Re: Nukkad

I guess not many CBM fans either here or on BRF...I vividly remember having vibrant discussion on BRF nukkad around the time of Avengers 1 release. May be people involved have over grown them. OMG Avengers Endgame is gonna do 1B USD BO this weekend alone. I saw it on Friday evening...was floored. Ha...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

One good thing about this election's season, it has exposed the media houses's allegiances big time (on all sides). No more sneaking-in their narratives hiding under the mask of objectivity, like they used to do it in the past. Many people I know who were slightly pro-Modi have gone ahead & removed ...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

This b@st@rd called Ashok Swain, who is a Prof in some Swedish Univ, doesn't hesitate to insult Hindus/RW at the slightest opportunity. Air Vistara had tweeted a pic about recognizing Gen Bakshi as a war veteran and thanking him for choosing their airline. This MoFo sitting in Sweden, probably trave...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

My name was not on the rolls for last year's state elections. I assumed it would be there since I had voted in GE 2014. Anyways, this time, I did not take any chances and verified twice that I was listed on the rolls (visited BLR One office a month ago and recent one was last week). And I had inform...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

I voted for NaMo as well via Tejasvi of course. So did my family. The family who were in front of me in the line for sure did not vote for BJP. I think they were looking for either the party with symbol Pot or Grapes on the list. John, are you sure that even S BLR won't go for BJP? Traditionally, th...

Re: Nukkad

So there is a leaked footage of Avengers Endgame snippets in circulation. May be a little hard to find considering Disney/Marvel has been forcing sites to remove it. Folks who are interested enough to search may find it still if they persist enough. Anyways, it is onlee 10 days to go until theatrica...

Re: Nukkad

^^ Yup. Very enjoyable film...although better suited for kids than adults. Haven't watched CM, but many user reviews says it is more or less an average movie. Anyways, in Shazam I thought the action could have been better. CGI was low quality in a few places and it is understandable since the budget...

Re: Nukkad

Even though Shazam has been received spectacular reviews & RT ratings (93% as I type with 150 reviews in), the OW numbers will be muted. Current projection is tracking around 55-60 Mil USD in US and around $50 Mil in China. So far most people who have watched it love it but still the traction is jus...

If csram wasn't enough riled up with India's current affairs, this article will certainly help him to bring up his outrage by a notch. http://theasiadialogue.com/2019/03/26/narendra-modis-bid-for-re-election-keeps-india-pakistan-relations-dangerously-on-the-edge/ Excerpts to raise BP On 14 February ...

Re: Nukkad

Phew... this summer seems to be a little harsh in BLR. Google shows me that temperature this time is around 2-3 deg warmer than usual. I dunno when pre-monsoon showers are supposed to arrive, but I hope it does soon. I remember in 2016, bad summer with no rains meant that BWSSB was thinking of ratio...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

For the past day or so, all liberals on Twitter & media (RundiTV) have been pointing & harping that Pak scales higher than desh on some stupid happiness scale and thus NaMo's developments have actually made negative influence on aam aadmi.

I still don't understand how RaGa is seen as a leader by Leftists. That dude has literally zero accomplishments & track record as a politician. Has he ever been to an "office" for a few months straight? I am speaking here out of pure ignorance, but I would like to know if RaGa wakes up early in the ...

Re: Nukkad

So far, all the SM reactions I've come across for Shazam movie has been extremely positive. All the reactions describe the movie as fun with a lot of heart & Zach Levy steals the performance as Shazam. In fact, many of them say, this is the best DC movies outside of Nolan movies and is a must watch....

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Most reports on jobs/unemployment paint a gloomy picture in India. Unemployment rate is growing in India and most seem to say that it has worsened in the last 2-3 years. It is true that India has had a joblessness growth for a long time (even since UPA). Again, I see opposition parties hammering une...

OK folks. It seems like Karnataka wing of IYC, the youth arm of INC is doing door-door campaign in Karnataka about NaMo's failure. Kevin Fiege is a brilliant strategist. He most likely encouraged (or sat passively) Brie Larson to make controversial political statements & high lighting the feminism aspect, ahead of CM's release to add up the hype & get fans charged (on both sides). Although most reviews of the movie states that ...

Yeah, I think weekend shows are still running full for Uri. Anyways, on a different topic, how much money the Chinese have to spend on movies? Captain Marvel is supposed to have a weekend BO of close to $100 Million in China alone. And with URI, we might be close to 350 crore box office global (almo...

It is seriously disgusting when TSP Foreign Minister references the joint press statement issued by our so called patriotic opposition parties. The joint press statement more or less explicitly makes it clear that they are not behind the current GoI. So they are essentially stating that current govt...

Re: NGO, Media and Psyops watch.

I really doubt NDTV depends on revenues from its viewership. I'd bet they have a lot of funding from outside India which is assuredly continued as long as NDTV continues on its current path i.e. serve as the flag bearer of BIF media. I doubt the investors would allow it to sink that easily. Probably...

Uri will cross 100 Crore at Box Office by EOD. First block buster of 2019 which does not feature any of the khans or Kapoors... The amount of burnol it is creating at liberal quarters is evident by this comment at NDTV's article: Uri: The Surgical Strike opened to mixed reviews at the box office. In...
