Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

It’s actually pretty simple. You don’t pay income tax - you don’t vote. One of the suggestions that never saw the light of day in 1947 was that non Hindus in a partitioned India could remain but could not vote.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Anyone who does not pay income tax must have their voting rights removed. Too many useless, uneducated scum in public who deserve disenfranchisement. Voting is a privilege, not a right.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

There is way too much dhoti-shiver going on here folks. Yes, it is a setback, but it is not the end of the world. We need to have faith and believe that the leadership is savvy enough to make the necessary changes. The cadres are driven by ideology and not by fake promises of loot. Nope. 2019 GE is...

what happens to people who voted for youth leader? :rotfl:
They don't bring money bags with them. Kamalnath and Gehlot certainly do. Kamalnath makes Digvijay look like an honest esteemed statesman.
WTF have the people done.

Do we know who the CMs of RJ, MP and CG are going to be? I'm sure the moneybags are going to pass on to Italian mafia in Delhi for CM and other posts in state governments. Lookout for who will be in charge of electricity boards, PWD and Irrigation depts.

MP has made progress in roads and infrastructure. Expect PWD and MPEB officials siphoning off money and ignoring the upkeep of infrastructure. If anyone who live in MP prior to 2008 will know from Digvijay's time there. Also Kamal Nath is as corrupt as they come, see national parks and endangered wi...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

I simply cannot buy the fact that a 44 LS seat party out of 543 is winning big states in India comprehensively. The INC political machine across India is deeply entrenched. The only way to break it was to have the BJP control large states and the center through 2030, but even in 2014 we knew that t...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

For those saying Hindutva brings votes, People voted congress even after they said 'unse baadme lipatlenge'. For those saying vikas won't fetch votes, it will at least not get you 44 seats. The number one issue that people based their vote in Rajasthan as per opinion polls is unemployment. If this ...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

We need to do a post mortem on the results. Certainly 5forty3 analysis is inaccurate. To win in Chattisgarh and MP, the INC had to move from left to center. India’s development has been set back by at least 5 years and most likely 10. Most everyone on this forum will not see a developed India in the...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

The BIF have gained momentum for 2019 now. Rajasthan had a problem with Vasundhararaje, but MP and Chattisgarh is really a loss. I attribute it to demonetisation, increase in real taxes with GST, unemployment, and to some extent anti-incumbency. If BJP can’t win the Hindi heartland, then 2019 looks ...

The missionary fellow was on a Tourist Visa, yet conduction missionary work. In that case, he should have applied for a Missionary Visa to India. He should have been reported, arrested and deported. There were over 8,000 Sentinelese in the mid-1800s. The British brought diseases, enslaved, and kille...

Ok, so Timesnow is also predicting BJP is loosing RJ. Not getting rid of VR is proving costly. It’s hard to as she is the daughter of Raj Mata Scindia. You could say Raj Mata is the patron saint of the BJP. There are loyal followers of the Scindia family. But I agree decades have passed and Amit Sh...

MP is solidly BJP and mostly CH. RJ has flip flopped between the INC and BJP, but this is due to CM Vasundra Raje Scindia. The BJP leadership needs to ask her to step down, but is unlikely.

Trump serves the purpose of dismantling the Bretton Woods agreement and the general system of international trade where it has favored the EU and China. Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

The JDS and INC had no declared alliance until today. The INC moved fast to rope in the JDS. This was most likely done with the movement of money bags. The question is where did the INC get the crores to do this? I would speculate that foreign BIF forces and some foreign governments facilitated the ...
