One more case is against Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Bharati swamiji of Ramachandrapura maTa in karnataka. He is famous for gouraksha projects. In 2014 or so, one lady came up saying the swamiji physically assaulted her repeatedly. The case is still ongoing in courts. IIRC the lower courts has said there...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017
SCjs ban on fire-crackers is NOT on lighting firecrackers. Its on sale. So now people will sell and will have to buy illegally at twice or thrice the price. And total quantity will definitely reduce, This decision of SCjs imo is anti-Hindu and anti-Hinduism. . Solution I propose is --- we should twe...

Re: GST (goods and service tax) issues
This invoice matching is there ever since VAT was implemented (or even before, manually-inefficient). In VAT it was done by the salestax dept PEOPLE. Now it will be done electronically when the system is operational. The advantage is that human interface is removed in GST and so lesser corruption. ...

Re: GST (goods and service tax) issues
(8) GST doesnt prevent top to bottom "no bill no GST" supply chains (or subchains) - so massive evasion is likely . And to stop that evasion, Govt introduced eWayBill system, so that every supply can be tracked. But eWayBill syatem turned out to be monster and so had to be deferred. So now there is...

Further, rates calculated on a revenue neutral basis. Even then MOST of the purchases have become cheaper for the MANUFACTURER AND TRADER. BUT THEY ARE NOT PASSING IT TO SELLER/CUSTOMER. (3) GST is more Regressive compared to income tax / wealth tax . Most economists consider concept of "repressiveness" as useless. Thats why most eco-texts dont even mention this concept. . A general argument given by RSS-workers (RSS = BJP) is . (1) If nationalists / hindu votes divide then SoGa / ArKe will win (Hindu batega , hindu Ghatega) . The missing trader problem will occur only once, right? B will not do business with A again if A does not file his return on time. Say there are 1000 small sellers and 10 large sellers . And say there are 1 million buyers . The seller can be trader and or manufacturer . Every year, 1 out 1000 small...
