a bit worried about results of state elections.....RW minded journos like Kanchan Gupta, Merchant looked tense in studio. RJ is given to Con by pidis with MP & CH poised for even contest.

Awright Dawgs,

It be Decemba 10 eve (USA)/11 morn (India).

Praise be to Lawd Ram! Dat day of reckoning hath come upon us yet again. One more battle in da War to save Bharatvarsh from the asuras. 'Tis Kaliyuga, one must choose one's side before da Lawd cometh.

Zee News has the fastest lead updates...looking all right so far.

*Ornob has the fastest talkers on Republic TV, but for data he is stuck with the C-Voter guy...way too slow.

Local channels show RJ going to INC and MP on the way to a INC government.

Early days but the signs aren't good for BJP

All the anti Jinx in the world will not help with hubris demonstrated by BJP in RJ. Raje should have been sacked a long time ago, I'm surprised she got elected for so long. I hope they fire her now, at least

Based on what channels are showing, BJP won't be forming the govt in any of the states.. let's hope that's not the final outcome

Keep the faith guys. The ship is slowly turning in RJ and MP. Postal ballots should be done and EVM results are coming in. Sanatan Dharm ki jai.

Chattishgarh - BJP 30/49 leads.
MP - close. neck and neck.
RJ - Cong comfortably ahead.
TG - TRS comfortably ahead.

Added Later: Seems to be old. Please disregard.

Where are you getting the figures from? Toilet paper shows completely different figures. 14/46 is the score they show

Chattisgarh seems to be a rude surprise. Congoons are getting an overwhelming lead.

This is as good as a lost cause. The signs were everywhere but BGR Jingos refused to see them.
Some of the oldies were right in 2014 that you can not write off congress so easily. There was nothing to replace congress in these states and BJP's rule was becoming like law of diminishing returns.
BJP had a good run in MP and CG but like every good thing, This too has come to an end.
RJ, I don't know if some other leader would have done a better job but it is time to retire all 3 CM's after a wonderful innings.
Let new CM faces prop up for 2023.

PS: The battle for Delhi just became stiffer after Dec'2018. I hope this is not Panipat of Hindvi Samraj.
Time for Singha to write another story.

Well in a country like India, where there are so many divisions (religion, Verna, etc etc), Vikas alone isn't going to cut it. BJP needs to play the divisions and heal it over time.

Secondly, after demonitisation and GST, they needed to cut income taxes. But Bruce Lee thought he was above reproach. I'm not saying both of those weren't needed, they were.. but you need to placate people with something in a democracy..

MH is another state BJP will lose in the next state election, Fernandez has become the Vasundara of the state. Don't be surprised when they do.

God help us if people are stupid enough to not vote BJP in 2019.. if they vote against BJP this country is doomed and rightly so.

SuSwamy said it best - "Vikas is an essential but not sufficient condition for re-election". He has the last laugh.

From this point forward, ANYTHING Modi does, including the legitimate prosecution of Mallya and Michel, will be painted as vendetta and desperation.

Looks like "Amit Shah Magic" is now over. Chattisgarh was kind of expected to have a BJP win, and even there BJP is getting trounced. After a close battle, MP may also go the INC way. TRS and MNF etc. are never in the BJP camp (at best they are allies). So sooner or later they may support INC if they see BJP as a losing horse.

Main stream media was never supportive of Modi any ways. But Amit Shah and Modi will have to do some extra home work from now on. Looks like what ever game plans they have in mind now requires a relook. This major victory would be a morale booster for INC (and for their lesser minions in the "secular" camp). A.Shah and N.Modi can still say that this was a "battle lost to win the war (of LS 2019)"; but don't think there would be many takers for such thoughts. Right from KA elections BJP strategies all seems to be backfiring.

If the circumstances don't change significantly for the 2019 LS poll, how many LS seats is BJP likely to lose (the ones that it won in 2014)? My guess: 35 (MP, CG, RJ), 35 (UP, BH), 10 GJ, 5 KA. Where can it significantly improve its tally? can't think of any. Not much scope for improvement in MH as they already have 41 out of 48 (with SS). In fact, they may lose some there too.

BJP may still end up being the single largest party with about 180-190 seats plus max 30 from current allies. They need to bring in SP, BSP and the biggest winner in TN, post poll. Post poll, they may be able to pull in TRS and YCP for another 30 seats if they are close to the halfway mark.

We need to see who would win the seats in which BJP loses. Will INC get all these seats (which makes them the single largest party to claim forming government) or will they all get gobbled by small time parties, who will then form a khichdi government. I think GoI asking for more funds from RBI is also an indication that BJP has realised that the "market & economy conditions" are now not doing good for traders (who are also a vote bank of the BJP).
