So incase the original BR thread is locked, please discuss ways to revive/save the GDF.

Do we really need to discuss the revival?

Any amount of discussion is not going to change the decision.

Hello guys. Thanks Dileep for setting this up.

I think BRF shurdown has nothing to do with misogyny. You can find real stuff everywhere on the net. I think it is a legal notice that they got from some powerful person in India. I am not sure if it from the Modi Govt or not because almost everyone there is pro Modi.

Must be some bhai or some extra judicial entity with a "I know where you live" threat that all the mods panicked and shut it down in 2 days.

It is not coming back. BRF I think is a dead man walking.

Still, it would be better if we have some of our brf posters who have legal background, like y******** ji, help lay down the forum rules. That is, if he is willing.

What exactly happened? Who was the culprit? Can we figure out so that we do not repeat the mistake here?

There are three type of people
1. Who never make mistakes (God)
2. Who make mistakes and learn from them (me).
3. Who make mistakes and never learn from them.

We should be careful in allowing likes of TKiran and Habal here. There should be some guiding principles.

Glad you're here. I really like to read about the adventures of K&N as I've got a couple of couples here like that too. Seems like the K&N modus operandi is the same everywhere in the world!

^My CT abt "what happened"

1. Mods are US Based, and contribute free time to BRF.

2. US person spooked them, and these guys panicked.

3. The Mods depend on US for karcha-pani-mortgage - 10% Annual Hike.

4. So these guys had to safeguard US interests.

5. BRF is the only credible source on the internet. DFI, FB and Twitter is too un-moderated, crude, unsubtle. No one claims a worldview from these platforms. BRF is the tip of the spear. Hope the BGF will take over, with same results.

Bleddy brilliant of dileep / sharvan saar to make the same user interface / colors / poster handles as BRF. Spot the raw agent ........

BRF is very popular and regular media reporters do visit the forum and mostly are lurkers.

hello every one
still heart broken with GDF melting...
no idea why it happened. I am grateful to mods there for they were far more knowledgeable than me! And they shared it with us.
IN particular I liked Singha saab a lot.
I wish he could be persuaded to join us along with Raja Bose.
I wish every one very well. Malice for none.
Just that it has been shell shock for me.

my CT is global mod was not happy with the way it was going on, many good members drifted away, many stopped writing. new comers didn;t have the light like previous ones! Quality was going down and the one who is chief incharge was unsure of quality in future.
So it was decided to gradually taper down the work. Otherwise what dhamki will work out today unless a commander of aye sis is out for you.

Only other CT is a congi pasand see eye aa spooked mods!

Could be simply that conversations were getting a bit too uncivil there. Either way, hope we can get some good folks from BRF here.
