Just to add to this, I remembered the controversy as posed by Modi in mentioning the Ramayan written by Guru Gobindji, it completely split the Sikh community in half...those Sikhs who would chose to ally with Ram...and the zealots who choose not too...
We need to strengthen those Sikhs who do chose to embrace us...I myself occasionally have shouted the warrior cry...Sat Sri Akal...Bol So Nihal!...as my mind rages through the history of battles....

I was sure that he was following some gora's vacuous transplanted ideas and without any relevance of the social applicability or even the cultural fit of these impressions that he is peddling.

To constantly accuse Modi of corruption and partisanship with favoring alleged business "cronies" doesn't gell with the people.

people still identify the congis with massive corruption, a reputation that the congi state govts are faithfully upholding, both in letter and spirit

#OPINION: Rahul Gandhi's recent statements on China, farmers’ issues show he is following the advice given to him in 2012 by Stephanie Cutter, who was part of Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, writes @rasheedkidwai

Advice of Obama's Campaign Manager on Mind, is RaGa Gearing Up to Return as Congress President?

FEBRUARY 15, 2021

Rahul Gandhi's recent statements on China, farmers’ issues show he is following the advice given to him in 2012 by Stephanie Cutter, who had served as a deputy campaign manager in Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.

Rahul Gandhi is making a concerted bid to return as the 87th president of the AICC or the All India Congress Committee. The attempt to take centre stage in Parliament, on farmers’ issue, China and a range of other subjects indicates the young Gandhi’s intent to become a polarizing figure, instead of a popular face, against Narendra Modi.

This was an advice offered to him way back in 2012 when Stephanie Cutter, a reputed political consultant who served as a deputy campaign manager in Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, had visited his 12, Tughlaq Crescent office-cum-residence. The UPA was then in power and Rahul Gandhi somehow could not follow Cutter’s guidance.

Also bracing for a bigger and visible role is Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Rahul-Priyanka duopoly is set to replace the now nearly defunct Sonia-Rahul power equation that was largely steered by late Ahmed Patel and Motilal Vora. In Rahul Gandhi’s scheme of things, Priyanka is likely to play the multiple roles that were performed by Patel and Vora—acting as an interface between the leader (Rahul) and party, a crisis manager, a listening post, and an effective number two. There is a growing viewpoint in the Congress that Priyanka Gandhi’s ‘Mission Uttar Pradesh’ has outlived its utility. Contrary to a perception perpetuated by a section of media, Priyanka Gandhi had not harboured any ambition to be a leader or a chief ministerial nominee in Uttar Pradesh.

In Priyanka Gandhi’s scheme of things, if and when the Congress succeeds in Uttar Pradesh, incumbent UPCC (Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee) chief Ajay Kumar Lallu would be bestowed with the fruits of his labour, sacrifice and grit. In doing so, she hopes to set an example of how regional satraps can be built, nurtured and rewarded. As a student of Congress’ contemporary history, Priyanka Gandhi is well aware that the ‘good old days’ of the grand old party can only be revived if the likes of Ajay Lallu are found across the length and breadth of the country, in every state, district and taluka.

Well, it sure looks like the guys like f(ukerberg, jack on crack and some others of the SM owner's gang are hell bent on screwing themselves.

they seem to have mistaken pussy politicos in america to be the global norm as regards kowtowing to these billionaire owned social media kingdoms.

these owners ill treated trump and deplatformed him because they were allowed to do so by the woke left in the US which had its own axe to grind.

now, there are many other countries that are just waiting for these ameriki big tech companies to set a collision with them just like that iceberg was waiting for the titanic on that cold, dark and fateful April night in 1912.

titanic 0, iceberg 1

That result should have forewarned these big tech social media companies of what is waiting for them.

Times have changed. Sovereign nations and their national laws can and will trounce, beat out and vanquish such arrogant ameriki media giants, no matter how big.

