The UP Govt accused Arvind Kejriwal led AAP government in Delhi of playing petty politics, lying and spreading rumours, risking the lives of destitute migrant labourers at the time of a crisis as serious as the Coronavirus pandemic.

khujliwal is up to his old tricks as usual.

Manufactured crisis? Delhi govt cut electricity and water supply of migrant workers, told them buses were waiting for them at UP border

The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday accused Arvind Kejriwal led AAP government in Delhi of playing petty politics, lying and spreading rumours, risking the lives of migrant workers at the time of a crisis as serious as the Coronavirus pandemic, according to a report by Indian Express.

The UP authorities stated that the Delhi authorities disconnected the water and electrical energy connections of individuals. “Throughout lockdown, individuals weren’t even supplied meals and milk in Delhi,” stated the report quoting UP govt sources. The UP authorities have also alleged that DTC buses dropped off individuals on the Delhi border within the title of assist.

The Delhi government spread unnecessary rumours by making announcements that there were buses at UP border ready to drop individuals to their locations, said the UP govt.

Basically, to do away with the migrant workers in the national capital amidst the pandemic, the AAP government allegedly spread the rumour that buses have been waiting at the UP borders to take them to their respective households. This impelled the mass exodus of these migrant labourers, now camping at the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border, in an attempt to return to their respective villages.

The report said that the UP CM Yogi Adityanath has stayed up till late last night to overlook the arrangements in order to help these stranded migrants, mostly hailing from UP and Bihar, to return back to their respective homes as soon as possible.

“Till late in the night, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was busy issuing instructions for arranging buses for the purpose,” the spokesman said, adding that the CM also directed officials to arrange for food and water for such people and their families. “At night, transportation officials, drivers and conductors were called from home,” said the statement, adding that 1,000 buses were arranged at night to bring back people stuck on the Delhi border.

On Saturday morning, senior police officers reached the Charbagh bus station in Lucknow to ensure that those arriving there were provided with food and water.

The buses later left for Kanpur, Ballia, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Faizabad, Basti, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Gonda, Etawah, Bahraich and Shravasti.

State’s DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi and Lucknow Police Commissioner Sujit Kumar Pande, were personally present at the bus depot to monitor the arrangements, the spokesman added.

The Uttar Pradesh government has claimed that these migrant workers will be ferried home to their respective villages free of cost but will be screened for the novel coronavirus first.

Heard from Saurabh today that there is some underlying information with regard to the mass exodus. Apparently rumors were spread among the migrant communities of both Biharis as well as those from UP. Rumors were that the current lockdown could extend all the way till end of July. Not sure what the motive behind spreading such rumors were but it seems that it created a mass panic among both of these communities.
In view of this there was the huge sea of people that we saw the bus station. Definitely a scary scenario with regard to transmission of the virus now all over India.
Hopefully once they get to their respective villages, they will continue to enforce the lockdown as well as slow the spread.

Female healthcare and police staff not to attend to Tablighi Jamaat members after they roamed naked and made lewd gestures at nurses: Yogi govt declares

3 April, 2020

The Uttar Pradesh Government has decreed that female health professionals and policewomen will not be deployed for the treatment and security of members of the Tablighi Jamaat after nurses at a hospital complained that the members of the Islamic missionary organization misbehaved with them.
UP Govt has directed that women health workers & women police personnel will not be deployed to treat and provide security to Tablighi Jamaat attendees placed under quarantine, after Ghaziabad’s MMG Hospital staff complained that Tablighi Jamaat attendees misbehaved with nurses.

— ANI UP (@ANINewsUP) April 3, 2020
On Thursday, it was reported that members of the Tablighi Jamaat roamed naked in their wards and made lewd gestures at the female staff of a Ghaziabad hospital. The Chief Medical Officer of the District MMG Hospital in Ghaziabad said the same in a letter to the Ghaziabad Police. The letter also states that obscene comments and songs were being heard from the ward, and inmates were asking for beedi-cigarettes from the staff of the hospital.

An FIR has been lodged against them for misbehaving with the staff. NSA has been slapped on them for indulging in sexually perverted behaviour with the nurses.

a friend just informed me that these were sent by a company in kerala, and that these are gloves only.

the gloves were only a part of the consignment.

the rest consisted of PPE including masks but not involving the N-95 type of masks.

While many wondered what the consignment contained and whether the items that are on the prohibited list or scarce in India were being sent, sources told India Today TV that none from 'prohibited list' was exported.

"We have not exported anything from the prohibited list. However, items on the 'restricted list' can be sent in a case to case basis depending on the government policies, decisions, prior commitments after assessing info about availability, storage, prod capacity, and anticipated demand," the source said.

