Cong mulling to go solo in 2019 UP polls . So finally looks like the hype of Mahathugbandhan is busted. Dragging cabinet expansion an 'act of insult': Patil . There is absolutely no news on HCU elections. I even googled for the results, no confirmed news. Where as social media is showing that ABVP has won with a huge margin!!

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 2 (Mar 2018 - )

Finally something that was long awaited by everyone including Arun Jaitley supporters. Well, two prominent "secular" states have said that they are not going to reduce the price further. Let the evil Sanghies do that in their states. HDK refuses to reduce tax on fuel - in Karnataka Kerala won’t red...

jallikattu state ordinance worked because the relevant law was in concurrent list so state can pass ordinance and center can approve it If it requires a state ordinance all the better. Back to pure politics again.. 1) Assembly polls: Maya dumps Cong in MP, Rajasthan . So looks like in RJ if BJP still lose, it is clearly because of the "excellent ruling" by the incumbent govt. Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 2 (Mar 2018 - )

BJP should do with Sabarimala what it did with jallikattu. Bring in ordinance/law. This will give it some traction in KL. To be brutally honest, I don't think any BJP leaders from Northern India knows Ayyappa, and also the unique concept behind Lord Ayyappa @ Sabari Mala alone. It is only at Sabari...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 2 (Mar 2018 - )

To me Nana Patekar looked like a dark and petty character for inflicting such indignities on a 21 or 23 yr-old girl (which TD age then) and she also had no godfathers in industry and neither belonged to any filmy family. And looks like at that time Nana Patekar was also the blue-eyed boy of the Bol...

When it comes to Sabarimala, I appreciate lilo for giving me the background it comes to this unique Temple. However with such restrictions in the case of the Supreme Court it really was doomed to fail. Nobody would've understood the brahmachari concept. For that the listeners should come with an op...

The BIF has the knack of identifying the key elements which unite Bharat and targeting them via a willing Supreme Court - i dont think Hindus/PIF must give them a walkover . Excellent post. In any case, why should the courts intervene to decide individual temple rules if it doesn't affect law and order in that state which is principal concern no? From what I glean from social media. As I had suggested earlier the courts are going to see Sabarimala only from the angle of gender justice. So this judgement is not surprising. I don't know why there is so much rona-dhona. if rafale was getting traction, the rest of the opposition would have bandwagoned.. But it would be better to shut up the non-sense on this once and for all. One thing I have observed is that right from 2014 it is the opposition which has been laying IEDs with the able support of the main stream media. T...
