Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

Have you noticed all the channels. I have been flipping channels from TimesNow to Republic to ABP to UndY. Nobody is talking about Pappu, not one word.

RudraJI, I would discount that, they are all postal ballots and very few according to one expert on republic and he said this before counting began.

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

Possible. I doubt JDS will support BJP should both BJP and Congoons end up with roughly the same amount. It will be a Congoon JDS govt with a Dalit CM. It will be a master stroke that Cong high command will pull off. And to top it, Pappu will be giving the honors to the Dalit CM in a scripted media ...

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

One thing is very very clear in my mind. Since the day ModiJi took office in 2014 the Congoons and their media put in place a scheme to nip in the bud any further consolidation of Dalits and other OBCs to the Hinduthva BJP camp. Had that trend continued, Amit Shah was 100% right that it will be Cong...

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

PP latest analysis is confusing. Heading says BJP has edge but content says Congress may win. http://5forty3.in/gaze_articles.php?articalid=213 Now I am going to be critical. This guy seems to be a lot of pedantic gas using lots of seemingly sophisticated analytics methods, but his conclusions swin...

Maybe split the difference, 107 for BJP :-). Not bad but still not majority.

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

Fanne, not blaming bos, I like PP's analysis, just pointing out that polling is inherently flawed. Very tough to get a representative sample in swing situations.

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

Praveen Patil sounds worried. He is refactoring his analysis based on voters turnout. This is called CYA (cover your arse :-)). Similar to what so called statistical prediction "wizard" Nate Silver was doing, giving some bogus explanation, after predicting all along, up until election day giving Hi...

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

Guys, can we go back to history a bit. If I recall correctly during last year's UP elections too, opinion polls were similar, many giving BJP the edge, some to Congoons. And we saw the result. Problem with these opinion polls are their faulty nature to begin with, and of course bias of pollsters.

^^^ Guys, my wife was watching and caught glimpse of this movie. To be honest, it seemed good in patches, but became typical Bollywood crap as the movie progressed and I gave up. On another, for this who are in tune with this Cannes BS, as usual I see delusional headlines on DDM that Deepika storms ...

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

Dorkie is doing a report and show on all Muslim bodies in Karnataka urging their Muslim brethren to vote for Pappu. For those on the ground, is this big news? If true and people have heard it loud and clear, this could lead to Hindu polarization on the other side which can only benefit BJP. So I am ...

I feel this is the time some big wig from RW must show some b@lls and confront Pappu and his slaves with the truth and if Luytyen media raises a storm, confront it head on, namely, if the so called 'more Indian than many Indians' Italian bar maid turned queen in India Sonia were dark-skinned and not...

We will come to power in Karnataka with 130 seats or more, says Amit Shah Guys, this kind of bragging doesn't impress me. Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc

When ModiJi is on the road waving to enthusiastic crowds, I hope the security is air tight. Yesterday, I was a little worried ModiJi waving to the crowd in open air. I will not put it beyond Congoons, Paki ISI, CIA, MI-5 etc to do what is in their interests with plausible deniability.
