Re: Nukkad

Human senses are limited when it comes to sight and hearing. We are restricted to limited audible frequencies and also to a very narrow electromagnetic spectrum. There is a set of very weird connections that I discovered due to my interest in astrology. 1. Rahu and Ketu when posited badly or afflic...

Heard a lot about "Kesar da Dhaba" in Amritsar, that the dal is cooked for 12-13 hours overnight. Need to try that place.

Re: Nukkad

Thanks, I used to live in a street that was en-route to a local cremation ground, the departed's bodies would taken through this street. I always wondered if there's a connection between this and the street dogs howling all of a sudden mid-night.

Re: Nukkad

Why do dogs start howling all of a sudden, especially during night? Is it because they see a ghost?

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

I have to admit I too am disappointed though not surprised that the SC ordered the ban on fireworks on Diwali (banning the sale effectively destroys any chance of people at large enjoying them). However, I am equally if not more disappointed in the #blowtoModi reaction on this forum. We do not need...

^^ and they have tall leadership in manoj tiwari now. Yes. That is the best they can get. They could have made someone like Mr. Giri the MP from East Delhi at least. He seems to be a stable fellow. Still, I think BJP is better now than the times of Madan Lal Khurana etc. Yes, they need to...

What exactly do you think Donald Trump has "changed"? Apart from nominating Neil Gorsuch which any Republican could have done, what has he achieved on immigration? Healthcare? National security? And by the way, how does he have less support than Modi? He has majorities in House and Senate. Does NDA...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

I do not want this country to fall back into the hands of actively malignant Hindu-hating traitors. That is my priority. In the meantime I don't care what BJP does not "do FOR Hindus". Not one bit. Hindus are very capable of taking care of our own interests independently as long as the playing fiel...

Slowly it is sinking in that we need a RW alternative of BJP.
BJP is not a RW party, it's centrist at best.

Re: Car and Bike thread

Guys, have you felt unmarked speed breakers are more dangerous than speeding 10-20 kmph more while riding 2 wheelers? Especially if you don't spot them and down't slow down, the vehicle lifts up in the air and if you don't control the "landing", you can fall pretty bad.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

If congress or AAP says it'd be neutral to everyone, not undermine hinduism and hindu causes, I'd vote for them and ask others to do the same. Con or AAP just want to win, if we make a deal on the above terms, then no issue in voting for them I guess.

It is exactly this kind of posts that led to the closing of GDF in BRF. Now we are not even in the burkha threads here and all the things we post are open. Please be careful.
Yagnasri garu, how long will it take for the govt to bring in an ordinance to revoke the ban ?

Re: Car and Bike thread

The hero honda cd100 and kawasaki kb100 are true classic pathbreakers of our schooli days From what I see many bikes in desh are about 125cc nowadays. You could say 150cc. Hardly any bike lower than that unless we are talking about mopeds. 200cc is common, which will be the norm in few years time.
