Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

To the “I am hindutva onlee but need better alternative to Modi “ people Either you are with Modi or with Rahul. Stop obfuscating this. Maybe when MGB with Rahul is no longer a threat in 2024 you get to indulge in your “I want more hindutva” stuff. For now, get in line or get out. This incessant wh...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

Ignore the black money "patriots" on this forum. Chargesheet in 2G case was filed before May 2014. Coal scam has seen conviction. What the govt can be blamed for is laxity. Congress if given this opportunity will be all over the agencies to get a conviction. Rajnath and Jaitley should also take par...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

I think the TINA argument for protecting modi is well past its sell by date. Good. So who is the "alternative" we have in mind? My take would be Jignesh Mevani, Hard-dick Patel and Rahul Ghandi for the post of Prime Minister. PFI leaders(?), Owaisi etc. have good potential to become the Home Minist...

So much cognitive dissonance!

Is it really so difficult for you guys to admit that Modi is just another politician, who decides who is corrupt and who is honest based on political convenience?

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

Is an informed, fact-based debate too much to ask for? What Is a Bail-In and How Does It Work? Instead of bailing out private banks with tax payer money because they are too big to fail (like the US did in 2008), it would be so much preferable to give the richest bondholders and depositors the opti...

what is nail in clause in coming banking reform laws?
It allows the banks to offset their NPA losses against the deposits of common depositors. It is another form of legalized robbery after demonetization that this psychopathic government is allowing.

Mayawati and others alleging that BJP won only in those areas where EVMs were used, and lost where paper ballot were used.
It could mean that there was fraud in the paper ballot booths, since that is easier to perpetrate, no?
Yes Primus, you are absolutely right. :rotfl:

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017

I had posted on BRF just after the BJP victory'2014 that it needs to only 2 things in order to ensure that Hindus get victory in the long run: 1. Allow Hindus to open schools that give Hindu education (like minorities get) 2. Arm Hindu population to the teeth. That's it. Once the demographic pressur...