According to the commerce ministry's amendment in export policy, dated March 9, 2020, masks, ventilators, the textile raw material for masks and coveralls, fall in the 'prohibited' category of items and cannot be exported.

Meanwhile, another tweet by Cochin Customs clarified that they had cleared a consignment for latex surgical gloves to Serbia.

The tweet read, "Cochin customs in action to clear a consignment of 35 lakhs pairs of sterile latex surgical gloves to Serbia to support the global war against #COVID2019"

Sources say, in times of such economic crisis, the export of latex gloves are "providing sustenance for poor rubber farmers and there is no shortage of gloves in India."

An official added that there are around 35 units with a total installed capacity of 100 million pairs in a month. But never worked in full capacity (only reached 20-30 per cent capacity) because of poor demand and import of cheap gloves from Malaysia and China.

Virulent Legacy: The Breaking India Followers of Hazrat Nizamuddin

our urban naxals, the BIF, commies, desert cults and kafir inspired sickular purveyors of a perverted "syncretic" ganga jamuni tehzeeb without the least understanding of the civilization wound and the hoax perpetrated by this loathsome concept are historically ignorant or most likely, in direct cahoots with these forces.

the "poetry" of amir khasrau is a prime example of the cultural orgasms that these ignoramuses get high on while organizing "lit festivals".

Virulent Legacy: The Breaking India Followers of Hazrat Nizamuddin

The Tablighi Jamaat’s deep-rooted fanaticism and hatred for kafirs (non-Muslims) can be traced to its origins as an offshoot of the radical Deobandi movement.

Rakesh Krishnan Simha @ByRakeshSimha
03-04-2020

The Tablighi Jamaat’s mission is to spread Islam around the world but right now it is vying with China to become the biggest super-spreader of Coronavirus. At least 10 deaths and over 300 hospitalisations are being linked to the Jamaat’s congregation at its headquarters in Delhi’s Nizamuddin Markaz Masjid or Banglewali Masjid, which has become one of the 10 Coronavirus “hotspots” in the country (1). These numbers are likely to go up as more than 8,000 Jamaat members had congregated at the dargah (tomb), and the number of people they came in contact with could be in the tens of thousands.

Forget shame or regret at having flouted government orders against large gatherings during a pandemic, the members of the Tablighi Jamaat spat out of the windows of the bus that was taking them to a quarantine centre. They threw tantrums, made unreasonable demand for food items, abused officials and spat at doctors and staff in the centre (2).

When not engaged in bio-jehad, the Tablighi Jamaat has been linked to a string of terror organisations, including the Harkatul Ansar, Harkatul Mujahideen, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan and the Taliban. People associated with the Jamaat have been linked to terrorist incidents like the San Bernardino massacre by a Pakistani husband and wife team (3).

US officials say that the cult, with 50,000 members, is rife with jehadis, and jehadi groomers are recruiting at mosques in at least ten American states. “We have a significant presence of Tablighi Jamaat in the United States, and we have found that al-Qaeda used them for recruiting,” says the FBI (4).

Origins of Fanaticism

The Tablighi Jamaat’s contempt for healthcare staff, police and the government is owing to the fact that the movement does not consider individual states to be legitimate. According to the French Tablighi expert Marc Gaborieau, its ultimate objective is nothing short of a “planned conquest of the world” in the spirit of jehad (5).

The Tablighi Jamaat’s deep-rooted fanaticism and hatred for kafirs (non-Muslims) can be traced to its origins as an offshoot of the radical Deobandi movement. The cult was established in 1927 by Muhammad Ilyas al-Kandhlawi in Mewat near Delhi. Ilyas’ followers were intolerant of other Muslims, especially Shi’ites, let alone adherents of other faiths. Part of Ilyas’s impetus for founding the Jamaat was to counter the inroads being made by Hindu missionaries who were successful in bringing many neo-Muslims back to the Hindu fold. Syed Muhammad Mian, a writer of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, writes that as a result of this initiative, more than 11,000 Hindus re-converted to Islam.

One needs to get into the DNA of the cult to understand its mentality. The Nizamuddin mosque and dargah are both named after Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya (1238-1325), a Sunni Muslim scholar and Sufi saint of the Chishti Order. The Tablighi Jamaat’s choice to establish itself in Nizamuddin in the 1930s was motivated by proximity to the dargah and its magnetic draw on Muslim communities across India. Scott Kugle and Bruce Lawrence suggest that Tablighis treat the constant flow of visitors produced by the dargah as a means to spread a conservative message (6).

