^^ Yes sir, perhaps many of us BLR residents should sign up with US Army in hopes of receiving US Citizenship soon enough just like the girl in an article I posted a couple of hours ago did . Then we can experience the drought conditions & heat waves in SoCal, Arizona, Nevada or even Texas (if we chose to end up there) instead of in BLR among 20 million plus souls.
Good luck, my friend. I came back from all that 2 years ago, and have no intention to go back! Let me know how it goes :rotfl:, and don't waste your sarcasm (if that's what that was) at me.

My post was more in the lines of the continual lack of planning exhibited by the collective lords of BLR: BDA, BBMP, BWSSB, etc. I guess I should add BMRCL to the list too at some point, going by their insistence on building side-by-side stations at congested locales instead of stacking them and save real estate, or not integrating stations with alternate modes to transport wherever possible.

Another problem that will come back to bite us later is the design for only 6-car rakes in the Metro, that too using SG (though BLR is not alone in this, unfortunately). This is akin to insisting on only 60 and 80-ft roads in new layouts, which is okay for a small town of a million people, but not even close enough for large 3-4m city, let alone a metro city.

I was in Delhi last month and saw how BG makes a difference in ride comfort. Humongous crowds on the Gurgaon line, yet easily swallowed up by the 8-car BG rake. They have space to add one more coach to make it 9-car. In contrast, my commute this week has been all about relentlessly pushing to get into the coach at MG Road, and all the pax collectively holding our breaths till the door closes :). Rinse and repeat all the way to Majestic. Even the relaxation post Majestic will be a thing of the past after the Kengeri extension is complete, so it's only going to get worse. The 6-car rakes arriving later this year will alleviate the situation only for a few years, given the relentless growth the city is experiencing. Hence my reference to 20 million souls - the city planners have not thought in those terms at all, and don't seem to have anything different in the future either.

shops closed and strike on sarjapur road today near ORR junction.

BBMP has issued notices to widen road by some 10m on either side, a proj thats delayed by a decade but with no immediate compensation...that is what the protest is about.

if its really 10m as the shop keeper told me, then a wide swathe of business upto decathlon will be demolished ... springfield apt will have the road right next to the ground floor flats...i have only seen it in sunnyvale and el camino real :?

Anyone saw "Veronica" movie in Netflix? It's apparently based on a true story of a girl in Madrid playing Ouija and what happens to her. Have any of you tried playing that game?

Video of the fight between a Tiger & a Sloth Bear. Really amazing how the Sloth Bear was able to fight back...Tigers have been known to kill & eat Sloth Bears. Even the biggest of us would not be able to stand a chance against these animals.
Tigers would be able to kill much larger animals like crocodiles however this can happen only if the tiger feels threatened or is desperate for food, same is the case with bears who can put up a fierce fight against tigers. Bear does not have separable digits or retractable claws hence all the muscle power from the body, shoulder and wrists is transferred directly to the paws. A much smaller animal from the bear family - the honey badger can fight off a group off lions just based on fierceness and guts. I guess it must be the most vicious and fearless creature in the animal kingdom and favourite of docu makers.

Just like Pakistan needs more islam and US needs more guns India needs more of such unique brains to come out and speak their heart. The last thing we want is a nation of bigots and hypocrites who shout Jai Hind two days of the year and spend the rest of year bashing Hindu festivals. Increasing number of people are being honest about their hatred for India even though apart from libtards no one else gives a rats a$$ about their 2 cents opinion on India. America, Canada can keep them, thats where we should be releasing our bile along with to Pakistan.

i have heard of such games from my mother, aunts who as teens met up with their older cousin who knew how to play it. they claimed a ulta bowl would move on the table. the scene described was very disturbing to us kids

hell yeah full marks to the girl. if only our straitlaced eb2/3 hordes waiting dutifully in line for 25 years to get their GC had the drive of this girl to get in and stay in, we would all benefit - lebensraum and food for our hordes and decent people for them.

hispanics , pakis and ME types game the system really well there. desis only partly so.

Where will she run when she learns of all the rapes by her armed forces colleagues? Maybe she will run away to Syria, join ISIS and feel "safe". Another libtard dumba$$.

Goras don't rape boss. They 'make louvve'. Have you not seen the kind of untouchability practiced by Indian girls in Western countries towards fellow Indic men? They will only date white boys and do as they are told. Feminism only comes to play with desi boyfriend and his desi family.

