Most of the parties have no internal election and some dynastic leader at top appoint candidates. A candidate must be a popular leader of the area.

What Indian election commission needs to do is mandatory elections inside each party to pick up candidate for each constituency. Just like primaries in USA about 3 months before general elections. Sampooran Singh Kalra aka Gulzar was born in british india. At that time everybody (including my parents and their siblings) learned to read/write in Urdu/Farsi till at least 5th Grade. I guess Gulzar was more fascinated with Urdu.

How do you charge tax on what are effectively donations (langar)? You don't, the GST applies to packed food item's only. If you are buying loose atta dal and rice. No GST applies. There can be only one pronunciation for every word not multiple as word originated from sound. I have never seen an islamic/arabic/russian/turkish/french/Pakistani etc whatever saints or religious figures names modified in English no matter how difficult to pronounce, why this kolaveri di for India...
