unlikely S Roy saar: that guy Abhinav Prakash is from UP (Awadh), has grass root connection, is a dalit and has been tweeting unhappiness over local admin all over UP ignoring dalit & non Yadav OBCs. He is followed by Modi, there is no reason to disbelieve him so far.
Saar, you missed the sarcasm.

FWIW, spent good years in UP during the tenure of dad's postings. Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Bareilly.
So, unlike many MHTH of this forum I share the concerns that Abhinav Prakash has expressed. And that's what I used to write until I fell for the flame bait and got exiled for a month.

Over and out.

Did not expect Yogi regime to have caste bias. He is making same mistake as Rajnath. If this is not tackled soon UP will do enormous damage to the BJP.

If a whole society is heavily fragmented on caste lines, I don't think Yogi (or any one for that matter) can make sweeping changes all alone. He would require a bigger group of helpers to help him. Or else there should be some common cause/issue which makes people forget the caste leanings and become united.

Sure but small things like caste bias in appointments is something Yogi can avoid. This sets up the narrative.

Sachin Sir, we all know what is the one thing that makes people overlook caste leaning and unite under one "flag". But nobody seems to admit it as the BJP itself has put that thing in a distant back seat.

as per SM Dave Fatnavis is happy with Gorakhpur debacle since he considered Yogi to be his competitor for PM's job.
DF is quite liked by MSM by the way.

You mean David Fernandes? The man who can't bring 10000 people to a rally wants to compare himself with Yogi Adityanath? It is possible, you know, that internal sabotage has been done to cut YA to size. Fernandes should focus on his wife, her plastic surgeries & her next bollywood video.

FWIW -
https://amp.scroll.in/article/872048/ut ... ssion=true

I know the source is suspect but the facts are not. It is a fact that BJP-RSS were wary of HYV being an independent Hindutva unit that was outside their purview. It is also a fact that post Yogi becoming CM, a lot of pressure was put on him by BJP to rein in the HYV making it practically defunct. Another fact is that Yogi arm twisted his way to the CM gaddi and neither Modi nor Amit Shah were happy with it.

kejriwal on spree of asking for apology..apparently has asked Jaitley to accept apology and settle case out of court (something we predicted many moons ago).
He has already issued written apology to Majitha.

Dear audience,

Many people pretend that they are "surprised" at some reports claiming that apex upper caste leaders in RSS (=BJP) practice casteism. They are just doing drama of being surprised. Every RSS-workers and RSS-supporters knows that RSS-workers tell upper caste voters that "the day we get 67% majority in both houses, we will cancel caste based reservation" !! And when it comes to malaai departments, they always go to UC ministers. And all secretary posts of malaai departments also go to UC secretaries. All parties have been casteist and RSS is no exception. And all here knew that RSS is not even 1% less casteist than other parties.

Much of the RSS's war cry that "lets fight against islamists" is only to say "pls look aside when we practice casteism" !! And when RSS-workers say "lets all Hindus unite" , what they mean is "when I give plum position to UCs and give raw deal to you SC/ST/OBC, pls dont complain because such complains will divide Hindus" !!!

In India, all apex party leaders including congress/rss/aap/cpi/cpm etc have casteism. Whole judiciary/ias/ips is casteist and no party leaders want to reduce casteism in judiciary/ias/ips as well.

And all party workers know this and practice it.

And all party supporters know this.

So please ignore the surprise expressed by some members that --- "ohhhh I dint know rss is casteist"" --- here as drama only.

Electoral politics is a difficult game. For safety of Indians and Hindus you need saffron opposition to break the cycle.

A staunch BJP Gorakhpuri voter just said... "@BJP4India cannot make a Chu*** of Hindus".... LOL! Take that message very seriously... @NarendraModi @AmitShah... Hindus feel betrayed....coupled with Muslim appeasement. NE elections dont impact UP, Raj or Karnataka...
Modi goes out of the way to maintain secular image and development agenda. Recently he cut Haj subsidy but diverted money to Muslim girl education. Why just Muslim girls? He stops speech when there is prayer call. But when he senses danger he switches to Hindutva. Like the Kabristan Shamshaan comment. Can't understand what is his compulsion.