Had an Indian Christian girl in my project arguing about how rapes had increased in india recently and was talking about an old nun rape case in Bengal. (Blame it on Modi types). She is in living in Australia last 6 years. I asked her if she heard of any rape case in oz in the 6 years. She said none. I said the Aussie men must be gentlemen to which she beamingly agreed. I asked her to check online for the number of rapes in Australia in the last 1 year. The number was alarmingly high and% wise much higher than India's. In fact Australia figures in one of the worst for rapes and domestic violence. I told her her hatred for india and ignorance to gora crimes was quite evident. The stats shut her up for good

Countries with Highest Rape Crime:

Where the Heck is India in this? I know the rate must be so high that it can not be printed and so they omitted it.

the scandals and stories are coming thick and fast..it is more than one a day now and increasing.

what would be a story for a week in another administration, lasts only a few hours with this one, because the next one pops up.

that works in campaign mode. not govt mode.

in govt mode, the stories do have impact on day to day governance and perception.

trump's model of "let me create a bigger story to move from this story" leads to spending time and energy on managing stories than managing the country.

he is already short-staffed and people are still leaving and nobody is signing up.

this is not going to end well.

for ex, he just started this trade tariff thing and lost another staff because he blindsided his own people. his "base" may love this posturing etc..but in every election after the prez election - the dems are on an upswing and even flipped deep red places.

he lost a senator in alabama, he lost virgina ..

is this still "thriving on publicity" ?

1. An affair with a Pornstar was vehemently denied by today's POTUS.
2. But there is a nondisclosure about something that did not happen.
3. An attorney (connected to T) out of goodness of his heart paid $130,000
4. He forgot about the nondisclosure and announced the payment making the nondisclosure null and void.
5. Then Sarah Sanders said ( :o ) the POTUS won an arbitration about something that never happened.
6. Now Pornstar suing Potus (first time in history)
Now I hear Sarah is on the mat.
Poor comm directors, press secretaries of the WH have real short lives (anyone remember third in command of the Al Queda?).
Raj Shah you are up next.

A year has gone and there's a SC judge for the EJs (that's a victory for mcconnell really, but trump claims credit), there's tax cut for the rich (for the ultra rich donors of the party) and then there's some regulation repeals here and there like the personal mandate in healthcare and some stuff that helps his friends and donors.

other than this - a year plus has passed with nothing to show for except scandals and stories and electoral losses. the attrition at the WH is 40% plus with couple dozen top people leaving. the indictments are already there by mueller who's closing in and has key people in a stranglehold. It's only a matter of time before they flip and point to the one above them.

even the ardent supporters on the other place are trying to be brave by rehashing some fox news arguments and some pseudo profound theories of "deep state", atlanticists globalists blah blah. talk about being in a bubble..these are supposedly our best thinkers for years and now fallen prey like common low-informed hillbillies.

One of the companies that will benefit the steel tariffs is Arcelormittal accounting for almost 20% of steel production in the USA. An Indian owned company?

Doctors in Canada reject pay hike for funds to be used in health service, their NHS suffers from shortage of nurses & infrastructure at places.
Canadian specialists are already paid $400,000/annum which is quite a solid pay even when compared with their European counterparts who are paid pittance in accordance with socialist society.
US, Australia & Canada have emerged as top pay masters for doctors as a result even British doctors running to Aus & Canda for jobs.

Take away message is Canadian doctors have displayed good ethics by supporting nurses (hence declining pay hike) who are back bone of health care,
also it is apparent in West focus is on team work than individual brilliance.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. The sky is falling and someone needs to save Amreeka.
  • Corporate tax rate brought down to 21% from 35% and a whole bunch of corporate exemptions eliminated. Unfortunately, the US will see some repatriation of billions of dollars.
  • Reduced federal taxes for families earning under $100K/yr.
  • Low unemployment with manufacturing jobs added, and good growth.
  • Low black and Hispanic unemployment
  • The emphasis on the Indo-Pacific and cutting poor TSP's aid.
  • US oil+gas production ramped up to over 6 billion barrels a day to prevent OPEC from jacking up prices.
  • We'll just have to put up with this crap until Jan. 2025.

there is also rampant corruption, especially from mid eastern doctors who seem to have very dedicatedly imported their "cultural" practices into their canadian medical practices.
