Re: Nukkad

Agree, there is no method to this madness. Just a visit to any children's hospital will open up your eyes. There are hoards of children both born in India and out of India with spacers and wheezing medication. Both my kids had it when we did R2I, the elder one was on medication almost for a year and...

Here is what he said, “Winning the Denmark Open will be a special feeling. This win serves a reminder that my two previous Super Series titles (Indonesian and the Australian Opens) were no flashes in the pan.” Srikanth added, though, that he was not going to rest on his laurels. “Definitely, I wish ...

Working in a services major means you get to participate in what we call as the customer song and dance routines which when it happens in NCR will end in couple of the restaurants listed out here. TBH, of all the restaurants like Bukhara, Dum pukht, Indian accent etc, I don't think they taste that e...

+1 on Rajindar, one of the best galouti kebabs I had. They have 3-4 restaurants with varying comforts all at the same location. Obviously I had it in the bottom rung one, we had couple beers in the car along with the kebabs and nearly got caught by the cops.

OK - that's a good list - should keep me going for a few weeks. The one I mentioned earlier - The Man From Earth, is a true sleeper, the entire movie is nothing but a long conversation between a group of University Professors, but boy, you need to pay attention, it grabs you and holds you, the endi...

Re: Gardening Thread

Aphids are one of the most difficult to kill in home settings. Coating the under part if the leaf with plant soap water can slow it, try the neem oil route, but neem oil has to be used carefully or it will in itself kill the plant. Natural predator for aphids are ladybugs, you can buy ladybug eggs o...

Agree, I still use a Vaio that I bought in 2012. Its quite fast and serves as my go to laptop and I have been using it in a daily basis all these years. The sheet battery it came with went kaput, but all the other things are in working order.

Re: Freeing Hindu Devalaya from Govt control - initiatives and status

This is something I also truly believe in. The Hindu temples should be free from the clutches of endowment board. But I don't think they should be given back to original trustees. There has to be a free and fair way to elect trustees and these positions should be term limited, and have similar entry...

This is a fav subject of mine. When we hike obviously a TP tent is set up for in all camps. Our guys dig the hole and they will close it when we move. There are some basic rules on where you can dig a hole and where you should not. India hikes got in to a controversy some years back. Some of us do f...

Seems the gathered BJP workers were enthused at the very mention of the Yogi's name, KL felt like a BJP state momentarily... Zee journo was all giddy and all. O...