They never expected nations to gang up on them and out flank them and do exactly what the iceberg did to the titanic, the "unsinkable" ship.

Amazon may well be the next international target.

‘We will not be intimidated’: PM takes Facebook fight to India and the world

Global leaders will be asked to back Australia in a fight with Facebook over its market power after the social media giant silenced news, health and emergency services in a bid to halt a federal law.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison raised the shock tactic with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Thursday night in the first step of a plan to mobilise global support to stop Facebook “bullying” elected governments.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has spoken to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi about Facebook’s decision to ban news links in Australia.

The government thinks Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg will resume talks on the law despite his sudden move to shut down content for millions of his own customers, but it is also preparing for a drawn-out battle if needed.

“They may be changing the world, but that doesn’t mean they should run it,” Mr Morrison said of big tech companies on Thursday, posting his comments on Facebook.

“We will not be intimidated by this act of bullying by BigTech, seeking to pressure parliament as it votes on our important News Media Bargaining Code.

“I am in regular contact with the leaders of other nations on these issues. We simply won’t be intimidated, just as we weren’t when Amazon threatened to leave the country and when Australia drew other nations together to combat the publishing of terrorist content on social media platforms.”

Loading

Facebook on Thursday banned the sharing of news from media companies in Australia, but also removed posts from the Bureau of Meteorology, state health departments, fire and rescue services, charities, and crisis services such as Suicide Prevention Australia, 1800Respect and Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence.

The company, which has 17 million users in Australia, responded to a barrage of complaints by conceding it had blundered and promising to restore “inadvertently impacted” pages.

“Facebook’s actions to unfriend Australia today, cutting off essential information services on health and emergency services, were as arrogant as they were disappointing,” Mr Morrison said in his post.

”These actions will only confirm the concerns that an increasing number of countries are expressing about the behaviour of BigTech companies who think they are bigger than governments and that the rules should not apply to them.“

Loading
Mr Morrison took plans to regulate social media to a G20 summit in Japan and a G7 meeting in France in 2019, when the Christchurch attack in March that year sparked calls to stop the spread of violent terror content.

The Prime Minister signalled he was willing to repeat the exercise if needed this year when he attends the G7 summit hosted by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Cornwall in June with leaders from Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The proposed law, which mandates a bargaining code to force Google and Facebook to pay media companies for using their content, is being watched by these countries and the European Union as a precedent in regulating social media.

Labor voted to support the bill in the House of Representatives on Wednesday night, clearing the way for it to pass the Senate and become law as early as next week.

Labor leader Anthony Albanese said Facebook’s actions were “reprehensible” but the government had a responsibility to tell Australians what the next steps would be.

Mr Morrison’s talks with Mr Modi, conducted by phone on Thursday afternoon, raised concerns about Facebook and its power when the company is seeking help from the Indian government in a huge market.

“Decisions that are made here shape the global discussion,” Mr Zuckerberg told Indian business executives in December in a pitch to expand the company’s Whatsapp business app, which has 30 per cent of its global users in India.

Australian Human Rights Commissioner Edward Santow rebuked Facebook for depriving users of public information including health and emergency updates.

“Freedom of expression includes the right to speak and to receive information,” Mr Santow wrote.

Facebook’s Australia and New Zealand managing director, William Easton, said in a blog post early on Thursday morning the decision had been made because the proposed code “fundamentally misunderstands” the relationship between the platform and publishers.

“It has left us facing a stark choice: attempt to comply with a law that ignores the realities of this relationship, or stop allowing news content on our services in Australia. With a heavy heart, we are choosing the latter,” Mr Easton wrote.

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg, who spoke to Mr Zuckerberg on Thursday morning, said he had been given no warning of Facebook’s decision.

“We’ll see if we can reach some clarifications and get them back to the table and keep them
providing their service here in Australia. But our commitment, our number one commitment, is to legislate this code,” Mr Frydenberg said.

