Any ways, looks like the Kerala Govt and police will manage to get three women to Sabari Mala. One of them is a news channel reporter from AP/TS.

Whereas we have to do something about hyooman rights in order to draw applause from some imaginary bhestern audience that are watching us. Especially true for most English edumacated peepuls...

The BJP is caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. It is not looking at RJB here but it has already taken a stand on the triple talaq issue and it cannot be seen as being contradictory by taking a different position on the sabari mala issue. hence it is quiet and maybe speaking through the RSS this time.

............
I think the TT and the issue of Sabarimala are completely different. One is a societal law, the other a religious tradition. You CAN have a different stand on the two issues. For example, if the BJP had fought and campaigned for allowing all muslim women into all mosques and then said the same cannot happen at Sabarimala then it would be a double standard.

I don't understand the RSS at all. What is their objection to this? They are not a political organization even if they support the BJP (sometimes I doubt that even). That they are 100% committed to Dharma and Hindu causes should be self-evident given how the opposition loathes them and yet I see some discrepancies in their behaviour that makes me wonder.
The opposition FEARS the RSS for its dedication, committed cadre and above all, its ever present ability to make a very considerable difference in ANY disaster zone in the country working silently and without governmental support. The NGOs and other conversion mafias all fear being undercut by the RSS's selfless service culture. This fear is very real for the congis and the commies who have, for decades now, seen the effect of the RSS and the difference that their cadres make on the ground.

It mainly FEARS the RSS's ability to make a huge difference in ANY election campaign, were the organisation to chose to enter the arena in support of the BJP or impact the election negatively, if it chooses to stay out. Hence the constant attacks in the press by the lefties and "fashionable" urban naxals who see the years and years of their efforts to undermine the Indian and Hindu society being swept aside by the RSS.

Unfortunately, there are many obscurantists in the various semi independent outfits that are affiliated to the RSS who tend to shoot their bleddy mouths off and cause an adverse reaction in the press.

The RSS is supporting the sabari mala issue and is against the SC judgement.

With pride, I take back my words. The Ayyappa devotees have pulled themselves from the jaws of defeat. The police (and I am sure with Govt. support), decided to launch a major "operation" to take up two women to the hill shrine. One Kavita Koshi (X'ian, media worker & Rehana Fathima, Muslim BSNL staff). The muslim woman is a known Hindu hater. The police & the feminists reached the open grounds before the final 18 steps leading to the temple. Their 100s of devotees just refused to move and blockaded the area. The police did not have the plans to lathi charge the crowd.

As of now the Devaswom Board in-charge minister has asked the police to take back the women down the hill (classic down-hill sking). The Governor has asked the DGP to meet him with the status report. The Chief Minister is in a begging spree in UAE (collecting funds for Flood Relief).

And one more thing; there has not been any violent incidents from the devotees. They just stood their ground changing Ayyappa Bhajans. The chief priest also said that if a woman enters the shrine, he would just lock up the temple and step down.

Shameless English & Malayalam media (except one channel of the BJP) were only "adding more fuel to the fire".

Not to mention Indians didn't find it worth to learn from cultures that haven't invaded and genocides - after so many decades past independence.

One would presume that dissenting judgement in post-colonial world war 2 (by victors against losers of WW2) case would have made any lasting relationship between such and such cultures like Japan so as to not blinded by machinations of same genocidal colonials.

Haha! In a fundamentalist barbaric mix of religion+politics, these two women would be charred alive for visiting anywhere near other's religions.

As they say derogatorively against India, India me sub chaltaa he! The entire media seems to have bought over by pseudo secular external power.

Meanwhile in naarth yidia, padree accused of sexual machinations in Jalandhar welcomed post-bail with flowers garlands?! Why would anyone do that!

Kerala Nun rape case: Franco Mulakkal gets ‘grand’ welcome on Jalandhar return

Franco Mulakkal was on Wednesday given a ‘grand’ welcome by the Diocese of Jalandhar as he returned from Kerala after getting bail in a rape case. Mulakkal, who headed the Diocese of Jalandhar before stepping aside last month, has been accused of raping a nun. He remained in jail for over three weeks before getting conditional bail on October 15.

Mulakkal reached the Bishop House in Jalandhar around 5 pm on Wednesday where large number of his supporters, including nuns who out numbered others, and the current administrative Bishop, Agnelo Gracias, were present at the main entrance to welcome him.

