Forum seems to be sluggish and slower since last 2 days.

Why am I able to access this site only through TOR browser today? It is not loading in normal Firefox.

Nothing changed. Probably the hosting provider took another uplink or something

It's noticeably faster. click-load time is halved or better now.

Whats with the weird post timings??

does it record the local time of the poster in his own time zone??

Two consecutive posts, maybe even seconds having mere seconds between them show post times that are hours apart.

If you logged in, it will show your local time as per the specified time zone. If you didn't log in, the time will be UTC. You can check the time zone in use at the bottom right of this screen. My screen reads: All times are UTC+05:30

Just wanted to say that I'm trying to get a couple of the India Aware team to understand the backend of running the forum. My take them a few days to really understand how to do so. I'm confident that they are capable enough to get this done soon. Also, I hope to start an archive forum and hopefully shift a lot of topics that have been closed or not really as important to the archive for now. People should still be able to post in the archive and if it does regenerate that we can always bring it back to some of the active forms.

Unfortunately I I have activated a lot of member's for which some it seems have really just being fake members or Bots. This is resulted in occasional spam post before we can get to them and delete them. Staff still is trying to figure the intricacies of for management. Hopefully they should really get this soon now that they have access. Also still working on the archive Forum so that we can clean up some of the forms a lot better and decongest them

Blame it on google being smarter. Now the darn thing understands hindi too.

Changed the question again as I found it too hard to even figure out myself. If there have been any members who have had difficulty in trying to logon hopefully the new question should be a lot easier while trying to prevent spambots.