Loading
Communications Minister Paul Fletcher held a video conference last week with his counterparts from France, Canada, Germany and Finland to discuss regulating social media giants.

Google threatened to exit Australia over the media code but later struck multi-million dollar deals with major Australian publishers, including Nine Entertainment Co, which publishes this masthead, for the use of their content.

Facebook was in talks with publishers in recent days but the negotiations stalled due to concerns about code’s penalties that could see the platforms fined up to 10 per cent of revenue for non-compliance.

Media publishers including Nine, News Corp and the ABC, also criticised Facebook’s decision.

was waiting for just this to happen

all three "allies" in the MVA are/were desperately hoping that the BJP could/would be conned into taking over the MAH govt (all the while feigning their "unity" and the boasting the grand success of their motheaten "agadi") thus allowing them to mitigate/escape the anti incumbency that will surely affect their electoral prospects.

one party has even made multiple attempts to enter into a coalition with the BJP, willingly forsaking the other two, in exchange for legal relief and a couple of heavyweight ATM ministries at the center.

The corona noose is tightening relentlessly around their scrawny necks and none of the three has the faintest clue on how to tackle the pandemic situation

Interesting interviews by Metro man SreedharanJi on his decision to join BJP. In his first interview to NDTV, it was no holes barred. He unequivocally defended legislations against Love Jihad and in fact cited the rampant harassment of Hindu (and he said even Christian) girls by pissfuls in Kerala. He also categorically said BJP is a party of nationalists. And finally, he defended his stance that as a strict vegetarian, he is against eating meat.

But a little later, he gave an interview to that pompous supercilious self-centered bimbo Burqa Bibi, and in that that interview, he pushed back against questions on love jihad. He said he will not talk about it, and will only focus on development.

So something happened between the 2 interviews. My gut feel is that since BJP needs a foot hold in Kerala, and he is very popular with all sections, either he got a call from BJP big-wigs to go slow on love Jihad and beef in a state like Kerala with so many pissfuls and even many Hindus eating beef. Or he himself, the smart dude that he is, quickly realized that politics is not practiced as per the laws of physics that he is used to. In fact, what he himself will quickly realize is that he needs to very quickly eschew the very media outlets to whom he gave interviews: UndY and Burqa types. They will destroy him.

But either way, I am enjoying the libarandu meltdown after SreedharanJi's decision to join BJP and his first interview.

Eleven Terror Accused Committed Dacoity In Bengaluru To Fund ‘Maal E Ganimat’ Activities, Says NIA

Eleven Terror Accused Committed Dacoity In Bengaluru To Fund ‘Maal E Ganimat’ Activities, Says NIA

Snapshot
NIA files chargesheet before a special court against members of a Bangladesh-based terror outfit over dacoities in silicon city Bengaluru.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday filed a chargesheet against 11 terror accused for carrying out dacoities in Karnataka’s capital city Bengaluru to fund their terror activities.

While 10 of them are from Bengal, one of the accused is a native of Assam and have been operating under the banner of the banned outfit Jammaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

According to a release issued by the central agency, the main accused Jahidul Islam/Kausar disclosed all the hideouts of the terrorists and identified shops where they had procured the weapons to carry out the dacoities and the houses attacked for the purpose.

Kausar has been charged with promoting activities of JMB in India and is also one of the prime accused in the serial blasts that took place in Bangladesh in 2005. He is also said to be an accused and the main conspirator in the Bodh Gaya as well as the Burdwan blast cases.

The accused raised funds under the banner ‘Maal E Ganimat’ and committed dacoities in four places in Bengaluru. Two places in Attibele and one each in K R Puram and Kothanur were targeted from February to April in 2018.

The accused are: Nasir Sheikhalias Paula Anas(25), Asif Ikbal alias Nadem(23), Jahidul Islam alias Kausaraged(40), Kader Kazi alias Mijanur Rahaman(33), Habibur Rahman SK alias Talha(28) Mohammed Dilwar Hossain alias Umar(28), Musta Fizur Rahman alias Asadullah (27) Abdul Karim alias Karim SK (21) Mosaraf Hossain alias Hossain(22) from West Bengal and Arif Hussain alias Mota Anas (24) from Assam.

