Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017
it is quite a reach to get from "our nation was rich but still we got enslaved" to "we should prioritize hindutva over development" .. when we know that the major driver of conversion by a long distance, is abject grinding poverty. Even more than caste based discrimination. No middle-class 'so-call...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017
All the wealth of India didn't stop us from being enslaved, so keep aside NM will ONLY do economic development, and it's enough. Just money will not guarantee any internal security in a country. So economic development alone is not enough in an Indian context. Correct. All the wealth did not stop u...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017
Oh I see, so any accused can be murdered and nobody should speak about it is it? I thought NM doesn't run a feudal society. By your same logic why did he speak against gaurakshaks then? After all, they were punishing those "accused" of cow smuggling? If Modi only highlights this murder, then he wou...

He gave zee interview hours after ABVP guy was killed in Kerala. Not one word on that, he was all smiling and carrying on with his personal marketing and self appraisal. Re: Nukkad
Sorry for the Econ stuff here mods :) Take your revenge here. Regarding SoKo, IIRC they spent almost 20% of their GDP on education during initial years, even now, their expenditure on education is very high > 7%. How much we do? Ours has been plagued by subsidies, doles etc. If we had spent similar...

protests were mostly vaishnavas, iyengars and some followers from other communities. if you think this is enough for "indic consolidation in TN"...i have dozens of bridges to sell. OK, I didn't know the composition of the protesters, hence asked, because a handle "avarakai" in twitter was saying in...

Re: Cricket
Pujara was listening to Kohli's advice and ran himself out is silly enough, Pandya's even more. Can hear the anger in Sunil Gavaskar's voice when he is said that's unpardonable.
Re: Cricket
And what do you call Pandya's run out?
Re: Cricket
Well 2 top batsmen run out cost us many runs. Could have played for a draw at the min if we have good lead. But I think will be difficult to save the game, they are already 120 runs ahead with wickets.
Re: Cricket
Don't we have any other athletic keeper batsman? 2003 Sydney test was not won because of this useless patel. Today he "well left" a catch. How many matches he has cost us. Really need to look for another keeper.
