We should not even be using this term 'Moderate Muslims'. It is an oxymoron. Anyone who isnt wahabi is simply not following Islam properly. Those who criticise ISIS as being unislamic are either liars or not true Muslims themselves. ISIS has justified with proper historical references and documentation why their actions are 200% pakka Islamic and as per their Prophet's direction. There is simply no room for argument. Most muslims will tuck tail and run if you present these arguments or most will simply deny even after knowing well enough that they are true word by word.

Anyone who believes a Muslim is an idiot and is destined to be extinct.
Indeed .. what is this moderate and non moderate muslim. You either follow the book and are a muslim or you dont and you are not a muslim. There is absolutely no middle ground here.
There are certain ground realities one needs to be cognizant of. Muslims in India or elsewhere are not going away and neither is Islam. We may wish it away but it is not going to happen. No amount of 'ghar wapsi' is going to assimilate 100 million muslims (or more) into the Dharmic fold. So a solution has to be found which does not lead to a war ending in the loss of millions of lives.

Many of us living outside India are forced into contact with Islam and muslims on a daily basis. Some are colleagues, some clients in our respective businesses. Some are friends of friends in the large social circle we have and some, through marriage are now within the extended family. There is no way you can ignore them or be hostile towards them. Majority of these people are actually quite nice, friendly, even fun to hang out with. They too have the same aspirations and goals as most of us. There are always exceptions and you learn about those very quickly. However, even within this 'friendly' group of muslims there are certain rules. You NEVER discuss Islam, terrorism, religion or any of those topics. Certain things are taboo in their presence. As long as you can do that the relationship remains cordial and even pleasant.

You cannot thus completely ignore this large mass of humanity in your midst that you interact with daily, that your children may call close friends, that your relatives may be married to. Whether moderate or not, the reality is that in the social milieu and 'melting pot' (or garden salad as I prefer it) that the modern world is, the only solution that will work is one that allows equal rights and equal respect to all citizens.

The problem is that Islam explicitly does not permit this and actually exhorts its adherents to do the opposite. The more 'pious' a faithful the more likely to follow these diktats and thus become slowly but surely radical in his views at least, if not actions too. Which is why the progression of a friend from a 'moderate', alcohol-swilling, party type to a hijab wearing, 'observant' muslim is disturbing. Sadly this trend seems to be increasing all over the world. Hindus who have finally woken up will need to smell the coffee soon, because most that I know are still in the 'Islam is peace' mode.

In India there is increasing polarization on both sides and a conflict the size of which has not been seen yet is bound to come, how we deal with it will determine the fate of the country and ultimately, the world.
Only Hindus think like this and on these lines.

No Muslim ever thought how to live with the people of other faiths and how to bring about equality everywhere and let everyone live in peace. No Muslim ever thought how to live with 800 million Hindus and how to find a way to live with this overwhelming mass of Hinduism.

That is the difference between a rational, peaceful & naive Hindu and a Muslim.

The mentality of muslims is not etched on rock. Their opinions, like other people, are subject to change. While it is true that most muslims want what others want - a good and decent job/life, etc, it is also true that they are subject to more religion driven pull, which is of increasingly fundamentalist bent. Who is a moderate today may (or may not) become fundamentalist tomorrow.

So we non-muslims face a choice between doing something now and facing a conflict tomorrow, and not doing anything and facing a war day after tomorrow.

I understand completely where you are coming from, believe me, and I am certainly on your side. However, my comments are tempered with an understanding of the world order as it is and I am looking at the picture a little differently.

Islam is the fastest growing religion on the planet and there are many reasons for this. There are about 1.6 billion of them and they make up almost a quarter of the population of this world.

How exactly do you propose to do away with all of them? Even if you argue that it is only India that you are concerned with, how would you deal with 150 million muslims? There is no denying the Sword if Islam has been very active throughout history in converting or killing kafirs. Do you propose Hindus arm themselves and do the same to the muslims? What measures can we as the majority in the country take that will convert them all to their ancestral faith?

The only solution as I see it is to figure out a way to live peacefully with them. Not as dhimmis as we have always done, but as proud Hindus, with equal rights and respect. Without fear of our women being victimized in any way or our right to exist being threatened.

It is a very complex problem and there is no easy answer. One way to start would be to remove any privileges religion grants in the nation's laws. IOW, completely separate State and Church. Create a truly Uniform Civil, criminal, social code that applies to all equally. No difference for any caste, cult, creed, faith, language. That alone has not been done yet and you can see how difficult the going will be.

Operation Jihad Mafia: Kerala's conversion factories unmasked
The PFI, already under NIA investigation, is accused of brainwashing Hindu women and marrying them off to Muslim men.