Face of the Sufi Islamist

Leftists and seculars, who in their little heads imagine that Sufis were gentle, long-haired mystics who smoked weed and danced away the night, should know what Nizamuddin Auliya felt about people like them. Toeing the orthodox line, he condemned the Hindus to the fire of hell, saying: “The unbelievers at the time of death will experience punishment. At that moment, they will profess belief (Islam) but it will not be reckoned to them as belief because it will not be faith in the Unseen… the faith of (an) unbeliever at death remains unacceptable.” (7)

Auliya asserted that, “On the day of Resurrection, when unbelievers will face punishment and affliction, they will embrace faith but faith will not benefit them… They will also go to Hell despite the fact that they will go there as believers.” (8)

In his khutba (sermon), Auliya condemned the infidels as wicked, saying, “He (Allah) has created Paradise and Hell for believers and the infidels (respectively) in order to repay the wicked for what they have done.” (9)

During the reign of the cruel and barbaric Sultan Alauddin Khilji, when Qazi Mughisuddin inquired about the prospect of victory in the jehad launched against Hindu kingdoms in South India under the command of Malik Kafur, Auliya uttered in effusive confidence: “What is this victory? I am waiting for further victories.” (10)

Auliya used to accept large gifts sent by Sultan Alauddin from the spoils plundered in jehad expeditions and proudly displayed those at his khanqah (lodge).

The Ganga-Jumna syncretism that low IQ seculars talk about happened only in their dreams. By the mid-13th century when Nizamuddin Auliya settled in Delhi, the seat of Islamic power in India, Sufism had been purged of its mystical and tolerant aspects. Influenced by the unorthodox, controversial doctrines and practices of the famous Arab-Spanish Sufi ideologue Ibn Arabi (d. 1240), Auliya always put the ulema (clergy) as supreme in religious matters. To the question of whether dancing and playing of musical instruments, as had been adopted by Sufi dervishes, were permissible, he said, “What is forbidden by Law (Sharia) is not acceptable.”

On the question of whether the controversial Sufi devotional practices were permissible or not, he said, ‘‘Concerning this controversy at present, whatever the judge (orthodox Ulema) decrees will be upheld.” The Sufis of India had no contradiction with the ulema; both had a common goal – the interest of Islam, but to be achieved through different methods. Auliya used to say, “What the Ulema seeks to achieve through speech, we achieve by our behavior.” (11)

Nizamuddin’s Bigoted Successor

Amir Khasrau (1253–1325), Shaykh Nizamuddin Auliya’s exalted disciple, is lauded as the greatest liberal Sufi poet of medieval India. Auliya gave him the title of Turkullah (The Turk or Soldier of God). Regarded as one of India’s greatest Muslim poets, he is credited with being a great contributor to Indian classical music and the creator of qawwali (Sufi devotional music). There is little doubt about Amir Khasrau’s achievements in music and poetry, but according to historian M.A. Khan, “When it came to the fallen infidels and their religion, his bigoted Islamic zeal was very much evident. In describing Muslim victories against the Hindu kings, he mocks their religious traditions such as tree and stone-idol worship. (12)

Mocking the stone-idols destroyed by Muslim warriors, he wrote: “Praise be to God for his exaltation of the religion of Muhammad. It is not to be doubted that stones are worshipped by the Gabrs (derogatory slang for idolaters), but as stones did no service to them, they only bore to heaven the futility of that worship.” (13)

Amir Khasrau showed delight in describing the barbaric slaughter of Hindu captives by Muslim warriors. Describing Khizr Khan’s order to massacre 30,000 Hindus in the conquest of Chittor in 1303, he gloated: “Praise be to God! That he so ordered the massacre of all chiefs of Hind out of the pale of Islam, by his infidel-smiting swords… in the name of this Khalifa of God, that heterodoxy has no rights (in India).” (14)

He took poetic delight in describing Malik Kafur’s destruction of a famous Hindu temple in South India and the grisly slaughter of the Hindus and their priests therein. In describing the slaughter, he wrote, “…the heads of Brahmans and idolaters danced from their necks and fell to the ground at their feet, and blood flowed in torrents.” (15)

About the miserable subjugation of Hindus and the barbarous triumph of Islam in India, he wrote: “The whole country, by means of the sword of our holy warriors, has become like a forest denuded of its thorns by fire? Islam is triumphant, idolatry is subdued. Had not the Law granted exemption from death by the payment of poll-tax, the very name of Hind, root and branch, would have been extinguished (16).

Amir Khasrau described many instances of barbaric cruelty, often of catastrophic proportions, inflicted by Muslim conquerors upon the Hindus. Nowhere did he show any sign of grief or remorse, only gloating delight. While describing those acts of barbarism, he invariably expressed gratitude to Allah and glory to Muhammad for enabling the Muslim warriors achieve those glorious feats (17).

