This issue is creating severe polarization.

I now also know many people from so called upper castes, so called, because who exactly can make a clean delineation between upper and lower, who are outraged, angry that their "tax money" is being used to pay off these "reservation types" while their kids struggle for seats.

A new caste divide is emerging and INC-LEFT are doing all they can to perpetuate it.
It is indeed polarizing the country. Problem is no politician can dare speak the truth for it will guarantee a loss in the next election cycle. It is a bitter pill to swallow for Modi and Co., because they know they have to deal with all these freeloaders in order to pursue the larger dream.

India is a unique society with so many facets, so much diversity, so many forces trying to pull it down. It is a miracle we have survived for over a thousand years the way we have. The battle is nearing the end game, I feel, with India's destiny being writ even as we discuss this. It will either all be over in a few months or we will survive yet again with renewed hope for a glorious return to the path our forefathers dreamt of but could not reach. It will be Modi against the rest, one man standing tall against a host of greedy and unscrupulous men and women, determined to bring him down, even if they destroy the nation in the process.
Well said sir. I no longer bother to stay and give detailed explanations for Modi and co to vested interests who pretend to be neutral but are anything but. Either you are with Modi, or not. The crooks, the hinduphobes, the caste obsessed freeloaders, the bigots who count on India turning "their way" can all go to heck. They wont be convinced as they see Modi as a threat to their superiority.

May 2019, I will vote for the right side. And hope whosoever is supporting India does so as well.

It appears that she's still living in the 80s.
She has definitely pushed WB to the 80s for sure.
WB and KL - guardians of hindu dharma. Both now taken over by the asuras, i.e. commies and we are all paying the price.

KL Hindus guardians of Hindu Dharma?. KL Hindus have done didly squat to protect Hindu Dharma. Till the start of 1900s KL (or the areas which are in today's KL) had the most atrocious caste based discrimination in place. There was even a guide on how much steps away should each caste people stand when they meet each other. This even made Swami Vivekananda remark that the place was a lunatic asylum.

It was only through some good social reformation movements that KL is today's KL. The communists try to take credit for the same, but when the reformists actually made some drastic changes in society; the communist party itself was not in existence. We must also note that many first generation leaders of communist parties in Kerala were also high caste Hindus. Communism spread using a top down approach. Many high caste Hindus considered communism as God's gift (for eg: Kerala Brahmins) mainly because their own community was totally s-crewed up and favoured men & rich families.

But what is happening today is that Hindu identity in Kerala is clearly being pushed down in the name of "secularism". Hindus are reminded of the sad history of the past (when caste discrimination & patriarchy was at the highest levels) and then brain washed to become a generation of people with low self esteem and poor self confidence. And this gang is the most eligible for becoming cryptos.

When I meant guardians of dharma, I meant they have done our culture a huge service by keeping Sabarimala, Kalari, Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple running. I guess this explains why some KL Hindus are such hinduphobes. "Hindus are reminded of the sad history of the past (when caste discrimination & patriarchy was at the highest levels) and then brain washed to become a generation of people with low self esteem and poor self confidence. And this gang is the most eligible for becoming cryptos."
I came across one odious idiot called nandasomething Varma based out of the middle East. Full blown commie p-secularist. I am guessing his name implies upper caste origin!

Rehana Fathima, the ‘activist’ known for being a vocal proponent of implementing the Supreme Court’s judgment on allowing women’s entry into the Sabarimala Temple was jailed and had to pay a fine of Rs 2.1 lakh in a cheque fraud case, reports The Week.

The activist, reportedly appeared before the Alappuzha CJM court on 4 February to serve a sentence and pay the fine. A financier had filed a case against her relating to a loan she availed.

The complainant Anil Kumar had loaned Rs 2 lakh to Fathima in 2014. The cheque produced by Fathima towards the repayment of the loan reportedly bounced, prompting Kumar to complain against her.

Previously, she was arrested on 27 November by the Pathanamthitta police, under the Indian penal code (IPC) section 295(a) which pertains to deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings for trying to enter Sabarimala.

The controversial activist also faced expulsion from the Muslim community at the hands of the Kerala Muslim Jama'ath Council for "hurting sentiments of lakhs of Hindu devotees" by attempting to enter the shrine.

Her employer, BSNL had also transferred her and initiated an enquiry against her.

Crowdwisdom (I do not know or understand their methodology), but per them, after budget, BJP is back to its 2014 position in Urban India (46 cities).

In KL they are predicting 20% for NDA. There is show meltdown of the Left. NDA is 15% 2014, 17% 2017 to 20% now. A few more cycles of elections and a few more goof-ups like Sabarimala it will take. That is what happened in WB where they are now predicting 8% for the Left (at their peak it was more than 50% and more than 60% in TP).
From what I heard, Kummanam will be asked to return from Mizoram to contest the Trivandrum LS seat. Maybe other posters like "Sachin" can clarify.