She also explained the entire modus for proselytising, emphasising conversion centres have to disguised as charitable or educational establishments in order to prevent any backlash.
"We don't have to officially declare it to be a conversion centre. It's an educational institute," Zainaba admitted. "A lot of preparation goes into it. We need resources. We have to create a trust first."
She disclosed such secret centres have to have at least 15 members to qualify for registration as a trust.
"Later, we need to figure out a place for the campus. That campus should house all facilities, such as a mosque for namaz, accommodation, a well-furnished institute like this (Sathya Sarani)," Zainaba explained. "Then we have to get it registered by the government under the Societies Registration Act."
Further, Zainaba revealed how the PFI outsourced name-change certificates after converting inmates.
a founding member of the PFI, whom India Today reporters met in New Delhi under cover, admitted that the organization aimed at creating an Islamic state.
Ahmed Shareef, the PFI's founder member and the managing editor of its mouthpiece Gulf Thejas, also confessed to illegal funding.
"All over the world. That is the motive," Shareef acknowledged when asked whether the PFI and Sathya Sarani worked on a hidden motive to establish Islamic state in India as suspected. "All over the world. That is the motive."
"Islamic state is the final goal?" the reported probed.
"Final goal," Shareef replied. "All over the world. Why only India? After making India an Islamic state and then they will go to other states."
He also revealed how he raised funds for the PFI in the Middle East five years ago and sent them back home through hawala.

1)Case study: In this thread, I will show how leftist frauds of @thewire_in like @rkarnad openly lie and attempt to discredit any genuine information presented, all to apologise for Jihadi barbarians like Tipu/Khilji

They simply cannot digest that truth is finally coming out
Image

2)Lie 1: This Khilji apologist @rkarnad claims I suggested that Khilji made 60,000 heads of Hindu Kafirs.

This is a lie. My tweets clearly says "Khilji made 60,000 heads of Kafirs" (which he did). Nowhere have I mentioned the word "Hindu"
Image

Lie 2: @rkarnad has no choice but to accept that Khilji indeed made a pillar of 60,000 heads.

But he now claims that those those were heads of Muslims and says "it was a battle between two Islamic forces":
Image

Image
This shameless lie of @rkarnad is exposed in the next passage of his link which clearly says
1) Khilji's general made a surprise night attack on mongols,"annihilated them"
2) Most were slaughtered. Those who surrendered were deprived of their arms and forced to convert to Islam

Folks, today is the martyrdom anniversary of Maj Somnath Sharma and 70 years since the Battle of Budgam. Have put out a blog on the same. Do have a look.
Blog Link

Twitter Link
At 0800Hr on 03 Nov 1947, Maj Somnath Sharma, 4Kumaon & Capt Ronnie Wood, 1Kumaon reported to HQ 161 Brigade to discuss the day’s patrol pgme. Consequent to the discussions, 2 Companies of 4Kumaon moved out on a patrol towards Badgam, followed shortly by another company of 1 Kumaon.

The Company of 1Kumaon subsequently moved on towards Magam and thereafter returned to the airfield at about 1 pm. That done, Maj Somnath was also ordered to start thinning out. At 2pm, one Company of 4 Kumaon moved back. Maj Somnath reported that all was quiet with villagers going about their daily business.

Little did he know that there was a huge force of raiders was gathering in the vicinity, trying to skirt the Pattan route blocked by 1 Sikh. Had the 2nd Company too moved back at 2pm, route to airfield would have been unguarded.

Too bad for the enemy, it wasn’t so.

.
.
.

By the time the epic Battle of Badgam was over, less than 100 Kumaonis had held back nearly 700 raiders & saved the airfield. The Kumaonis lost 15 killed, including Maj Somnath Sharma and 26 wounded. 1 ammo truck too was looted by enemy but they failed their objective, losing many more than they killed.

This was the closest they would get to the Airfield. EVER
Hereafter, the raiders would ‘advance’ in only one direction – BACK to where they came from, i.e Westwards.
In evening, 1 Punjab moved double quick to take up more blocking positions to secure the airfield. Now at night, they waited. The airfield was still vulnerable. Another determined attack by the enemy, and it could still fall .. especially at night.
Yet the enemy failed to make good this opportunity of a lifetime.
Reason? Khurshid, the leader of that party was injured in the leg by a bullet. Leaderless, the Pathans dithered on further course of action.

https://swarajyamag.com/ideas/where-are ... ellectuals

Where Are The Left’s Intellectuals?
Indian leftists, on the other hand, have never existed in that intellectual realm. Several of the eminent leaders such as Shripad Dange, E M S Namboodiripad, and Charu Mazumdar were at best little more than reactionary puppets of Moscow and Beijing. The rare exception, Manabendra Nath Roy, published his anarchist dystopia, New Humanism – A Manifesto in 1947, which criticised both traditional Marxism and parliamentary democracy as unsuitable for Indian conditions. Ironically, the case for an Indian ‘anderweg’ is one of the fundamental positions of Indian traditionalists who would be further thrilled to see Roy borrow from the Charvaka school of dharmic philosophy rather than lean on Karl Marx, Thomas Hobbes, or John Mill to argue against uncritically imported Western politics.

