And also that f!king Aussie captain asking Pant to baby sit while he and his f!ck mate go on a date. And Aussie commentators find that light hearted banter. Pant should have retorted by asking him (Paine) to clean his bathroom.

Aussies are by nature aggressive and abrasive. They carry this chip on their shoulder that they are superior white European messiahs in the Asia Pacific. All that is fine, its part of their in your face nationalism which is emblematic of all white countries, but when they superimpose that on us ‘lesser people’ it gets ugly and bigoted and must be responded to in kind

I think sledging (Or banter) is pretty funny this time. Atleast Paine and Pant are making it amusing without being abusive.
Ozzies like to become decent and oh-so-fair-yet-hard when they are losing else they are the bullies of the park.
They are condescending and downright abusive even to whites like Fake Pakis of London and no-longer-white-but-still-white SAF and
please-respect-us-too Kiwis.
I find it more interesting than sleep inducing Hindi commentary team. Where is Akash Chopra and Sehwag ?

PS: I hope India wins the 4th test and sweeps the series 3-1 rather than draw it at 2-2.

I think sledging can be pretty funny, but the problem is it can escalate depending on the situation. And it is the Aussies who put themselves as the arbiters of what is acceptable sledging and what is not.

Take for example, what Glenn McGrath said to Ramesh Sarwan: "What does Brian LAra's dick taste like?". Sarwan responded 'Ask your wife'. And Glenn exploded on the pitch and screamed insults/f-words etc. So, how was Sarwan to know that she was undergoing medical treatment? And is it OK to say it if the wife is medically fit. And why do the Aussies get to decide if comments on a wife is off-limits but it is OK to call two cricketers from the opposing team homosexuals (when they are not). Atleast Lara's antics off the field do indicate his preference.

Sledging is a the aussie way of bullying, and acting sanctimonious/holier-than-thou at the same time.

Added later:
The final test match is high-stakes for India (creating history) and Australia (they desperately want to atleast draw and salvage the series). Would not surprise me if they try to pull some funny stuff. Wish we had a VVS Laxman type batsman who'll dependably thrash Australian bowling.

So my prediction is 2-1 for India with last day lost partially to bad weather and a docile wicket.
Boy! Watching Kuldeep is a joy, it's like vintage performance by Kishore Kumar.
You can see how he is setting up a batsman and then bamboozle him.

After tomorrow, it is shut down to test cricket till World cup for India.
So it is curtains for Vijay and Rahul for now and next time we will see Shaw and Mayank walking out as Indian openers. Vihari has done enough to keep selectors interested unless Mr.Potential again returns to take #6 spot.

The problem with many Indian cricketers is when they get some success, they start living the high life with Bollywood starlet girlfriends etc. Rahul seems to have fallen into this trap. This is when they stop working hard and enjoying their fame.

By Rahul, do you mean Lokesh or Sharma ?

It takes lot of self control and passion for the game not to fall for gushing fans and Tinsel town starlets. These are young boys who have been raised on idolizing movie stars and when you find them all over you, then who can blame them.
With Virat snapping Anushka, Every IPL celebrity is hopeful of a 'affair' with Bollywood or Tollywood or kollywood or even TV starlet.

I mean KL Rahul.

And another
https://www.crictracker.com/pictures-kl ... talk-town/

Hardik Pandya is another guy bent on screwing up his future by pretending to be a West Indian like how Kambli did.

Re: Cricket

^ Every successful cricketer should keep a picture of Vinod Kambli in his locker to remind him how skill and potential mean nothing if not followed up with hard work. Temporary success can be lost in a jiffy if one indulges in pleasure of senses without doing the hard yards. Crciket in India especially is a fiercely competitive game with biucket load of politics and there are multiple players ready to take your place and multiple power centers ready to sacrifice you.
Anyone remember Karun Nair, The triple centurion ?
Rahul is almost certainly out of Test team and Hardik pandya will always be one series away from being dumped. He ain't no Roger Binny or Manoj Prabhakar.
Don't forget that Irfan Pathan was a way better bowler and a decent bat when he started and now he can't get even picked for IPL.
If you want to be live life like Shane warnie or Chris Gayle, You better bring those credentials and body of work.

It's funny that I talked about Hardik Pandya 2 days ago and the guy lands himself in a soup right away.
The guy thinks that he is just too cool. Look at him here. Bugger is from Baroda, but thinks he is from Barbados.

The ladies on twitter are jumping up and down calling him "sexist" and a "misogynist" and even "racist". I don't think that boasting about how many chicks you get is being sexist or misogynistic (women throw those words out for all reasons) but I think he is being very dumb and stupid and throwing away his career being a "playa". Living up to his first name Hard-di*k.

Also, making comments on your boss (captain, ex players) etc is just asking for trouble. Just put your head down, practice and perform.

How Hardik Pandya got 'carried away', comments that led to storm and show cause

Why should BCCI care what Pandya speaks in a fun chat show. Are they the moral police now ?
So Yes, he maybe disrespectful to women but what has that got to do with his cricket. As long as he scores runs and takes wickets, that's pretty much what we demand from him. Rest all is between him and his Gals.

India is going bonkers with this politically correct stuff campaign.

So the jokers running CoA recommend ban on Pandya and Rahul.
And pray who defines what is crass and misogynist.

It's a bit more complex than that though.... these days corporations worry about their image because it reflects in advertising money. So even if a high performer misbehaves with values opposite to what they want to portray, they kick him out. Uber did that with Amit Singhal.

