In Karnataka, TDP n Chandrababu Naidu have used all tactics to dissuade Telugu voters from supporting BJP. But in Hyderabad Karnataka where most Telugus live, BJP has increased its tally from 6 to 20+. People have rejected CBN’s politics. Our Southward March has begun.
Yes indeed, the antics of "Chandranna" have entirely failed. It is good that this snake has left NDA - hopefully forever, unless he comes crawling back.

Similarly, didn't Shiva Sena contest some 50 seats in "Mumbai Karnataka" area ? Anyone got their deposit back ? It seems like Uddhav did not learn much from losing all deposits in Gujarat 2017.
But Hyderabad-Karnataka is Telangana side, Does Ram Madhav think TDP is strong in Telangana to influence Telugus?
That argument may be okay if you talk about Bellary areas.

TMC sweeps Bengal rural polls, BJP a surprise No. 2 (TOI)
KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress has gained an unprecedented stranglehold on Bengal's three-tier village administrative system, gaining 95% of zilla parishad seats, 90% of panchayat samiti seats and 73% of gram panchayat seats that went for polling and for which results were declared on Thursday night.

More than a third of the seats didn't see any contest and the Calcutta high court stayed announcement of those results in a directive last week. If and when those results are announced, Trinamool's victory percentage may improve as most of the "walkover winners" are, according to officials, likely to be Trinamool candidates.
Seems BJP women candidates did very well. BJP also made inroads into tribal dominated districts in WB. TMC has cannibalized INC in WB while the commies are withering away. It may soon become a TMC-BJP bipolar fight in the LS and VS polls in the coming years perhaps.
However, in a clear indication of growing dissent against the ruling Trinamool, BJP made significant inroads into villages across Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, Jhargram, Purulia and parts of West Midnapore and even Birbhum, which stood out for the large number of uncontested seats, where saffron party candidates won more than 20% gram panchayats that went to vote.

All the districts where BJP has performed well have something in common: a substantial tribal population. The consolidation of anti-Trinamool votes behind BJP shows this bloc can disturb the settled political hierarchy in at least three Lok Sabha seats named after the districts (Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri and Jhargram).
Wonder how much media traction JihaDidi's goondaism and violence got in local bangla media. How much awareness is there among common people in urbans, rurals, etc? Nationally at least, nobody can any longer pretend TMC is 'democratic' with a straight face anymore. Only.

It is a declaration of war. Nothing more, nothing else.

The RSS has put CBN on notice and rightfully so.

High time that someone called out this skull cap wearing "sickular" for what he really is.

Looks like Yeddyurappa would become the CM who had the least tenure. The BJP says they are confident of winning the floor test, but honestly I see no chance of that happening :(.

Will people stop with the nonsensical BJP will lose ? No offense to anyone but no-one here has yogic powers to change what is going to happen. But having to ignore every other post because it doesn't add value to the discussion is irritating.

maybe, they don't need more time.

They may have already sewn up the support.

pappu, mummy and daddy (HDDG ji) are conspicuously very quiet. No sign of leadership from any one of them.

pappu tells HDK, my mummy will speak to your daddy to make you the CM. Good luck to both of us.

The question is not BJP loosing or winning. The question here is why BJP is plying such a high stake game?
I can understand from congress point of view as this is there only ATM. But what is there for BJP. Will it not hurt them for 2019? This issue will be shown on and off to dent Modi. If Yeddi looses they Congress will showcase that there was an undeclared emergency and get into power again. They did the same after 26/11 propping the theory that hindu and RSS was responsible for 26/11 and won the center else there was now way that they could have won.

Not going to dent BJP at all. Both the camps are playing high stakes. JDS & Congress have openly shamed the people of KA. One MLA even literally said 'Shame on the people of Karnatak for voting for BJP'. Now everyone can see how Congress-JDS are defying the mandate of the people by hoisting a 36 MLA party on the people of KA while the biggest party is kept outside. How all snakes are joining forces just to prevent BJP winning.

Battle lines are already drawn, not too many fence sitters now.

The assumption here that everything AS does is on the public domain before he does it - which means people have not understood how the "New BJP" works, or that AS has not gamed this to the end - which is again a ridiculous assumption knowing how they work.

May not be a bad thing. Isn't there a superstition that whoever rules KA looses central? one more year of corrupt JDS will give KA to BJP in 2019 but KA will get screwed for an year more

The one good thing IMHO is that more people will see congress shenanigans first hand including so far hidden congress eco-system entrenched in courts.

Trust me, BJP sympathizers are more bewildered why BJP is dragging itself when there is no chance they will win the vote.

I hope AS has some plan.

Or is it just a message to Cong that no matter what we will make your life difficult. ;)

Guys, as much as I can't tell where BJP will get the 8-10 MLAs from, but it does seem that both JDS and Congoon are determined to fight this to the wire. Sad that from Ravishankar Prasad to Nirmala Seetharaman distributing laddoos when some channels were showing BJP hitting the 120 mark, it could very well be that Pappu and his slaves will have the last laugh. At least so it seems. Is BJP just grandstanding or is there some latent agreement with rebel MLAs in Cong JDS? The main face of JDS seems to be that p!ssful guy Danish Ali, he hates BJP with passion. I always suspected that he is a madam/Pappu slave and he is now showing himself to be one.But I don't not how the others in JDS feel about aligning with Pappu. Finally, I think Yeddy's confidence possibly comes from silent signals he has received from the Lingayat MLAs in the rival camps.

Latest rumour/news is that Yeddy and Kumaraswamy met in a hotel. So if BJP and JDS are coming together...

Congress will be left high and dry at the altar.

why are congis anxious tonight for SC, when they have MLAs safely tucked away in Hyd ?

to make it for tomorrow floor test they will either have to rent a 737 or start off by bus tonight already...
