Re: Nukkad

That we are but just a spec in the vast infinite expanses of the universe is something most people push to the back of their minds so that they do not have to confront the fact that their lives, at the end, matter very little.

5.5 lakh NOTA in GJ. Enough to wipe out many a lose margin contest in many a seat. Now who might these voters be? My guess: The Hindutvawadi voters perhaps, who are putoff by BJP's games (take-'em-for-granted) but can't get themselves to vote for an anti-Hindu Cong. Am sure the sangh feedback ecosy...

Caste play is left-hands play for congress. They found a couple of fellows in gujarat and threw an IOI biscuit of caste reservations and bjp had to fly down every minister to campaign till modis throat became hoarse. They'll light fires all over india that modi will have to combat. Unless they take ...

The late glacial is 25-13,000 ka. So sea levels were already on the rise if we date the Ramayana to 7-6000 BC. While the waters may have been shallow, it might not have been traversible by foot. Ramayana knows boats. They cross rivers by boats. So why they didnt consider building big boats rather th...

They've been white topping that stretch for weeks now and entire traffic goes through the service road which is akin to the surface of mars. Terrible planning. Dust levels in the city are unbelievable.

ACT and buggers keep upping speed and datacap each month without even asking. TV/Tatasky is all but gathering dust except for the F1 weekends. Once even F1 goes digital, this will be permanently sidelined. TV is right next to router and has an ethernet cable running into it. So gone are the days of ...

Re: Phone, Tablet & Gizmo Thread

A used 6d/5d mark 2 and a walkaround lens like the tamron 17-50 would be good enough to start off. Decent enough for portraiture, landscape etc. You could rent/borrow long lenses if you want to shoot tele stuff. Need a FF lens like the 24-105L for that. The 17-50 is a crop lens.  :)) :...

jamwal ji I had a pretty bad ankle injury from a twist that left me unable to run properly for close to 2 years. Couldn't run 100m without a swollen ankle and nothing short of surgery would fix it. I just let it be and it healed up after nearly 3 years. Now I can run 10ks without pain as long as I k...
