Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 2 (Mar 2018 - )
Since Lilo-ji's (I want to say, epic) take-down 10 days back of those clamoring 24x7 for the "Core" agenda, it seemed like much of that junk stopped appearing here. But there are still some who are intent on cleverly masquerading as BJP supporters but constantly whining about how BJP has lost the wa...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 2 (Mar 2018 - )
He seems to have smartly negotiated a deal to let him be KA's MMS. From then on, he has been systematically undermining MQ and her family enterprise: To me all this make it sound like the congis have HDK''s balls in a vice and somehow things will continue indefinitely just like with MMS, with the M...

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc
I would hope that despite the differences in the Governers' actions in Goa and now in KA, etc., there are valid principles behind these decisions. In each case when there is no clear majority, the role of the Governer would have to be to call a party or a coalition that can reliably prove majority w...

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc
I think most of us started with the "hung assembly" at the start of the day, went euphoric after the initial results came. And now it is time to face the reality. Actually I made the decision today not to follow the coverage blow by blow... I suffered through the roller coaster of Bihar and almost ...

Re: Election Discussions - National, State etc
Don't mean to hurt anyone's sensibilities... This is almost exactly what I was hoping for and probably something I even posted somewhere in BGR. This leaves a mark on KA politics showing BJP head and shoulders over Con and JDS. But the historically murky governance of the state will go to the losers...

I doubt this will end with this... They will keep coming at it from different angles until they find a breach. Already Prashant Bhushan files an RTI to get details on how the bench was constituted.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 2 (Mar 2018 - )
I am a still bit scared, would prefer INC and Left supporters to celebrate before elections and BJP supporters celebrate after election results. Any result that helps nudge BJP to a 2019 LS majority is what would make me happy. How about BJP getting about 45% of seats, INC and JD each with ~25% sea...

From what I understand anybody in the criminal case involving a Dalit is automatically arrested pending the case in court. This means that automatically arrested and need to prove your innocence in court. Recently, in the Delhi CS assault case, the CS had complained of threats from the AAP MLA to f...

Well, wish you the very best! I am of the opinion that the GDF type forum is the most effective in dealing with tod...

Fugitive Economic Offenders Bill to deal with offenders fleeing country. How are they planning to get this bill passed? Is this a "Money Bill"? Or through a joint session? Because I am sure the "seculars" would never allow such a bill to pass in Rajya Sabha at this point of time. They may be making...

His name originally is based on "one with lotus like smile" kind of meaning. His brother was Charuhasan for "attractive smile" and another one Chandrahasan etc. Now he spells it Haasan.

Do we have to allow BIF agents at bharatganrajya? They have all the platform that they need in India starting from SC to NDTV to god knows 1 million NGOs. Why allow them to infiltrate here and then make everyone respond to them. With their absence, if this becomes a echo chamber, so be it. Aviral d...

I am disappointed in Modi because he has the Prithviraj syndrome. Not going for the jugular and allowing the Congi ecosystem to thrive under his nose. After 2014, he should have completely replaced the Congi coterie in Bureaucracy but he did not. He kept on harping on SSSV. There is a palpable fear...
