A congress+jd(s) coalition would be the most likely out come. Don't know if BJP would do a "Bihar" on them at a later point of time . Kumaraswamy getting "communal" feelings say after 18 months down the line .

Yes, Modi was in Mysore. I was there. Old Mysore is JDS territory, fat chance of anyone else winning there.

No, Modi did not go to Mysore this time. He came earlier in Feb. BJP may tie up with JDS and I think Kumaraswamy knows Congress is sinking.

And this time the elections were all held in a single phase which prevented Modi from having more rallies. If Modi wanted, he could have scheduled the polls in multiple phases and held more rallies.

But not in the JDS strong areas. There are 30 odd seats in which either Bjp and jds are fielding weak candidates. Bjp and jds are both doing exceptionally well in the mysore area overall by grabbing seats from the congis.