That, along with the wretched depravity of Tharoor and the commies, generates hope for a win at least in Tvm......the 20%+ vote share is not equally spread...in Tvm area it could be much higher.

Lots of theories are floating around, and it is not yet time to say any thing. Unless we really see Kummanam Rajashekaran moving out of his Governor's seat, we cannot predict any thing. Kummanam Rajashekharan is a true devoted RSS cadre and do have a fan following. But he may have to watch his back; when around his BJP colleagues itself. The in-fighting and "crab mentality" in Kerala BJP is really mindboggling.

Yes indeed. From the erst-while ruling class. Like the Kerala Brahmins many of the became staunch communists, perhaps also as a tactic to retain some form social acceptibility. The present head of the Pandalam Royal Family is also a card carrying commie. And now he is whining that the commies are targetting the God who is so close to the royal family; yes the very same commies who had used the palace as a hide out (because in those days no police man dared enter a Royal Palace and search the place). The commies really know how to return past kindness .

All hands on deck then.. will it not be so?! It will be Shivaji and Guru Teg and Maharana Pratap and so on and so forth again. Got to find out how cobwebs have spread over strategy and dust out the cobwebs.

It will be huge effort though with 'international' forces blanking out anything intentionally and rewriting as pagans rebellion against force-internationale-majour of non-evil backing ughbandhan.

Rafale fake news

fake news generated and shared by an Indian newspaper editor by maliciously and selectively clipping the file notings. Manohar Parrikar's noting has deliberately been clipped out in a spiteful manner to draw a preferred but wrong conclusion.

Also, it is seen that Manohar Parrikar's noting has been perused and signed by all the people who raised objections and no objections remain after Manohar Parrikar's noting.

In any other country, this paper would have been shut down and the editor, no matter who he was, would have been fired.

and, our very very famous "editors guild" has no guts to take up this issue.

Benami property of Vadra. How hard is it to establish the email really belongs to Robert Vadra? There must be plenty of people who communicate to him on this email unless he was using this email exclusively for illegal activities.

"The Hindu" self-proclaimed "National news paper" of India is now into fabricating news. It is real sad that BJP does not take this communist rag to the courts, at least when it is found that they are openly lying.

It was always going on, with rags like the NYT and WaPo leading the charge. Here is the latest from the former, a scathing attack on the government over the so-called 'leaked' job report. As usual, the phrase 'Hindu Nationalism' has to be inserted somewhere. Nothing about all the achievements of the government in the past five years. The farticle is written with an agenda of course and the single thrust of the piece is that India's job-status is the worst since 1973 and the implication therefore that the overall economy and the state of the country too must be the same. Predicting this would be the biggest challenge Modi Ji would face in the elections and that it would therefore be 'competitive'.

Who owns the media in India ?

Let us see the ownership of different media agencies.
when i was in india and young journalist working for Goenka group and first time when people started talking about foreign investment i opposed it.
I was against of any foreign investment due to this kind of long-term effects it will have on …country and mass..and Culture and Rape to the country by thoughts of bigots,.
NDTV: A very popular TV news media is funded by Gospels of Charity in Spain Supports Communism. Recently it has developed a soft corner towards Pakistanbecause Pakistan President has allowed only this channel to be aired in Pakistan .
Indian CEO Prannoy Roy is co-brother of Prakash Karat, General Secretary of the Communist party of India . His wife and Brinda Karat are sisters.
India Today which used to be the only national weekly which supported BJP is now bought by NDTV!! Since then the tone has changed drastically and turned into Hindu bashing.
CNN-IBN:This is 100 percent funded by Southern Baptist Church with its branches in all over the world with HQ in US. The Church annually allocates $800 million for promotion of its channel.
Its Indian head is Rajdeep Sardesai and his wife Sagarika Ghosh.
Times group list : Times Of India, Mid-Day, Nav-Bharth Times, Stardust, Femina, Vijay Times, Vijaya Karnataka, Times Now (24- hour news channel) and many more… Times Group is owned by Bennet & Coleman. World Christian Council does 80 percent of the Funding, and an Englishman and an Italian equally share balance 20 percent.
The Italian Robertio Mindo is a close relative of Sonia Gandhi.
Star TV:It is run by an Australian, who is supported by St. Peters Pontifical Church, Melbourne.
Hindustan Times: Owned by Birla Group, but hands have changed since Shobana Bhartiya took over. Presently it is working in Collaboration with Times Group.
The Hindu: English daily, started over 125 years has been recently taken over by Joshua Society, Berne , Switzerland .. N. Ram’s wife is a Swiss national.
Indian Express: Divided into two groups. The Indian Express and new Indian Express (southern edition) ACTS Christian Ministries have a major stake in the Indian Express and latter is still with the Indian counterpart.
Eeenadu: Still to date controlled by an Indian named Ramoji Rao. Ramoji Rao is connected with film industry and owns a huge studio in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Jyothi:The Muslim party of Hyderabad known as MIM along with a Congress Minister has purchased this Telugu daily very recently.
The Statesman:It is controlled by Communist Party of India.
Kairali TV: It is controlled by Communist party of India (Marxist)
Mathrubhoomi: Leaders of Muslim League and Communist leaders have major investment.
Asian Age and Deccan Chronicle: are owned by a Saudi Arabian Company with its chief Editor M.J. Akbar. Gujarat riots which took place in 2002 where Hindus were burnt alive, Rajdeep Sirdesai and Burkha Dutt working for NDTV at that time got around 5 Million Dollars from Saudi Arabia to cover only Muslim victims, which they did very faithfully…Not a single Hindu family was interviewed or shown on TV whose near and dear ones had been burnt alive, it is reported.
Tehelka.com’s Tarun Tejpal regularly gets blank cheques from Arab countries to target BJP and Hindus only, it is said.
The ownership explains the control of media in India by foreigners. The result is obvious.

