Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

^^^ Guys, is this really true. Post election debacle, I am wary of taking any statistic by someone pro-BJP at face value. Reason being that libtrads are almost unanimous in declaring that wherever YogiJi campaigned, BJP came out pauper. I don't take them seriously either, but not sure where the trut...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Guys, as dumb howling jack ass as Pappu is, lets not underestimate the smart slaves he has at his disposal who can work the Congoon ecosystem like a toy. Just through attacking ModiJi with no substance they have put him and BJP on the defensive. Thus, slogans like "Chowkidar Chor Hai" are designed t...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Pappu and his slaves like Ajai Shukla are out blazing repeating 'chor' like stuffed constipated wolves. And all that f!king BJP puts out is the mild-mouthed Shaina NC begging to listen to SC. Give me a f!king break. If this is how BJP can get pummeled even when they win, they don't deserve to be in ...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Another example of how upended the narrative has been is the entire Congoon ecosystem is universal in proclaiming that PM ModiJi's rhetoric has been strident, had been harsh. But reality is that it is the Congoons who have been viciously attacking BJP/ModiJi from day 1. I wonder how "Chowkidar chor ...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

SC dismisses all plea's for a court monitored probe in Rafale deal. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/supreme-court-verdict-on-rafale-deal-live-updates/liveblog/67085636.cms Personally I feel that this *IS* going to further boost the image of the PM. Interesting that SC waited till after th...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Guys, on another note, I am truly appalled at that vulgar display of hedonism on display at Ambani's daughter's wedding. Even though its a private affair, its a truly disgusting spectacle, that kind of ostentatious display of wealth in a dirt poor country like India. I hope ModiJi did not touch that...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

There is always something to look forward to. Lets wait for SC's judjment on Rafale tomorrow. Till now, I thought Rafale was not an issue at all, but who knows, maybe Pappu's "chowkidar chor hai" cheap lie had an impact, and this become even more viscous and vociferous if SC judgement goes his way e...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

^^ Also, I respectfully disagree. We do need to attack that moron Pappu. Because otherwise, you will see Pappu mock ModiJi and he gets to set the narrative. To get a sense of how twisted the attacks against BJP have been, just consider one example: J&K. Now, here is a 70+ year old problem. 1000s of ...

Hate to post anything from BJP/ModiJi hating pseudo liberal toadies, but just thought this particular opinion piece by Amulya Ganguly is not bordering on hate, but makes the claim that Demo was the cause of BJP's defeat. And he does cite a plausible reason in that once cash was take out of farmers' ...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

DarshanJi, all good points, but I can't believe people will be so stupid to vote for a party and clown of a leader that has been so dis-credited. Based on all the analysis here so far, my best case guesstimate is that Congoons disseminated those freebie goodies messages across large rural/uneducated...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Lots of good ideas on the economic front, but one thing BJP should do is take their gloves off in countering Pappu propagandists like Coupta, UndY, and a host of media virulently hostile to them. I have been watching DDM from day one when ModiJi took power, the anti-BJP propaganda has been relentles...

Guys, anybody here knowledgeable about CM KCR of TRS in Telangana? He seems to be an interesting character. I do know that he is a big devotee of Chinna Jeer SwamiJi (CJS) who himself may not be as aggressive a Hinduthva icon as YogiJi but he is definitely part of the Hinduthva family. What I mean i...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Yes DubeyJi, good analysis. Only minor nit-pick is whether Indian electorate who by and large are casteist and illiterate can really discern between local and national elections? Also, the most disgusting takeaway from the elections is that Pappu is taken seriously by large swathes of the electorate...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

I am willing to buy the most plausible theory that farmers and other low-skilled workers did BJP in. But as SSundar pointed out, the interesting thing is that govt can only do so much. In this sense, ruling govt will always take the flak. So the key economic conundrums BJP needs to address very quic...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

I am not a pollster, but just having a sense of of the pulse of Indian voters, the main issues in India it seems to me are economic goodies and caste. With caste divisions so deep, I am wondering how much Hinduthva can actually unite. But this goes back to SuSwamy's famous Troika: Development, Corru...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Very disappointing results. I always hoping based on polls, opinions from the ground etc, that MP and Chattisgargh will be BJP's and Rajasthan would be tough. Raman Singh being beaten so badly was a shocker, and MP being so close was also surprising. Both Shivraj Chouhan and Raman Singh are stellar ...

Re: Cricket

A win is a win, but I agree that this was not a very convincing win. In fact, I can bet I am speaking for a lot of fans, but at one stage, I thought we would lose, and its frustrating and I was gnawing my teeth at the ease with which the Aus tail enders were playing our bowlers, particular star spin...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

I am preparing myself for a BJP rout on 12/11, and I know BJP cadres will be demoralized by the relentless attacks and mocking by the Congoon ecosystem, but I think they need to pick up the pieces and soldier along for the grand prize in 2019. India cannot be handed over to Pappu-led BIF forces no m...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Just trying to recall accuracy of exit polls in the recent past. In Delhi, everyone was way off base, nobody predicted an AAP sweep. In Bihar, ditto. Almost everyone gave edge to BJP. Even "Dr." Prannay Roy who did exit polls then gave BJP 127+ seats. In UP, I can't recall exactly, but exit polls di...

Nah, but earlier he was predicting a sweep for BJP in MP/Chattisgarh. Going by even his previous predictions, I think his models are incomplete at best, a tad pedantic, and he lets his pro-BJP bias creep in (no complaints on that though :-)).

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Not sure how much we can rust exit polls, but certainly Pappu and other anti-BJP forces have reason to be optimistic given the trends that are showing up. I thought both MP and Chattisgargh are in BJP's kitty, but it doesn't seem so. Yuck, can stand this :-). So if the exit polls stand, we are looki...
