Remember the hungama about 3T bill? Not all bills are same. We must understand this. I wish NaMo puts a pro-Hindu bill li...

^ Passing IAS exam is no way an indication an individuals intellect or intelligence. Passing the interview process ensures that the candidate is "secularized" enough. Sinha joined IAS in 1960. In those days only certain kind of social strata could make to IAS; due to the access and training they get...

Not sure about Chandan Mitra's qualification, but Yashwant Sinha, 3 time finance minister, 1 time external affairs minister, seems amply qualified, more qualified than most of the jokers in the govt. NaMo Sarkar wins confidence vote 325 to 126, i.e. a 72% majority. If he gets a 67% majority in parliament he can amend constitution (Article 370) and do many other things that are currently not being done. The two are different issues. We cannot translate 325 votes for any/every legislation. More o...

SC is likely to give judgement in favour of total freedom for women to go to Sabarimala as it is an issue of gender equality. Before people start to howl it is upto the women to decide if they want to violate the rules of the temple. Most women who are devotees will follow the rule and women who ar...

Why is this? The M/F ratio is in KL is supposed to be the 'best' in India (i.e. more females than males) as far as I know. Is it because of some religious-type reasons? Or is it a case of people from other states coming to KL for brides? About 5-7 years ago, I had read an article about Haryana stat...

If Sushma Swaraj basked in the glory of being a twitter MEA, then she deserves all the abuse and more for her mess up. If her excuse that she is out of country and didn't act, then she should fire her twitter manager and the officer who acted secularly. Unless she does this publicly, she is a culprit.
