https://postcard.news/68-journalists-writers-and-bureaucrats-given-2-5-lakh-month-to-write-against-pm-modi-through-cambridge-analytica/ So while Democrats hammer Trump for Russian interference in US elections when none existed, here BJP is hardly raising any voice against Congress for so blatantly ...

Even if NDtV is shutdown, it will morph into something else. BIF don't need worry as there will be many takers as long as they bring in moolah. Kapil Sibals Harvest TV is gonna be around now.

Have Congoons and their najayaz aulads (SP/BSP/TMC/DMK) have always complied with Supreme Court orders? They have flouted on several occasions.

https://www.mynation.com/news/bjp-shiv-sena-alliance-equal-seats-maharashtra-pm1dxg According to this news, SS and BJP have struck a deal for equal seat sharing with room to accommodate smaller allies. Its not announced officially yet though. Good move by SS for coming down its high horse. They had...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )
Of course, not to take away credit from Modi's work as CM.. that helped too, because GJ was/is much better governed for years before Modi's ascension. People expected magic in 5 years. IMHO, Modi did do magic. Absolutely he did. He turned around the empty government treasury and filled it up by rec...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )
That 'Indira look' factor will never work for following reasons: New voters won't even know what is that all about. Even if new voters were to buy in the media song 'look she looks like Indira', they would be more likely to be influenced by their immediate elder relatives who knew Indira. Negatively...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )
We also need to understand one more thing - one of the most important factor for BJP winning LS2014 was because of unpopularity/corrupt rule of Congress. This was more than Modi's popularity (regardless of his achievements as Guj CM). We are continuing to see more of such Congress unpopularity recen...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )
Shows the long standing perfidy of the britshits and the amerikis, without conscience or an iota of gratitude for the sacrifices of the Indian people and her soldiers in the two great wars. No matter what they say now, this is the true genetic nature and the inherent national character of these two...

Hindu Friends from Kerala in department reflect what the issue is on ground. They lampooned BJP and Hindutva. Good move. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/up-to-impose-0-5-gau-raksha-cess-to-protect-stray-cattle/articleshow/67342357.cms That's indeed a good move. I used to call him an " Avtari purush " now I think he is just another political thug. On my assessment of his promises and del...

2019 is going to be a BIG loss for Modi & company. Today, Aaj tak reported announcement of SP and BSP alliance on Mayawati birthday as per it's sources. If this happens , BJP will struggle to get even 20 seats. Forward castes will either abstain , choose NOTA or many will go with thug bandhan. BJP ...

2019 is not just any election. Its nothing short of war as AS had pointed it out recently. It's civilization at stake. Winning matters the most, even if economy takes brunt of it. If people want doles, so be it.

Damn...you beat me on this one.
However, there's a point to be noted: Haryana Election Commission had decided to treat NOTA option as a 'fictional candidate', making it must for winning candidates to secure more votes than those cast for NOTA.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )
I think despite independence, India still does not have freedom to elect its own mandate. In this case, BJP. Foreign powers will do whatever they can, to bring in client/pliant government (INC) back power, and Congress more than willing to help them in return. India is a delicate country, compared t...

I also do believe that RJB won't bring in new age voters to vote for BJP. We have to be brutally honest to ourselves. It's a 'nice to have' in the manifesto, but can't be a heavy vote bringer. We are letting ourselves being fooled into a trap if we think that Congoons are pushing us into bring it in...

Looks like NOTA was introduced in 2014 in RS and 2015 in LS. They should remove this option. Those who want to exercise NOTA, can still abstain from voting.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )
Its because all positives developments such as low inflation, good infrastructure etc make people take it for granted. That does not drive them to vote. Make them starve and punish them a little, that does make them drive to voting booth. I hope Congoons do that, so that things would be ripe by May ...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )
take away (biggest) is vikas doesn't get you votes. And that is so sad a commentary on the state of the voter in India. Anywhere else, 'it is the economy, stupid'. I am not sure stoking the fires of Hindu nationalism would have the desired effect either. RJB maybe a strong factor in the Hindi heart...