The release said that the key accused Kausar is a Bangladeshi national and has been involved in promoting the activities of the JMB in India. The investigations have revealed the ‘broad network forged by JMB terrorists in India for committing terrorist and subversive activities by procuring arms and explosives, recruiting youth and conducting training camps’.

The same organisation, which has been banned in Bangladesh since 2005, is said to have helped the two members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) arrested in Lucknow on Tuesday to arrange for explosives and firearms to carry out terror activities across Uttar Pradesh and the country.

Reports say, Asad Badruddin and Feroz Khan, both residents of Kerala who were arrested from Lucknow’s Gudamba area, visited Bangladesh and sought the help of JMB to procure explosives to trigger blasts in India.

The Anti-Terrorism Squad booked them for illegal possession of explosives, firearms and waging war against the country after the special task force of the UP Police recovered 16 high explosive devices with battery detonators, a pistol and live cartridges.

CRamS,

I think that what we can see is a clearly defined strategy when it comes to elections over the next couple of months. Expect I think quite a few Rath Yatras in many of the states. I’m not quite sure what liberal really means in India, but I think I will say that anti-Hindu Abrahamic, (aka BIF forces) will try to holler at the top of their voices with regard to BJP expanse.
Of course, this is completely a blind about turn for BIF forces with regard to Christianization or Islamization of certain states such as Kerala and West Bengal.

E Sreedharan must’ve seen this change happening in his own lifetime over a span of 88 years. While he may be a fantastic organizer as well as builder of several metro projects around India, I have to admit that while he now yearns for the Kerala CM post, at 88, whether this will be ever something within his reach.

I think anything past their lone seat in Kerala right now will be seen as an advantage. Unfortunately, Kerala has hundreds of years of Christianization and Islamization to overcome.

Especially over the last few years the Jihadi influence has been especially prominent with dozens of young youths disappearing to the ISIS war overseas. Kannur district seems to be the snake’s nest. These kinds of events I am sure would have shaken someone like E Sreedharan to finally take the plunge. What I can only hope is that he will be a steppingstone to perhaps a younger more dynamic leader that can take on the fight into the next decade.
However, the bugle has been sounded. He is the well-known face to lead the Reconquista, back into Kerala while close on his heels comes Yogi with the Ratras.

Abrahamic forces (aka BIF), have constantly tried to show the only card that they can. They can claim no proof on love Jihad, but the end of the day the ground evidence is only overwhelming as numerous young lives are lost to this psychological plague.

Pappu clearly feels the heat as Puducherry has fallen and Gujarat election results as above. His statements in Kerala are glaring. Not a North South issue at all, but speeches in Wayanad clearly show that this "Janeu Brahmin" is seeking solace in constituencies that are overwhelmingly Muslim and then Christian.

He will look to play this card increasingly and may gain increasing mileage among these constituencies...in Kerala, Andhra and Tamil Nadu as he looks to build a new base among recently converted.

He will play to Hindu concious and consistently raise the bogey of BJP-RSS. Coming to power expect massive state and godforbid central funds for Church and Mosque building...while beaming secularism.

Late at night after a long day of taqqiya he asks he father to forgive him...for the next day will require more strength to take on the "heathen"...

A massive step I feel with regard to Modi taking the Covaxin vaccine as a first step before any other vaccine. Maybe he needed to with regard to all of the talk about Covaxin not completing phase 3 trials. However I feel that this already gives us an idea as to the efficacy of what Covaxin may hold. We should get the results by next week. My hope is that it will come out to be more effective than the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
If this is the case what he has done is effectively save tens of thousands of lives by initiating the vaccine series even before phase 3 trial results were completed.
