Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 4
https://twitter.com/MNageswarRaoIPS/status/1388827304592293889 Everyone perceives BJP as Hindu party whereas it wants to be secular always begging its enemies for certificates of secularism as epitomised by sabka vishwas. Secondly once in power it ignores core Hindu issues & takes Hindus for granted...

Interesting article. RSS first was supporting Sabarimala women entry before they realized that it was against wish of all Hindus. Even with farmer's agitation, RSS Mohan Bhagat was pushing for negotiation and withdrawal of laws in January talking of virtues of "we are democracy". The great soul of P...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 4
Learning from CAA situation last year, government should have tried in December itself to control and suppress without letting it grow. There are many tactics they could have used then. State governments all over India handle agitations all the time without anybody getting killed. Thanks to Thunberg...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 4
Although I am not a big fan of this guy, he is saying the truth. Government's inaction last two months is looking more and more like stupidity than any complicated chankya thanthra. You didn’t act when they blockaded Delhi You didn’t act when they uprooted telecom towers You didn’t act when they des...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 4
Searching in youtube will show many examples across India how state police control protests. Nobody gets killed. BJP government didn't even use those methods. That's what I was referring to by inaction. This may be Modi's P.V Narasimha moment which led to the rise of BJP. Future historians may write...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 4
Die hard fans at BRF still think this is some complicated chankya thantra by PM. But this is the price of inaction and not having spine. Modi seems to be always scared of his image in western media and too big fan of SC solving all the problems of India. Then why India needs an elected PM. He is run...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 4
This maybe the beginning of the end of this government. For any legislation this tactic will be used. Don't expect anything new happening for the rest of the term. With 303 seats, if government can be held hostage by few protestors most folks have lost hope in this government. From multiple members,...

could be..i remember seeing photos of friends visiting as tourist and telling tourism is back Terror was very much there in Kashmir before 2014. There was never a let up. In fact MMS as PM could not visit the valley since 2010 onwards. Mainstream media just wanted to report this as a failure of Modi.

Thanks for the info. I believe Gil's hardline tactics in Punjab against Khalistan terrorist and Sri Lankan govt's hardline tactics against LTTE are the successful operations against terrorist operations that needs to used in Kashmir. Half measures results only in bleeding wound.

Population decrease in south india will cause more migration from north india, and they will naturally will start learning to speak south indian languages. Instead of any govt push, this will be natural way for learning other languages and more integration.

After election, Modi is repeating what he was doing in his first term, trying to impress western media and far left indian media by this stunt. Did he do the same in 2014 also? I don't have much hope in any tough actions, will stick with less controversial toilet building etc https://www.firstpost.c...
