Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

^^It is not a miracle. There are still more than 10 rounds of voting to go in most constituencies, with very thin margins in many seats. The multicornered contests with BSP and SP prolong the final results even more.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Today's battle has not gone well for us in the heartland. However, this will have very little bearing on LS 2019. The fact is that the NaMo factor is what kept these elections a close fight. Considering the narrow margins of loss in MP and RJ, there is no indication that LS 2019 will be anything but...

Awright Dawgs,

It be Decemba 10 eve (USA)/11 morn (India).

Praise be to Lawd Ram! Dat day of reckoning hath come upon us yet again. One more battle in da War to save Bharatvarsh from the asuras. 'Tis Kaliyuga, one must choose one's side before da Lawd cometh.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Regarding the "remaining silent" issue, it seems it is indeed having the usual effect. The "say something now! do something now!" posts have become more and more strident and desperate-sounding. The fundamental issue is that some are never willing to fall behind a leader without grumbling (to make i...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

It seems the same type of posts yet again out before the election results and/or any sign of adverse news. This is all just personal frustration being projected to blame the leader. The leader has never lied about his personal intentions and is delivering what he promised. If you do not like that, p...

All are part of the same "Sangh parivar". If at one point BJP or RSS or VHP is spearheading a particular issue, it doesn't mean the other two are being pushed aside.

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

^^I agree. Most of the exit polls may be faulty in methodology. I am very much on the positive side of things here. - I think MP and CG will be decisive victories with historic 20 year mandates for BJP. - RJ will be a narrow victory - MZ will be back with NDA (i.e. the NE would be Congi-mukt, and al...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Come on fellas, no point in beating the bishop on this.... Braveen Badil has made his MP and CG bredictions clear in two videos. MP: BJP floor 125-130, roof 150. CG: floor 45-50, roof 60+. No change in those. For RJ his latest tweets indicate a narrow BJP victory but he has been upfront in declaring...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

As far as I am concerned, the ideal result from this round of state elections would be: - Retain MP, CG, and RJ. - Help MNF topple Congis in MZ and achieve Cong-mukt NE. This is not a fantasy...MNF/NDA was in power all through the NDA-1 years and till 2007. Several INC leaders including the assembly...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - 3 (Oct 2018 - )

Does BJP stand any chance at all in Telangana? Both ModiJi and YogiJi campaigned there past few days? Whats the strategy? With his close relationship with Chinna Jeer SwamiJi and unabashed Hindu outlook, I thought KCR may ally with BJP, but he's pretty viscous against BJP of late, I don't see a tie...

Looks like MP victory for BJP could be huge, with the Sangh going all out on election day. Mamaji will be serving his state for yet another 5 years.

...and things are looking better every day in RJ.

Even TG seems to be getting more comfortable with BJP.

It is mostly playing out as I predicted earlier: - NaMo has only one mantra in every rally: sabka saath sabka vikas". - Overt "Hindutva" being seen especially from Yogi in UP. A very far-sighted decision to make him CM in 2017. He will neutralize any effects of a possible MGB. - In the south, BJP ha...