Posters welcoming Mulakkal were put up around the Bishop House. The road leading to the Bishop House was jammed as hundreds lined the way raising slogans and reciting prayers in favour of Mulakkal and the Catholic Church. A nun said she had come from Gurdaspur church along with several other nuns just to express solidarity with the Bishop.

Supporters showered flower petals on his vehicle as it entered the Bishop House and even garlanded him when he alighted from it. Mulakkal was lodged at the Pala jail after he was arrested on September 21 after questioning by the Crime Branch, Thrippunithura.

He had stepped down from his post before leaving for Kerala to join investigation on September 19. He was granted bail on October 15 after applying for it the third time.

In a brief interaction with mediapersons in the evening following prayers at the Bishop House, Franco Mulakkal said that he was thankful to all Punjabis for their blessings and best wishes in this testing period.

“I want to thank all Punjabis for standing by me in this hour of trouble. Right now investigation is going on and I am cooperating, I am satisfied and I have the confidence on the legal system of our country,” he said.

Replying to a question about whether he will be getting back the charge of Bishop of Jalandhar Diocese now, he said that the case was still going on and administrative Bishop Agnelo Gracias will look after diocese activities at the moment. Meanwhile, Bishop House officials as well as Franco Mulakkal said that a person who is appointed Bishop once is always addressed as Bishop even after his retirement.

Interestingly, at the Bishop House, Mulakkal sat on the chair of the Bishop as he interacted with the media. His supporters raised slogans ‘Punjabi Puttar Bishop Franco Mulakkal Zindabad’.

looks like swarna raju, ex chairman of HAL was not only named swarna but his name was the corporate mission statement as well, swarnam eva jayate.

HAL’s jets costlier than foreign ones, says defence ministry audit

Su-30MKI – the mainstay fighters of the Indian Air Force (IAF) which is manufactured by HAL under licence from Russia – is about Rs 150 crore costlier than the ones made in Russia, according to the document, a copy of which has been reviewed by Hindustan Times.

Oct 19, 2018

Sudhi Ranjan Sen New Delhi

Fighter jets made by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) – the Bengaluru-based defence public sector unit – cost more than the same jets produced abroad by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), a recent review of the state-owned company by the ministry of defence (MoD) has found.

The department of defence production is studying the document, said an officer aware of the development who did not want to be identified.

Su-30MKI – the mainstay fighters of the Indian Air Force (IAF) which is manufactured by HAL under licence from Russia – is about Rs 150 crore costlier than the ones made in Russia, according to the document, a copy of which has been reviewed by Hindustan Times.

“The aircraft produced at HAL comes at a significantly higher cost when compared to direct purchase from the OEM,” the document added.

A Su-30MKI made in Russia cost Rs 269.77 crore whereas one made by HAL in India costs Rs 417.69 crore, almost “Rs 150 crore” more per aircraft, the review said.

Similarly, there is a huge cost difference between the cost of the Hawk trainer aircraft manufactured by British Aerospace and those made HAL.

After long and torturous negotiations, India bought British made Hawk jets to train pilots in 2004. Of the initial 62 Hawk jets, 24 were to be bought in a fly-away condition and the remaining were to be manufactured under licence by HAL. Each Hawk aircraft manufactured Britain in 2004 cost Rs 78 Crore. Those manufactured at HAL would have cost Rs 88 crore that year. The cost Hawk aircraft produced by HAL continued to increase. In 2010, the cost shot-up to Rs 98 crore and in 2016, Rs 153 crore. The difference in price “is primarily due to lesser efficiency and exorbitant man hour rates,” the review has found.

Interestingly, the purchase of 126 Medium Multi-Role Rafale fighters from French Defence manufacturing giant Dassault that was negotiated by the previous government (108 would have been assembled in India by HAL) was scrapped because of high man hour cost at the Indian state-owned company. HAL would have needed 2.7 times more man-hours than the French company for each aircraft.

HAL disagrees with the interpretation of the report. Responding to queries, a spokesperson said “Cost escalation from 2005 (for the Hawk jet) is normal. We also need to take into account the life-cycle cost of each product against off the shelf purchase from overseas. The indigenous benefits, the ecosystem HAL creates for the larger benefit of the country should be factored in also. Importantly, staggered or small orders deny economies of scale to HAL.” HAL also pointed to supply chain issues adding to cost. “Given that multiple agencies get involved in our manufacturing process, kit cost from OEMs and other delays like raw material and spare part supply issues, which are also endemic to the aerospace industry in India, the increase in cost must be evaluated in the right spirit,” the spokesperson added.