Another disciple, Nasiruddin Mahmud Chirag-Dehlavi (1274–1337), purged and purified deviant aspects of the Sufi practices. According to professor K.A. Nizami, he prohibited all deviant (from Sharia) rituals and practices that had entered the Sufi community, saying, ‘‘Whatever Allah and his prophet have ordered, do it, and whatever Allah and his prophet have forbidden you against, you should not do.’’ Nizami adds: “He brought Sufi institution in harmony with Sunnah. Wherever there was a slightest clash, he proclaimed the supremacy of the Sharia Laws.” (18)

Conclusion

It is clear that as against the original spiritual mission of Sufism, the cult was primarily introduced in India for the spread of Islam with a view to help the Muslim rulers for political domination. According to Arshad Javed Rizvi of the Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, “By and large the spiritual successors of mystic Islamic saints enjoyed the royal favor of Muslim rulers and gave moral support to the Muslim invaders. They also guided the state in political affairs with their experience of regular interaction with the common people.” (19)

The Tablighi Jamaat is also a cult which pretends to be peaceful while its real agenda is jehad. In view of the radical DNA of their muse Nizamuddin Auliya, the increasing radicalisation of the Jamaat’s rank and file is only to be expected. It is now a driving force of Islamic extremism and a major recruiting agency for terrorist causes worldwide. For a majority of young Muslim extremists, joining the movement is often the first step on the road to extremism. Perhaps 80 percent of the Islamist extremists in France come from Tablighi ranks, prompting French intelligence officers to call it the “antechamber of fundamentalism”. (20)

Across the western border, the movement has gained a strong foothold in the echelons of power. According to the Islamabad-based Pak Institute for Peace Studies, “The Tablighi Jamaat has, undoubtedly, penetrated deep into South Asian Muslim societies, impressing people from all walks of life including rulers, civil and military bureaucracy, businessmen, sportsmen and even members of the showbiz community.” (21)

If not cut down to size, it won’t be long before the various branches of the Tablighi Jamaat in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are emboldened to link up to make a grab for the big prize – the Islamic conquest of India.

Doordarshan started Ramayan again. And Ramayan is really getting a high response by audience. But still, JIhadis and secular are unhappy. I think a good step by the government. It will be great if they can include some of the GRANTH in syllabus also so that the new generation can understand about our culture.

We have been saying all along that the migrant crisis in Delhi is a manufactured one and none other than the Chief Minister is responsible for it.

More and more evidence keeps tumbling out. This is both heartless and criminal...

Well tonight is the 9 minutes at 9 PM. India will officially darken all electric lights while hundreds of millions hopefully will get outside to light a few diyas. A powerful symbol no doubt and hopefully serve as a unifying action for all. However any such good idea is often trashed by the opposition. I expect them to start a few fires and blame it on Modi as to another failed attempt.

Barring a few fires that I feel will be intentionally started, I expect this to be a huge success. Hopefully they can spin the symbolism along the lines of it only takes one small diya to light the whole room in darkness.
That's why we really chose it as the symbol for India Aware and now Bharat Ganrajya. Looking forward to seeing a lot of photographs regarding all of India lighting up. Maybe we can post a few of those photographs right here.

george soros, as well as the chinese, are actively hellbent on undermining India through the various publications that they control

The Guardian’s biased coverage: Calls India’s lockdown ‘brutal’ but deems Britain’s ‘necessary hardship’, urged Trump to impose a lockdown and gives Australia a free pass

While The Guardian was wise enough to recognize that the hardships for the citizenry that the lockdown has brought about was 'necessary' in order to combat the Coronavirus pandemic, it does not afford Narendra Modi the same courtesy.

The Western Media is known to peddle negative propaganda against India. In their bid to undermine the NDA government at the center, they regularly publish reports geared towards tarnishing India’s reputation. Western Media often singles India out for negative coverage even when India does precisely the same as a lot of other countries. It was most prominent during United Kingdom-based The Guardian’s coverage of India’s lockdown.

On Saturday, Twitter use @AnkiitKoomar posted a tweet that showed The Guardian’s headlines for reports or opinion pieces published on its website regarding lockdown in Australia, India and the United States of America. The difference in the newspaper’s headlines for the same policy approach lays bare the stark reality of the media’s slanted coverage of India.

Coronavirus: India enforces an absolute ban on the export of hydroxychloroquine, several nations send requests for supply as global demand rises

Many nations, including SAARC countries, Indonesia, UAE and USA have requested India to lift the ban on the export of hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malaria drug showing promises in the treatment of COVID-19 positive patients.

