Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

That is such an overused argument. Even at independence, other than gandi and bandit, everyone was cast aside. Are you really going to tell me that after fighting for independence for over 100 years, voters had no option but a crypto and a womaniser? Why didn't these voters who had no choice of cand...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

I still don't understand how RaGa is seen as a leader by Leftists. That dude has literally zero accomplishments & track record as a politician. Has he ever been to an "office" for a few months straight? I am speaking here out of pure ignorance, but I would like to know if RaGa wakes up early in the...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

The whole discussion around whether Rahul is Hindu or not is ridiculous, to say the least. Agree with most of what you are saying. My point is simply this: religion should not matter in politics as long as the person is a true patriot and as long as they do not deceive the voting public of their re...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

The whole discussion around whether Rahul is Hindu or not is ridiculous, to say the least. The only people confused are Hindus who don't know their culture. Calling oneself a Hindu is as useless as calling oneself a sportsman without affiliation with a sport. Rahul's gand claims to be a brahmin. Let...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Long term objective of dharmics in India should be to do massive ghar wapsi. Or in another 100 years, we are looking at our own civil war. There is no long term. In the long term, we're all dead. The breeding rates combined with conversions, hindu's obsession with secularism and their insecurity wi...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

While I agree with the assessment that pulwama has bettered NMs odds, I think he should be very careful and not complacent. Not only on the politics side, but on terrorism. Congoons might ask their buddies across the border to try something bigger to make Modi look bad. This is where we are at now. ...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

There is an interesting interplay in these events which is missed by hyperenthusiastic commentators. The use of Air Force in foreign airspace is considered an act of war. Which is why using IAF in Pak was essentially an act of war, something that was not done even during Kargil conflict. Pakis, as ...

Guys, my take is that India is in this all alone. I think 'international community' has made some noises, but I don't think those noises should worry TSP too much. Now vernaculars are stirring up noise about vegetable prices rising because of stopping imports from Pak.

Sick people, they don't mind funding the enemy as long as it serves them with cheap imports. And then people want to believe India will be the next superpower.

Re: Social Media Thread

All very good questions saar. At least Khujliwaal has become a laughing stock now - but that too after gaining 67 out of 70 seats in the assembly. Makes you wonder how easy it is to sway the abdul on the street with some baksheesh. You would think that, but believe it or not, there are still people...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

On another note, how come the EC hasn't declared the election dates yet?

The new parliament needs to be in place by may 21st. That means there is about 3 months to vote and count.. and with the long drawn out phasing of polling that happens with general elections, it feels a bit late.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

On a less facetious note, in LS 2014 BJP contested 427 seats (and won 282, a 66% success rate). As far as LS 2019 elections, they are almost upon us. There is now no question of "building voteshare". Obviously building vote share takes time, I was talking about longer time. But then again, common s...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

I am happy that BJP is making alliances, but the BJP needs to increase its own vote share and decrease it's reliance on allies. Today's allies are tomorrow's does. Nitish is a prime example, that snake will bite whenever he feels it'll help him, just as all the allies