When print media and TV continuously air systematic venom towards the same culture and country and dumb politicians and common man are blind to see the long-term effects of their actions, Hindus are bound to get demoralized and their young generation will grow up hating its own heritage and culture.

WHO OWNS INDIAN MEDIA? COMMUNISTS, CHRISTIANS or MUSLIMS?

Here is an eye-opening list of linkages of media people in India. As can be seen, it is an incestuous cabal of Communists, Christians and Muslims that is dominating Indian English Media. It is a closed group and Hindus are simply not welcome. Only in India with an 80 percent Hindu majority can this kind of nonsense be accepted by the majority.

Under the current legal framework, its impossible to put a leash on media. Modi simply cannot do anything about it. Guvermand can bring in bills by putting in stringent punishments towards fake news by taking out their licenses to print or air. However it's too late for this term. Hopefully next term.

Giving misleading information is an offence even today, am I right? What is required is a move by common citizens (who cannot be directly connected with any political party) to start filing court cases. And off course the social media is also doing a stellar job here. Naxal Ram's lie was exposed on Facebook within hours. Even the "great con artist" Mo.Fo Hussein was finally made to run away after a large number of court cases came up against him.

I think ModiJi should take his gloves off and go after Rafale fake news peddlers like N. Ram, Ajai Shukla etc. Of course ecosystem will scream fascism, vendetta etc, but that needs to be weathered. Pretty sure ecosystem will seek international intervention, but that too is fine, it will be a nationalistic issue then.

But one thing troubles me is that according to Minhaz Merchant's following article, roughly 54% believe there is Rafale 'corruption'. This is the reason Congoons continue to flog a dead horse

https://www.dailyo.in/politics/rafale-c ... 29365.html

A recent television survey revealed that, contrary to popular perception, 54% of the respondents polled believe that alleged corruption in the Rafale fighter jet deal would be a key issue in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

Of course we all know that false/misleading of news is punishable, but all these years not a single media spokie or media holders/barons have faced the justice. There's the disconnect which I don't understand. I don't necessarily think its a case of missing action of common citizens. We have seen how PILs being filed by NGOs over other issues. Gurus over here can explain why there's a disconnect between.

So the VDP poll is the first one this year to have been done twice. In Jan, NDA 225 and in Feb, 242. Since they give no error analysis, it is not clear if it is significant in view of the vote share error margin. One has to wait for the next couple of months to see if there is a definite trend.

Dr Praveen Patil
@5Forty3
Feb 7

The general consensus among diverse section of hyperlocal intelligentsia is that BJP is currently stuck at 220 MP seats.
About 5 years ago at this juncture, the consensus was stuck at 180 MPs for Modi, but actual voting pattern pushed the tally towards 280... and this time?
Let us see if he is able to train his analytics-based model for better predictions.

I don't think his model will work in India where voters change every 100 kms. Maybe in the US.

(Do not) click on that link and you will see that it is a "The Print" article quoting a Congress Party "Door-to-door" Survey. Not a Television Channel and there is NO mention of 54%. Congress apparently "found out" that only 50% of Indians are aware of the Rafale issue and 85% of them believe something is fishy. Assuming these "findings" are accurate, Congress game plan would be to try and make sure the other 50% are aware of the Rafale issue.

At times, I am unsure if Minhaz Merchant himself is neutral or anti-Modi. He is very pessimistic on Modi's prospects in every article and is often critical of Modi on even these fake campaigns.
