Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 4

My prediction is that Modi will win 2024 and then retire by 2029. Then it will be Amit Shah as PM for 2-3 terms, and then make way for Yogi.
Congress will split up and the Gandhis will be in jail or out of politics.

Re: Bharat Ganrajya Relaunch and India Aware Association

Hello It's good to see the relaunch as I had assumed that this group was gone. I think one of the mistakes made earlier was to make it into a clone of BRF. There was a lot of pressure to use the same names for threads and to make some threads "No discussion" the reason god alone knows. BRF is more s...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

In most WhatsApp groups, the rabid anti-Modi people have been very active and obnoxious. Any attempt to counter them leads to the admin jumping in with a "No Politics" decree. So, all WhatsApp groups are either actively anti-Modi or silent-neutral under curfew. There just aren't any pro-BJP WhatsAp...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

India should stop this model election code based free speech control. Let politicians say whatever they want. India needs to start acting like a mature democracy and stop having central authority decide what is right or wrong to say in public speeches, release movies etc. Yes, I find this ridiculou...

And this is when his son is finding it tough in Mandya Dt., and there is a great "secular" fight going on in Mysore district as well (between JDS and INC). Reducing the stock pile of cash, plus "naming & shaming" is what would yeild results now. The court cases would naturally come in later, as the...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

I've always wondered how a country as divisive over religion as India can have an aspirant for the PM post whose religious identity is still somewhat of a mystery and nobody seems to have a clue. The following are facts, even Haldiram Ji cannot dispute: 1. Indira Gandhi was born and brought up a Hi...

Everyone other than his fanbois know that Pappu is a fool. They still harp on Modi's supposed promise to put Rs 15 lakh in every citizen's account. Bottle said it just a day ago at a rally. There are always business cycles that no neta can control. We live in a globalized world, and are susceptible ...

The moment these guys get into the Indian team, they acquire a Bollywood starlet/model/socialite girlfriend. BJP has traditionally won between 100-110 seats in Kar at its best. So this result was on par with a few seats lost here and there. BJP is weak in south Kar. The mandate was in favor of BJP like last time when BSY was CM with help of allies. It is perfectly alright for BJP to try to form govt in Ka...

Re: Cricket

It's a bit more complex than that though.... these days corporations worry about their image because it reflects in advertising money. So even if a high performer misbehaves with values opposite to what they want to portray, they kick him out. Uber did that with Amit Singhal. My opinions on this are...