6 April, 2020
OpIndia Staff

India enforced absolute ban on export of hydroxychloroquine

The government of India had banned the export of hydroxychloroquine back on 25 March as the global demand for the anti-malaria drug surged. Many nations have reported that the anti-malaria drug is showing promises in the treatment of coronavirus infected patients.

After US President Donald Trump advocated for the drug, the global demand had surged. However, Indian doctors have already been using the drug to treat coronavirus infections and the ICMR had recommended the use of hydroxy-chloroquine for high-risk cases, as a preventive measure against COVID-19.

The commerce ministry notification on 25 March had banned the export of the drug except on humanitarian grounds on a case to case basis if approved by the Ministry of External Affairs. The notification, however, stated that exports from SEZ/EOU units may be allowed to fulfil export obligations and in cases where an advance export license has been issued before the notification.

US President Donald Trump had yesterday stated in his White House address that he had requested PM Modi to allow the export of a specific order of hydroxychloroquine tablets.

Soon after the 25 March notification by the Commerce Ministry, the SAARC nations, UAE and Indonesia had requested the Indian government to lift the ban on the export of the drug. Many nations around the world are facing an acute shortage of drugs as the world grapples with the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.

As per reports, apart from SAARC nations, Indonesia UAE and USA, many Latin American and European nations have also requested India to lift the export ban and allow the export of the drug to their respective countries. As many as 30 nations have reportedly requested India to lift the export ban on the drug.

As per a report on the Economic Times, on 27 March, the Department of Pharmaceuticals had asked India’s drug prices regulator to examine if India has enough stocks to fulfil domestic demand as meet export demand as well.

The SAARC nations had reportedly also requested for paracetamol, vitamins, certain hormones and medical equipment.

However, after due consideration, the Ministry of Commerce had on 4 April notified that the ban on the export of hydroxychloroquine will now be absolute and will not be allowed under any circumstances until further notification.

The new notification reads: “The export of hydroxychloroquine, and formulations made from hydroxychloroquine falling under any ITCHS code, including the ITCHS codes mentioned in the notification number 54 dated 25 March 2020, is no longer allowed SEZs/EOUs or any Advanced Authorisation or under the para 1.05(b) of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 or against full advanced payment as specified under para 2 of the notification. The export of hydroxychloroquine, and formulations made from hydroxychloroquine, therefore, shall remain prohibited, without any exception.

It is notable here that India is the largest producer of hydroxychloroquine and its formulations in the world. As the global demand surges, the international pressure on India to lift export ban can be expected to increase. But India’s huge population and the rapidly increasing COVID-19 positive cases in India may prevent India from allowing export under current circumstances

DISCLAIMER: READ THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. The following is an extremely political and possibly politically incorrect piece. I've never really expressed my political views. However, this time, it's a matter of life and death and I think this is of critical importance. If you do land up reading the whole thing and still do not get my point - please do not post your nasty comments here. I don't have the time, energy, mind-space or willingness to engage in a debate with you. If you do not agree with me, you can choose to stay silent or press the unfriend button. I don't mind shedding some toxicity from my Newsfeed. Here goes :

A crises involving life and death, is the best time to judge a person’s intention. For it is at this time that our true nature is revealed.

My findings have been that while large amounts of Indians are brainless trolls, goons and bhakts with an excuse to push their religious or extremists ideas, a large part of the “intellectual” and “woke” community are no better with their mindless and blind hatred for Modi. How do you navigate through extreme ideologies at both ends? How do you make sense of the truth?

Gene sharp is an American Political Scientist who has written several books on how to demolish a government. He has come up with 198 methods on how to bring down a government through non-violent, democratic ways. The movement should talk about peace and democracy but render the govt. non functional to a point it paralyses the machinery. In the end, the systems that add strength to the govt will become ineffective and collapse. Some of these methods have been implemented at Tahrir Square in Egypt - The same thing happened in Ukraine against Russia. Hong Kong for 76 Days - there was havoc!

Some of these methods include - throwing stones at the police and our own security forces, destroying their pathways, blocking the roads, setting fire to fire engines - (what’s used to extinguish fire- burn it first so that everything else burns), placing women and children on the front lines of a protest, acid packets, molotov cocktails (petrol bombs), using the media to run negative campaigns, spread fake news, mislead people and turn our own people against the govt.

When you put this in the context of what is happening in Delhi in the garb of religious riots - it appears as if these are strategic methods to diffuse the govt. Well thought through and premeditated by intelligent, educated, well read, well informed people. Whatever has happened in Delhi is a direct reflection of at least 70-80 of the methods Gene Sharp has listed.

