Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

There are posts on this forum calling to vote for NOTA or finding an alternative to Modi. Without even a candidate or another party that can defeat congress, any call for replacing Modi is an attempt to divide BJP votes. The motive behind that such posts is so obvious. You assume way too much. In a...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

^^ Posers? Like they readily pronounce dissatisfied core voters as pappu voters? Where is this coming from? Seriously. That single nonsensical post by Gus has generated two pages of retributive nonsense. There are posts on this forum calling to vote for NOTA or finding an alternative to Modi. Witho...

When it comes to corruption, BJP is not much different. IN 3-1/2 years it has hardly done anything concrete to fight corruption. It hasn't even appointed a Lokepal.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :)) This is what Kejriwal wants. Now we know where you are coming from.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

I don't know who you are considering a core voter. Not all core voters expect everything to be done in this term alone. There are some who recognize the difficulties and are willing to wait. Then there are others who are impatient. And then there are some who pose as core voters but their only purpo...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

Those people who say the fight is between Modi and Rahul have already given away the country to its enemies. If you are willing to admit that Modi is not a right person for PM post, and Rahul is only worse, then it is your nationalist duty to find a third person who you think is fit to run the coun...

To the “I am hindutva onlee but need better alternative to Modi “ people Either you are with Modi or with Rahul. Stop obfuscating this. Maybe when MGB with Rahul is no longer a threat in 2024 you get to indulge in your “I want more hindutva” stuff. For now, get in line or get out. This incessant wh...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

So basically its your 'sense' that some one cheated, but you have no proof. Piyush Goyal is responsible for driving the shift to LEDs, bringing down the prices and bringing the states on board. But he is not responsible for its implementation in the state. So, he should get the credit. Wow, you cal...

Sorry, he is not congressi. When the scam happened, he was part of UPA. The scam happened during UPA. Wrong again. Congress only extended outside support, was not part of the govt. Two open and shut cases against the DMK and there is no conviction. But Madhu Koda, a congressi, gets convicted. If there is truth to 'DMK is let go because of some quid pro quo', I am ok with the judgements. Congress is the bigger fish and once congress is taken care of, the others will fall in li...

Don't you think its the KA govts responsibility to replace all the street lights. As long as the dept providing the bulbs (EESL?) gets the money for the number of bulbs provided, the central govt is in the clear. Unless you know that Piyush Goyal or some one in his dept committed some irregularitie...

There seems to be some silver lining in the judgement. The judgement blames PMO and said that if the PMO objected, the spectrum would not have been allocated by DoT. Arnab is reading the relevant portions on the Republic.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

It is likely that the shift in Patel votes is mostly in rural areas where caste will be a factor. Caste somewhat perhaps, but looks more economic to me. Even last time rural was shared evenly between BJP and Congress. This time it got much worse. People have to be taken away from farming and urbani...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

The rural urban divide in BJPs performance clearly says that it's economics and not HIndutva or at least economics trumps Hindutva. Did not people see through RaGa's fake Hindutva? If urban Gujarat can see it, so can rural Gujarat. But people justify what they want to do, they only need a reason. Ru...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

So why couldn't have BJP increased MSP or done a farm loan waiver? Its better than give congress a foot hold. I hope this issue is being looked into in other states. Congress will screw up the economy any way. So why not take a hit with BJP only and stay in power?
