Hitman and kohlis financial help for the lankan fans fathers surgery was a great gesture. Good to see boys still doing such things in the face of stardom

I do not understand the need for marriage to happen in Italy. My understanding is it is usually done at bride's place. Unless Anushka's parents live in Italy, I do not know the point of marriage in Italy. Yes, it is their(Virat/Anushka's) money, but it would have helped India if their marriage happened in India.

It's a rubbish argument. Let them get married wherever they want. Their money is nothing compared to the millions others who get married here. Basically they reduced the crowd that would attend by moving it to Italy. This topic however does not belong in the Kirket thread and probably should move to the L&M thread.

The last time Rohit Sharma scored a double ton he got 264. This time around he got only 208. It's a huge moral victory for Sri Lanka. Their bowlers deserve credit.

This particular version of the tweet did not contain the last sentence, else I would have gladly included it :)

Sly post at us, ah Saar? :rotfl:
IMO, he is one of the greatest Indian players, but expecting him to bat us out at every occasion is not right.

SL 135, India 139/5
India wins the 3rd T20.

India Tests -- 1; ODI -- 2; T20 -- 2
Probably the best ranking ever for India?

matters nothing if we don't back it up with wins in SA, Eng and Aus.

Came close to drawing series in SA last time and we have the talent now with both ball and bat now.

Even aus is well within reach - if only we know how to get Smith out

Eng might be the hardest with the swing.

I agree Aus is doable, watched a bit of the current ashes, and I agree with James Anderson when he said, Aus bowling does not really have depth. Of course, coming from a loser, it sounds like sour grapes :-). But I think out batsman can take on the Aus quicks. The biggest challenge is getting Smith out, that guy is prolific. And on Aus home conditions, Warner, Marsh etc are no walk overs. It should be an interesting series.

Now that they useless, mindless hype over Virat Kohli's wedding is over (or as in India, they say Visuhka, cheaply imitating how they call out high-profile match ups in US, like Brangelina), I look forward to some good cricket from him. Boy this wedding hype got to me, who wore what and crap like that :-).

if we had gotten faf or ab, we could have gotten them much cheaper..

but this is what test matches are about..always allows players to fight back..
