mumbai during ramzan to stuff the 'delicacies', during his college youth(ful) days. never did he go back again. reason? the kind-of smug attitude of the hawkers, & kafirs like his group being served stale items. obviously enough for him to exclaim & swear (lit.) 'bah! phaack 'em!'