Leftists may perhaps be horrified by my casual dismissal of their stalwarts such as Irfan Habib, Nivedita Menon, and D D Kosambi, among others. Admittedly, there is something of a definitional grey zone in the matter, and as the United States Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart said of pornography, we know an intellectual when we see his work. The primary criterion for the label, however, should be relevant application of deep knowledge to societal issues, be it via history, philosophy, literature, or some other field. A second yet equally important quality must be the influence of a work or idea beyond its immediate sphere. C Wright Mills’ The Sociological Imagination, for instance, although a work of sociology, has gone on to affect history, philosophy, literature, psychology, and several other fields. It is telling that such works have become part of the canon for scholars on the left as well as the right and cannot simply be ignored. In this regard, the Indian left’s pantheon falls short even if there may be the occasional impressive monograph with a circumscribed focus.

In the West, the degradation of the left has reduced its contemporary members to screeching banshees who have little intellectual rigour and are lost in a relativist quagmire, that, in its defence, started with the right idea in mind. With increasing success in achieving its social goals, the leftist mission took on a self-preservatory corporatist hue as those aims were extended further to avoid the loss of an agenda or political relevance. A genuine concern for non-Caucasians devolved into shrill political correctness; true distress at the second-class-citizen status of women has unravelled into a toxic movement of hatred and a search for things to be offended by; and the protection of children has degenerated into a defence of laissez-faire parenting.

‘True Indology’ Responds

The owner of the Twitter handle, @TrueIndology, responds to the allegations made against him/her in a leading national daily and on the web.
I am writing it simply to show how a sections of the mainstream media suppresses those individuals who present facts that do not match this section’s opinions. Let this serve as a mirror to those ‘intellectuals’ who keep pontificating on freedom of expression on one hand and show utter contempt for the same freedom of a private citizen. They have no tolerance for the views of others, even if those views are based on hard facts.

This gang has, time and again, sought to defame and discredit me, a private citizen, through means fair and foul. Most of you would be aware of the daily diatribe from the left-inclined people on my Twitter timeline, which I largely choose to ignore.

However, I logged onto Twitter on Sunday, to find my handle featured in an TOI article titled - Faking history starts online

It began by ranting how anonymous handles on Twitter circulate falsehoods and cites the example of when an image was circulated all over the internet on Tipu Jayanti, as an image of Tipu Sultan. It names me among the list of handles who circulated the picture.

Last week, as Karnataka observed Tipu Sultan Jayanti, the social media universe exploded with right-wing rage. A photograph with the tag ‘the real Tipu Sultan’ was circulated on Twitter and Facebook, accompanied by vitriolic comments. In fact, the photo was of a Zanzibari slave trader named Tippu Tip ... ^^Wait, wait, wait... whattabout media cleanup, hain jee?

The bolly-lolly wood-crood is small fry. A few testimonials tested and the whole effing lot will fall in line puking info on command.

The more these turds do larger-than-life heroics on screen, the smaller-than-life off-screen their appetite for serious conflict tends to be, IMHO. Like was said of dhimmedia in Indira's time - when asked to merely bend, they preferred to crawl. Only. Expect nothing less from the bollyfarts.

===

One benefit of a bhaiwood swamp-drain will be the exposing of the underworld nexus and connections.... something that should also snare quite a few netas, baboo(n)s, hizzoners and even low-level clerk-pandu types in MH.

That in turn opens the door to cleaning up a major part of the gambling, fixing, extortion, human-trafficking, gun-running and perhaps even drug-running rackets centered around MH. THAT to me would be the real prize.

Only.

Whats going on with Rohit Sardana controversy? There seems a huge uproar over it, issuing fatwas, threats, FIRs...

In my whats app group and Facebook video clips floated about some EVM tampering with all votes going only to Lotus symbol. Whats going on with that?

Rohit Sardhana 'controversy' is timely. Has polarized people into revealing true colors.

The fiberals howl at Sardhana's "blashphemy" but stop short of saying what was so offensive about what he said.

For the record, he made a general statement saying why only movies mis-named after Hindu Goddesses like "Sexy Durga" or "Sexy Radha". Why not also make movies on "Sexy Fatima" or Ayesha or Mary.

And that was it. Next, we see co-ordinated mobs of pious beards yelling abuses hoarse in front of India Today media offices, and death threats online (of course).

Meanwhile, an indic collective of lawyers have banded together to defend Sardhana and are filing cases against maulanas who've merrily been issuing fatwas on and rewards for Sardhana's head in full camera glare. Interesting times.

A week ago Caravan published a report on how a CBI Special judge who in Nov 2014 was handling Amit Shah case on the Sohrabbudin encounter had died in suspicious circumstances. Following the report everyone from Kejri down were beating the drum for retrial, investigation into the judge's death, etc.

But today, IE (http://indianexpress.com/article/india/ ... s-4956115/ publishes a long counter which rubbishes almost everything that Caravan reported.

I am just continually surprised at how diametrically opposite some of the published claims can be! One says the judge was taken in an autorickshaw but the other clearly gives the names of the judges whose cars were used to go to the hospital with those judges accompanying.

===

Only.
Saar, mishtake ho gaya. Yes, media needs to be cleaned up big time, however when we say the term 'media', it has an extremely BROAD nexus of people. Probably international conglomerates having vested interests at much higher levels. Cleaning this up would be a huge task. But then there are some low hanging fruits such as media houses to be held accountable for false/propagandist bytes.