The more muslim girls are educated, the less kids they have.
The funding for haj means that these guys come back and want their mijjlies polished and have more babies on their return. Definitely a better ROI diverting funds to female government school musilm education

An easier way to control population in India is to come up with a 2 child law. I don't expect Modi to do this in this term and have little expectations that he will ever do it. A man like Modi who understands Islam & Muslims better than most has gone from 'I am a Hindu nationalist' to 'Let us wait for the Azaan to get over'. There must be reasons behind this. Either he has access to demographic information that we don't and he has decided to tone down or may be he has the information that shows him otherwise - that Muslims are not going to be a threat atleast in the near future. We don't know.

twitter
UP by polls: In 2017, in Phulpur BSP+SP was 45.3% BJP 35.3%
In 2018 BJP 38 & BSP+SP 47%. 2014 BJP 52.4% & BSP+SP 37.4% in low polling. Means in assembly polls the BSP+SP combine will win. Not in LS polls if full voting takes place.

In Gorakhpur also similar story. 2014 BJP 51.8%, BSP+SP 40.7. In 2017 BJP 40.2%. In 2018 BJP 46%, BSP+SP 49%. In LS polls when full voting takes place BJP will win but not in Assembly polls.

Araria where muslims bulldozed BJP [lost to RJD] - is one of the 'blocks' that get funding under MSDP. The criterion for selecting the block is *minimum* of 25% minority population. Here is funding for MSDP for 2016-17 by Modi govt.
"Minority-dominated constituency". Sonia brought a scheme MSDP(Multi-sectoral development Programme) where "blocks" with *at least* 25% minority population get special funding. Modi is continuing it & proudly advertises abt MSDP spending.

More input from Araria Bihar
Two blocks which changed the game in favour of RJD are Araria & Jokhihat in Araria constituency both have massive number of muslims, later has over 75% muslim population, they came out in huge number and gave a massive margin of over 50,000 votes in each block, hence fight which was neck to neck shifted in favour of RJD, in other 4 blocks of this constituency both parties have done fairly well.
Also Hindus didn't come out in enthusiasm.

There is PLENTY of room for BJP leaders to grow and for that they dont need to get jealous of anyone. Why would DF envy Yogi when his own fiefdom is not secure ? Same holds for all BJP leaders. They all rode on Modi wave. Now is time for them to hold on to their sphere of influence. This is the phase of consolidation their own turfs before they even clash each other. All this talk of jealousy is hogwash and being planted.

The top rung of the BJP leadership is clearly head and shoulders above the rest of the political leaders. Modi not only energizes cadre but also wins over the fence sitters. Therefore, BJP, when led by Modi and operationalized by Shah, is a winning force. Without the duo at the top, BJP is just as susceptible to defeat as any other party is. Yogi might have won from his Gorakhpur five times but he is yet to prove that he can carry a state on his own, notwithstanding the fact that he is the best Chief Minister in India at the moment. Long ways to go before Yogi can eye the South Block. Obviously, if BJP doesn't clear the path by winning 2019, Yogi (or any other current BJP leader) will never become the prime minister of India. Hopefully, RSS leadership won't throw any wrench in the works (like Mohan Bhagwat did during the Bihar election).

People here want yogiji to dissolve caste biase. ROFLMAO. Kattar thakurvadi is what is said about him in whole region of Gorakhpur and adjacent areas. Still could not fathom the reason why Modiji has put him in C.M post , there were much mature politician and better administrator than him . The article published in swarajya do clearly led down the reason, hopefully something is done in this front.

I think Modi supported (and is supporting) Yogi because Yogi is a henchman who can change the ground situation rather quickly. Which CM/administrator could have reversed UP's spectacular slide into lawlessness with such decisive actions as Yogi has done?

President Trump blocks Singapore company Broadcomm from taking over US communication company Qualcomm for sake national security. It could have been a $160 BILLION deal, or $160 BILLION of investment into USA !!! It could have been the LARGEST deal in US history so far !!! But Trump blocked it
see https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/12/tech ... erger.html
.
In a presidential order, Mr. Trump said “credible evidence” had led him to believe that if Singapore-based Broadcom were to acquire control of Qualcomm, it “might take action that threatens to impair the national security of the United States.” The acquisition, if it had gone through, would have been the largest technology deal in history

imo, we should use this as opportunity to expel FB, google, whatsapp, paytm etc out of India, by citing national security as concern, and then use "100% made in India, 100% made by Indian CITIZENS residing in India" software to replace these CIA / Chinese companies. (note - FB/WA/Google are run by CIA, and PayTm is run by Chinese)

RSS-workers (and also congress/aap workers) are big supporters of FDI etc in software , hardware etc in India, even defense sector of India !! One needs to decide what motivates these RSS-workers.
