Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

Good post, KLP Dubey. Good perspective. Crams saaru, I would sincerely suggest not watching such shows from the usual suspects vomiting the usual drivel. For the sake of your blood pressure and peace of mind. They are very predictable in their (Well-known) positions and stances, there is not much on...

^^^Clearly, the judiciary alone is 100% responsible for these decisions (to convict or exonerate). Ask him: 'Are you accusing the judiciary of a castiest bias?' # etcetc. What he is implying is borderline defamation/smear.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

the negativity here and everywhere does contribute to nota and abstain. the flood of fake news, faux outrages, exaggerations, etc are all designed to target a possible bjp voter to get disillusioned. it's a tactic that worked great in the US. it follows a pattern of 'look i am against congress, but...

then it is your nationalist duty to find a third person who you think is fit to run the country, and then promote that person.
....... Its time to do it again.
And that person is......? If no definitive person in mind yet, who are your candidates?

For those in Gujarat or who followed it closely- the MLAs hiding in Karnataka 3-4 months ago when Gujarat was having floods-
Did that become an election issue? Was it brought up in public or did it not be much of an election issue?

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

He should. In fact, when I heard that MSA made the 'neech' comment, I was wondering if he is now secretly working for BJP. As an aside, I had not ever heard the 'remove him' comment made by MSA in a meeting in Pakistan. I think this should be a bookable offense, if made of a sitting PM (or CM). Of c...

Re: Books Discussion Thread

Recently bought and read the 'India's Most Fearless' by Aroor and Rahul Singh. Two main stories are the raids/strikes into Pakistan and Burma. Plus many other stories where the Army goes after the terrorists in Kashmir. In the Burma operation, they walked about 40 km, of which 30 km was within India...

Re: Nukkad

The elephant did a good job making it look gentle. If you watch its front feet...from the point that the guy kissed it on his trunk to when he is airborne, the elephant's feet moved forward about 5 to 7 feet. The entire bulk of the elephant moved forward by this much..while making it look like a sim...

For singha (and any animalo-phile)....Nice article on a person who can 'communicate' with elephants. From his description, they are very similar to humans in emotion, family/intra-herd bonds and intelligence. http://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/energy-and-environment/the-elephant-whisperer/article19975...

Even Jernail Singha’s dreams are more vivid and coherent than my conscious thoughts   Indeed. They are also technically correct  The sound was heard a second after the flash, in the dream !! It must have been about 330 m away, haha. BTW, first time I'm reading a description of a mi...

^ Ask them a simple question: are they for or against the T3 ban, and if they support the ban why? If against, why so. The answers will be interesting. Try to get a substantive answer instead of a rhetorical/evasive/diversionary answer.

Re: Welcome to Bharat Ganrajya

Not sure if you are kidding or serious, but Negi is a real name. A famous hockey goalie of India in a past National Team has this name (last name IIRC). ...guess you were kidding (added later). By the way, 'Bharat Ganrajya' in devanagri on the main page has not been translated ;) . It is not 'Voice ...