CAA has nothing to do with this.
This has nothing to do with Muslims.

We need to understand that with the size and population of this nation - secularism isn’t even up for question! India has survived the French, Portuguese, British, Mughals and our secular fabric has remain unscarred - what are a couple of Hindutva goons? What is more worrying is that this nation has been looted and has been kept a third world country for decades on end. It has thrived for decades on corruption and dynasty politics. What’s more worrying is intelligent, well read, educated people are buying into misinformation and are being politically swayed.

While I do agree that having the BJP in power has given a boost and sort of twisted entitlement to some religious goons and trolls with vested agendas - the political game that is being played to bring down Modi is even more dangerous to the democratic and secular fabric of this nation. WAY way more dangerous than some religious goons and idiots. Anybody who knows anything at all about leadership would know that the first rule of being a leader is that you carry your team with you no matter how irresponsible or incompetent they are cause that is team work. Anyone who knows anything about being a good team player knows that no matter what your internal issues are, you do not expose your team member for his/her mistakes, you plug the gap and move on.

But why would anyone hate Modi so much? India has survived for decades on corruption and dynasty politics. To illustrate an example from my personal life - my dad moved to Mumbai in 1998 to start his career as a gastroenterologist - he was the pioneer of endoscopic ultrasound in India. He has made his way up from earning Rs. 12,000 a month to owning and running his own dedicated Gastroenterology Hospital in the heart of Mumbai city. But the journey hasn’t been an easy one. Over the years, he has been professionally ostracised, the whole fraternity has turned against him, he has faced death threats and violence, there was an instance where goons were sent to beat up his assistant. Why? Because he was better than the rest? Because he refused to give into corruption and cut practice at the cost of the patient. This is human nature. We do not like to see anyone or anything succeed. Especially if that someone belongs to a small town or lower socioeconomic strata.

The thing with India is, we have never had a leader who represents 90% of India’s population, we have never had a leader who is a Chaiwala, who comes from that socio-economic strata, who understands the General Indian public. Modi understands that for any change in India - we need movements, not laws. A lot of what Modi has implemented in the country, the speed with which things have changed, the way that he has dealt with situations and people is commendable. The only tangible thing that maybe one can poke a hole in right now, is the economy at this point - but drastic measures have been taken and only time will tell if these are truly effective or not. In fact, my financial advisor has said that if there is any economy that will pick up faster post COVID, it’s the Indian economy because it’s 90% self sufficient.

I received a Gujarati audio clip from Dr. Sharad Thaker, an MBBS, MD Doctor and Author in which is talking about a recent pre-COVID conversation he had with Modi. He asked him "What's up these days?" and he says anyone's normal response would have been "I am fine". Modi took a moment and with sincerity and seriousness and responded "Sadhana". So he asked him "What kind of Sadhana?" - to which Modi responded - "Sadhana to gain control over sleep. To reduce the amount that I sleep." He was astounded cause he knows for a fact Modi sleeps only 3-4 hours a day. So he asked him "I've heard you already sleep very little. How much more do you want to reduce the hours that you sleep?" Modi responded in all seriousness "I don't want to sleep at all." People might find this unbelievable but he says "I understand this because I practice sadhana myself and it is possible to gain control over sleep through sadhana. Legend tells us Hanuman never slept." They spoke a lot after that and he asked him another question "But why do you want to do this. What for?" Modi said, "For this nation and the poverty. It's a great nation but we've been looted and I need to fix it. 20 Hours is too little. I need all 24 hours." While saying this, Modi had tears in his eyes and while listening to this, Dr.Sharad had tears in his eyes. They then spoke about Modi's days in the Himalayas and the vision he had - he received a message to not become a Sadhu but instead return to serve the country. Dr. Sharad asked him "There are so many people after your life right now. You're on top of everyone's hitlist. Aren't you afraid." --- Modi said "It's my life's purpose is to serve this nation. Till such point my purpose isn't fulfilled, no one can kill me. And once my purpose is fulfilled, nobody can save me. I'm not afraid of death. I'm here to fulfil my purpose." ---- Dr. Sharad says, "I'm not the sort to blindly follow somebody. When we go out to buy a matka, we knock it a few times to check if it's kaccha or pakka. This isn't a matka. This is man. Who has been knocked several times. Not by one person but by 1.3 billion people and he still stands strong. He's not a kaccha matka. He's not a kaccha man."