The National Democratic Alliance’s decision to enter a $8.7-billion government-to-government deal with France to buy 36 Rafale warplanes made by Dassault was announced in April 2015, with an agreement signed a little over a year later. This replaced the previous United Progressive Alliance regime’s decision to buy 126 Rafale aircraft, 108 of which were to be made in India by the state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.

The deal has become controversial with the Opposition, led by the Congress, claiming that the price at which India is buying Rafale aircraft now is Rs 1,670 crore for each, three times the Rs 526 crore, the initial bid by the company when the UPA was trying to buy the aircraft. It has also claimed the previous deal included a technology transfer agreement with HAL.

The NDA has not disclosed details of the price, but the UPA deal, struck in 2012, was not a viable one, former defence minister Manohar Parrikar has previously said, implying that it would have never been closed and that, therefore, any comparison is moot. Indeed, the UPA was not able to close the deal till 2014, largely over discussions related to pricing of items not included in the initial bid.

The NDA has said that the current deal also includes customised weaponry.

The deal has also become controversial on account of the fact that one of the offset deals signed by Dassault is with the Reliance Group of Anil Ambani. The Congress claims the earlier deal was scrapped and a new one signed just to provide Ambani this opportunity for an offset deal. Both the government and Reliance have repeatedly denied this.

What makes my blood boil is that the poster children for the protestors who want to enter the shrine are an Xtian and a Muslim! Clearly these people do not have any devotion or affiliation with Hinduism and far less, Lord Ayyappa himself. Imagine the reaction if it was a Hindu woman trying to get into the Kaaba or the innermost sanctum of the Vatican. It is mind-boggling that the media does not want to highlight this fact. But then we know why, don't we.

Modi is an utter failure. Despite having the strong mandate, he did absolutely nothing for any Hindu cause. He is more interested in creating an image for himself (for his imaginary world audience). He should have reined in the judiciary -- every SC judge would have had something to hide.

The sad thing is Hindus don't have an alternative.

Even the idiot Trump is effective -- he doesn't care what he is called, does what his constituency expects him to do.

How is Modi to be blamed?! He has provided enough big platform for all Hindus to do something about it. Instead Hindus, especially Ayyapa devotees adopt silly Gandhian type of resistance by rolling over the ground as "protest". If Keralite cops and Xian/Gayhadis were using force to enter, then the resistance should be likewise (i.e force). Being peaceful is nothing but a weakness.

sir, you are promoting subversion of one democratic institution by another. it is not done on BR.

People are giving Japanese example. It is well known fact that Japanese women are treated as secondary citizen. Japan is not a good example for us to follow. We are a democracy and we have to follow rule of law.

Laws are made by people, and people follow certain traditions. Courts should have backed off poking nose in cultural and religious practices except when they are regressive or punishing a gender such as 3T. Our judiciary is acting tyrannical, despotic and does not represent democracy in any way. They serve the interests of rich (I actually mean by it), because only expensive lawyers can get SC's attention. Sabrimala and many such BIF judgements have support of high and mighty lawyers that have huge funding. Poor devotees to Sabrimala certainly can not match that and hence they have poor representation in the court arguments, or at max have pro-bono lawyers (who may not be the best ones out there).

Anyways, Parliament should decide who becomes SC judges and collegium was the way to go. Instead Courts elect themselves and have no accountability.

To follow rules, the ladies could have taken a bus to another temple where lord Ayyappa is enshrined (sthapana) as married, and not insisted on 'visiting' temple as naishthik brahmachari.

The state could make bus services available to vijitin' activists, bimbos, pseudos and all such holier-than-thou bunch from afar only - say from capital airport to another temple - where they could actually worship lord Ayyappa as per correct inner realisations.

Except that, primarily, there won't be much bruhaha for bloated self-serving international egos, and that a temple won't necessarily have to entertain the bunch for their international BS just to make their own career.

Wonder why an Indian state must entertain pseudos and bimbos of all types and at whose cost, when it is possible simply take a state transport bus to another temple that suits their inner spiritual progress.

Can't you see that SC has already subverted democracy in India? When an institution appropriates power that doesn't belong to it and is reckless, unaccountable and at the same time afraid of Muslims and Christians but doesn't give a damn about Hindus, it is the responsibility of the executive and legislature to fix the situation -- by whatever means.
