And what do you call Pandya's run out?
What has it got to do with Pujara's run out?

Re: Cricket

There must have been tremendous pressure on Pujara from Kohli to rotate strike that he forgot about everything else and set off for the run. :)

Re: Cricket

The safas got such a scare in the first match, they prepared a slow wicket for this test. With some luck we could have easy overhauled their score.

Re: Cricket

Good decision retaining nohit and sidelining Rahane. Yep, this experiment has to be proven to be a failure once and for all. We have plenty of talent in the wings. So there is no point in continuing with Rohit. If Rahane is not up to mark, there is Iyer. And there is another tamil nadu fast bowling...

There was a sting by IndiaToday in Madrasas teaching students to hate others and love ISIS. Would this be possible in a congress rule? BJP is going about putting constraints and restrictions on madrasas in a systematic way so congress cannot accuse it of bias and revive them later. Have patience guy...

India set 208 to win. Hope the sun is beating hard and removes the moisture in the pitch during the lunch break.

Re: Cricket

Kohli has his mind set on attack. That is why Dhawan and Rohit. He himself starts to attack very early in his innings. Only a couple of consecutive failures will make him wait till he settle down. This is a pattern I observed repeatedly. The attack approach may be worked well for SA or may be not be...

Re: Cricket

I am thinking of a use case for Rohit Sharma's 'he can change the match in a session' batting in a test match. First off, test match pitches are diff from one day pitches. They invariably favour the bowler more than ODI pitches. It's not the same as batting in ODIs. And how many situations arise whe...

Re: Cricket

Kohli doesn't hedge his bets. Dhawan, Rohit, Bumrah. All three risky options. I think Dhawan and Rohit should be given a very extended run on this foreign season and let them prove once and for all if they are capable of playing outside India or not. You can't have doubts about the ability of a play...

Won't there be a reverse polarization with all this Dalit Muslim comraderie? In Gujarat, there was a reverse polarization of OBCs with the patel agitation. Looking back at Gujarat, could the farmer's crisis have been handled better? BJP could have easily retained its seats if it performed well in rural areas. Who dropped the ball on this one? Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

Congress is not only trying to break the dalit and OBC votes, but also upper caste votes. The 'neech' comment by MSA and 'chai walla' comments on this forum must be taken in that context. They are appealing to the prejudices of some upper caste Hindus who are foolish enough to fall for that.

Is their a quid pro quo for Laloo breaking MGB in exchange for acquittal or lighter sentence? Technically its Nitish who broke it, but Laloo didn't leave him a choice. It's as if the script was written by BJP and Laloo carried it out.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

I don't know who you are considering a core voter. Not all core voters expect everything to be done in this term alone. There are some who recognize the difficulties and are willing to wait. Then there are others who are impatient. And then there are some who pose as core voters but their only purp...