While videos and tweets of violent protests erupting in China's Hubei Province amidst the lockdown are being pulled down aggressively by the Chinese Government, videos of Migrant Workers gathered in thousands and tweets criticising the Indian Government continue to flood the internet in unprecedented numbers. If the government is as fascist as you claim they are - would you even have the freedom to do this? It’s been 6 years by the way - if a fascist government had to happen, if that really was the intention, it would have happened by now. A friend from America sent me a voice note this morning. He said “Natashja I’ve seen people criticise the government everywhere. But in India, the level people stoop to is a whole other level.”

The negativity on twitter is crazy. These tweets and posts are trending like never before. Nearly 4.5 Billion people are on the internet, if you mislead them and create a narrative as if the govt. is inefficient, your job is half done. Gene Sharp says that there are a few systems that add strength to the govt and you need to use media to bring them down. It’s no wonder that people have now started to target Sadhguru and various other spiritual organisations - but you can’t really poke a hole in Jaggi’s logic and action for the most part so people resort to cheap tactics. While armchair activists sit on their twitter accounts spewing hate, Sadhguru is still out there doing some fantastic things, changing world policies.

There are enough and more people out there on twitter who retweet like machines without even reading the post just because they’re biased, some get paid to retweet, some are are just interested in the sensational headline - and you know how we humans get when we are operating with a bias like I mentioned in the opening paragraph. A group of 25 influencers is enough to make a tweet trend on twitter. I’ve been observing that these people use the evening and night hours to trend the negative tweets. This is when people in the west wake up - that’s the perception and side of the story they get. Well-meaning intellectuals, college students who stay up late, are the easiest targets - nobody wants fascism, nobody wants religious extremism, nobody wants communal wars, nobody wants bloodshed.

It's day 4 of the lockdown today, India has registered over 1000 cases now. While 4 slum dwellers from 4 different slum clusters in Mumbai have tested positive for COVID, Thousands of Migrant Workers are out on the highway walking back to their Villages, while many others were ferried by DTC buses to the border and abandoned.

India poses a number of problems when trying to tackle COVID primarily because of 1) Educated Illiterates 2) Genuine Illiterates 3) Fake WhatsApp News 4) Biased Intellectuals and 5) Evil Politicians . In his National Addresses over the course of the week, The Prime Minister has begged business owners with folded hands to continue paying their employees and take care of their employees amidst these trying times. Yet videos are surfacing like the woman whose maid was banned from entering the society. She started screaming "Who the hell is going to pay my maid for 3 weeks? Are you going to pay her? Is the Prime Minister going to pay her? She is fine. There is nothing wrong with her. She will come to work." --- unfortunately this is the mindset of many Indian employers and as a result, many migrant workers have been removed from their jobs.

The Prime Minister begged with folded hands on National Television "Please maintain social distance. Stay where you are. Do not go back to your villages.” - and still we have a sea of humans gathered and stranded at the borders of Delhi and UP. So, what went wrong?

One route we can take here is - the government should have could have thought of the fallout before declaring a lockdown. They should have anticipated this, knowing the Indian public. Let’s just accept that. But we were running out of time and it was critical to call for a lockdown at that point in time. It was most certainly the right time in the lifecycle of the pandemic - calling it earlier would have left us fatigued and calling it later would have thrown the situation more out of control than it is right now. Could they have built shelter homes in stadiums to accommodate these migrant workers? Sure, that would have probably been a good idea but after the PM’s address, let’s admit, nobody expected this kind of chaos!

Bearing everything in mind, from the Central Government’s call to lockdown the nation to mobilising medical supplies and equipment at lighting speed to activating economic packages and overall response to the crises seem very well intended. It took China 10 Days to build a 1000 bed hospital. India transformed the Indian Railways into a 6370 bed facility overnight. The preparation and planning that has gone into managing this pandemic in a country like India, is unprecedented in the history of the world.

With regards to these migrant workers, many of them have said that they were misinformed through Fake News, WhatsApp and DTC people that the buses are plying and they’ll be able to get on board from Anand Vihar. Again, Gene Sharp 101 - Rumours were spread and Panic was created to bring the situation to where it is right now.

The Central Government has literally done everything in it’s power, considering the size of the nation, the density of the population and the density of brains of the Indian population to curb this pandemic. But unfortunately, it has been clearly displayed, over and over again in Delhi that there are multiple forces at play in the political scenario who would love to watch the Modi Government fail even if it is at the cost of the citizens and the Nation. This is what is sad —— what is happening today, is a tragedy for politics in India but above all, it is a tragedy for Humanity.