My opinions on this are that he is wasting away his talent just like how Vinod Kambli did, and what's with these guys pretending to be Chris Gayle??
He also mentioned that he felt “West Indian in spirit” earlier in the interview.
:rotfl:

Pandya has improved as cricketer in last few years so I don't agree that he is wasting his talent. He bowls faster now, bats better and is a good fielder.
Rahul had a bad series but it can't be ascribed to his lifestyle. They have worked their asses off to be at where they are.

On Corporate money, I totally agree that BCCI is worried about sponsorship and money and should be and hence this reaction.
That Bookies would salivate to know the inner character of certain people could be one of the triggering points for BCCI reaction.
It is easier to be Chris Gayle than Rahul Dravid when you are inundated with all the media spotlight and women throwing themselves on you. I won't blame Pandya or anyone else in their place if they actually indulge in whatever they bragged about.

PS: It was still a fun TV show so I think this banning them is a over reaction in a country where a known match fixer like Azhar gets to sit in the Parliament and a biopic is made on his life.

One thing the leftist cabal and thier global masters don't like us feeling positive inSports, science, technology, infrastructural assessements, for this group as Salman Taseer said "Indians should stick only to Bollywood" - after India test victory against Aussies they feel there is too much nationalism int he country and want to bring down cricket down a notch or 2.

Shows the planning these folks have, Karan Johar with his leading questions had done the show in November but deceided to air it once Indian series victory was done. Its a good lesson for some of these cricketers to keep away from Bollywood like Srinivasan's BIL, hell Bollywood inner circle can get away with a lot no matter what you do you are never one of them.

Why is BCCI worried, cause women and girls are part of the entertainment, bad press means lesser IPL tickets and more Cinema tickets, it is the crowds and hero worship from many female fans which keep the moolah flowing in IPL. BCCI does want to be "Uncool" here.

Its OK. Everyone gets 15 min of fame and life goes on.
Meanwhile get ready for knives to be drawn out if MSD doesn't perform during the current ODI series. With Pant and KD on his heels, He cant afford to be any less than optimum.

Guys, I am seething with anger at the making a mountain out of a mole on what Pandya said by the cheap westernized Bimbos imitating militant white feminism. Some chutiya Bimbo even called Pandya's crap as 'hate speech'. Give me a break.

I mean WTF was so "mysogynistic'" in what Pandya said. Of course, it was crass and crude, and in any case he apologized. The prick was carried away by whatever success and money and fame he has achieved. And the moron himself looks like another deracinated idiot thinking he is some calypso elite just like the feminist Bimbos who gunned for his head.

Also, I am mystifyed as to why the axe fell on poor Rahul. What did he say that was even remotely offensive?

All this crap reeks of excessive superficial self righteous indignation to proves some point as though we are soooo pristine and pure that we will not tolerate even some silly supercilious imbecility from a a 25-year old kid. Probably trying to outdo cricket Australia for banning Smith and Garner. And of course the arrogance of our westernized femi nazis. I hope someone has the balls to show these b!tches their place under the sun.

I hope the bans are reversed very quickly, both are talented blokes and India needs them, Rahul's poor performance in the tests notwithstanding.

CRamS ji, How are you different from feminazi - You are calling someone who has achieved more than all of us on BGR put together, a moron, a prick and deracinated idiot.
Sadly In this case, Rahul got run out because of the batsman facing the bowler.
Rahul may be lucky because of ban. He was woefully out of form, so he still has chance to go back to Ranji trophy and iron out his lack of form. Pandya clearly was playing for the galleries and has already lost couple of endorsements.
By the way, why are we trying to hang Pandya here. He was just being a brag. It isn't as if most of the guys haven't indulged in this kind of locker room chat.
Pandya I think got carried away by the couch and may have been coached to brag about his sexual encounters. Rahul and Hardik should immediately goto SC and file a PIL using good offices of PIL expert Bhushan on their FoE being denied by COE.

I don't understand why you are comparing me to a femi Nazi. I clearly said, I would cut Pandya slack and I said poor Rahul did not even deserve a rap on the knuckles.

I know Pandya's talk was just maacho lock-room banter. All I was saying was that he seems carried away and is clearly a wannabe Chris Gayle or some other west Indian star. I find that funny, but I would not have said one word but for all the self righteous cacophony by the femi Nazis.

in cricket you mean. Surely it's not about sore apples since some cricketers don't choose to attend after match parties (like Sachin maybe) and that has never made people on BGR call these cricketers (who missed the parties) as losers. Guess they don't make efforts to brag to parents about picking up girls based on talents and would be left speechless and bland in shows where such questions are asked.

sirji,

pandya is no kid.

he is a street smart, arrogant, uncultured, very profitably employed, tax paying, self promoting, very aware, selfish, supremely entitled, misogynist SOB who thought that he was appealing to some as yet unidentified demographic and he erroneously assumed that he was getting free publicity.

His conduct was unbecoming of a budding role model with even just a modicum of social responsibility.

While I am sure that he shags all the poontang that he can lay his greasy hands on, this was not something to be discussed publicly.

Now, the poontang will not so easily come his way.

His departure from the team/public space will be no great loss.

he sure is a legend in his own mind.

BTW, there are enough India cap hopefuls to fill their shoes very quickly

The duo got banned because BCCI needs to protect its image and they being contracted employees of BCCI must upheld the standards of decency and professionalism.
If You can't do it during the contract, then do it on your own money and time. BCCI doesn't owe you nothing.

Of course personally I still don't know what exactly did he say that was so offending. He was simply describing his modus operandi of sleeping with a girl and that his family is pretty open about his "conquests".
