Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

Let me most humbly attempt to answer only. you are sadly trapped in either-or scenario unable to view any other alternatives. What is this mysterious 'status quo' you keep talking about ?? If people want to be corrupt they will be, non amount of aadhar or niradhar is going to prevent the die-hard co...

^+1. Despite all the disapproval the aadhaar vetting and linking process has garnered here on brf, IMHO these teething troubles will lead to a better functioning polity and socio-economy compared to what went before it, period. Besides aadhaar, the aggressive use of tech n governance initiatives, ro...

^ Can only wonder how much loot would've happened with Sasikala and the mannargudi mafia running the show in TN. TN did dodge a bullet there. As for the 2 parties in TN, DMK's own plunder wasn't exactly demure. If NDA couldn't send them to meet justice then what hope with putative allies, the ADMK, ...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

The angst against adhar is simple - 1) It allows Modi to pass on to subsidy directly to voters in the run up to 2019 election 2)It stops the current patronage system that is based on ghost beneficiaries, almost all going to system that patronize cong/left. So it is a double whammy and hence the app...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

Now like that. If someone wants to play politics they will pay for it one way or another for sure. The very fact that SC judge has to say that he is not anti-Hindu in open court tell a lot about the real pressure on them and they know what they have done. That is the first step. Next time when they...

Meanwhile, relentless judicial assault on Yindoo festivals continues unabated.

No stage, loudspeaker at Chhath Puja ground: Delhi High Court (IE)

Any pretext will do. Here,it was two organizing societies approaching court over the sole right to conduct the Puja at that ground.

Meanwhile, does seem like the lotus corp HQ under President Amitbhai And CEO Narendrabhai is experimenting with overt, assertive (but essentially non-discriminatory and non-anti-mainority) Hindutva under a flanker brand called Yogi, just to test waters perhaps. Happy to see such pilots being run at ...

Seems SC will conduct daily hearings on RJB from December onwards (about bl00dy time, no?). There's a distinct chance truth may win - i.e., factual evidence of a Raam mandir demolished by phoren invaders will become court-recognized fact. IOW, there's a chance a Ram mandir may be green-lighted in ou...