After everything that Modi has done for the nation in the last 1 week despite the multitude of challenges India has in terms of - poor healthcare systems, not enough testing kits, poverty, stubborn indisciplined disorganised public, unscientific idiots; after having gone on International platforms like the G20 Summit to knock sense into monstrous leaders of other nations that "Human lives are more important than the economy" #ModiMadeDisaster is trending on twitter today with people claiming Modi “singlehandedly“ pushed India into stage 3 of community transmission. Everything that is happening in India today is proof beyond a doubt that the opposition is DESPERATE. It’s proof beyond a doubt that they will do EVERYTHING they can to shit on what Narendra Modi has achieved. They will do ANYTHING it takes to bring down Narendra Modi even if it is at the cost of the nation and its people.

I want you to take a moment and let this sink. At a time when people are dying, at a time when it is a matter of life and death. At a time when it is about standing up for your country and saving its life. The opposition has chosen to expose the most vulnerable group of people and use them to bring down Modi.

These are the monsters you voted for. Let that sink.

Boy am I glad today that Amit Shah rigged the damn General Elections! (i.e. if he rigged the elections) I would have probably done the same in his place. If I was leading this this country today, there is no way in hell I’d let monsters like these take control of my nation. Screw democracy! We don’t deserve it. We need a leader who can set things straight.

Today, I’ve understood what it means to be a nationalist. Today, I’ve understood who the real Anti-Nationals are. Today, I’m proud of the leader we have. It takes guts and enormous amounts of grit to stand up to shit like this and still emerge victorious. Today, I am grateful for the steps he has taken to safeguard and prepare India for this pandemic. Today, I am ashamed of myself for not having stood up and spoken about this earlier for fear of what my artsy-fartsy left liberal friends would think. Today, I’m publicly declaring my support for the Modi. Govt.

Call me a Bhakt. Unfriend me. I don’t care.

Lots of cover up I feel ongoing for the Tablighis online it seems. There are multiple reports of Tablighis and hospital settings that are intentionally trying to infect patients as well as ensure the spread of the coronavirus. This can only be termed as a form of biological warfare. Unfortunate that it has come to this but we are trying to make sure that we report such news in entirety. I hate to use the word leftist media. In India I feel it specifically commentates not just left or liberal leaning but unabashedly and virulent anti-Hindu agenda. That funded by political parties with Congress leanings or international agencies then it is no wonder that the majority of Indian media have been successful in such an agenda.

The Tablighis have become a vector for carrying the virus to all parts of India. We can only hope that the lockdown continues to succeed. There also reports that BCG may offer some protection. India being a major pharmaceutical country can also churn out generic medications that are still currently on trial such as hydroxychloroquine and Remdesevir if needed.
Unfortunately, we just don't have the data on such medications at the current time. However in a nothing to lose scenario, we can effectively churn out medications en masse. It is no wonder that even Trump, try to issue have threat with regard to holding back hydroxychloroquine.
India released 30 million samples and I'm sure that we can easily recoup and stockpile much more over the next couple of months if required.

Donald Trump snaps at WHO — and India quietly sidestepped some of its advisories on virus

The public snub to the World Health Organisation (WHO) and a threat to cut its funding is characteristic of Donald Trump, and may not find an echo in New Delhi. However, the fact is when it comes to key aspects of COVID management, the government has politely sidestepped the periodic “advice” from the WHO and, instead, leaned on the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the experience of several state governments — from Kerala and Uttar Pradesh to Rajasthan and Maharashtra. This despite the fact that the WHO has been, like with immunisation, TB and other neglected tropical diseases, closely working with the Centre and states on the novel coronavirus outbreak, and its staff are helping state governments ramp up training and capacity-building.

Most recently, on April 3, the government’s advisory on the use of masks while stepping out of the house was at variance with that of the WHO, which said this should be only for those who are symptomatic, health workers, or caregivers to COVID patients.

That’s not the only point where the government veered off the WHO track.

Consider:

On January 30, WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that WHO did not recommend travel restrictions to China — in fact, it was opposed to such an idea. This despite the fact that the same day, the WHO’s International Health Regulations Emergency Committee raised a global alert on the need for containment, surveillance, detection, isolation, and even contact tracing. By this time, India’s first advisory on avoiding non-essential travel to China dated January 25, was already in place.

Three days after the WHO statement, India advised citizens to refrain from travel to China, a step up from its earlier advisory.

On March 16, Ghebreyesus said that the WHO’s key message is “test test test”. On March 22, ICMR head Dr Balram Bhargava said: “There will be no indiscriminate testing. Isolation, Isolation, isolation.”

Today MP government release 700 crores that were supposed to give IIFA awards. You can see congress mentality here. They were not caring about farmers and another common man of MP.

MP praises MAMA ( Shivraj Chauhan) for his step
